We also give Gen Z their flowers for their fearlessness, while keeping it all the way real about the generational differences between them and us Millennials. In this episode, we sit down with Chris Spear, the founder, and chef behind Perfect Little Bites, and discuss a wide range of topics from personal branding, his got-to foods, comfort cooking with nostalgic flavors, contract food service, plant-based cooking and the power of content marketing. Origin Story: Chris always dreamed of working in the food industry, starting from a young age when he was just 16. He pursued his culinary passion by attending culinary school, but the staggering debt from his education was as high as his monthly rent. The restaurant industry offered meager wages, with some places paying as little as $8 or $9 per hour. Chris's life took a turn when he discovered the world of contract food service. Discovering Contract Foodservice: Chris found his niche in the food industry while working for a catering company that handled events with 200 or more guests. The catering company didn't want to turn down smaller gigs like birthday parties and anniversary dinners. Chris was given the opportunity to run these smaller events, with the hope that they would lead to more significant opportunities. This marked the beginning of Chris's realization that these small gigs presented a unique business opportunity. Perfect Little Bites as a Blog: In 2010, Perfect Little Bites started as a blog. Chris used this blog as a tool for content marketing to provide people with insights into his business and the behind-the-scenes aspects of his work. It served as a screening tool to identify individuals who resonated with his style of cooking. He markets his service as high-end, emphasizing elements like linen and silverware to create a luxurious dining experience. The Power of Instagram and Personalization: Chris understands the significance of making his food Instagram-worthy. He values the personalized dining experience and how it can be shared online to create buzz. Chris integrates his personal Facebook with his business to allow people to see the real him. He values relationships over transactions. The Centerpiece or the Help: Chris discusses the importance of understanding the vibe of the party and the preferences of the guests. Some guests seek the full experience and culinary education, while others are too engrossed in conversations to notice the nuances of the dishes. Nostalgia and Classic Flavors: Chris shares his love for Heinz ketchup, highlighting that nostalgia and historical references trigger comforting memories that make food taste better. Classic flavors often remind us of the past, creating a connection with food. Plant-Based Ingredients: The episode delves into whether Chris incorporates plant-based beef or chicken into his culinary creations. Future Plans: Chris gives a glimpse of his future plans, shedding light on what's next for Perfect Little Bites. In some real sense, the cry of every human heart is: “help!”. We all need help at times in life. The real question is: where do we turn for that help? The psalmist here is reminding us that the true source of help is found in only one place. Psalm 121 is one of the most beloved psalms throughout time & history precisely because it gives us an answer to the question at hand, and because it comforts the soul of the Christ follower. We learn that the Creator is our helper. That the Almighty is our protector through the flames & trials of this life. And that the Lord will keep us from evil as He works all things together for the good of those who love Him!

Even the best sellers must overcome the feeling of burnout at one point or another. But how can we maintain performance while finding time for our physical and mental health? In today's episode of The Sales Evangelist, Donald is joined by Chris Prangley to discuss his own experience with burnout and how any seller can maintain success and momentum in their careers. Making good money can also come with stress:  Review your ‘why' to maintain motivation toward your financial goals or realign with your company mission and personal goals.  If you don't maintain your health and well-being, you'll eventually burn out. How do you determine why you do what you do? Making a certain amount of money is a great goal, but it is not a ‘why.' Instead, it should be more profound and connected to who you are. You'll find the most success at the intersection of your why and the company's mission. Try journaling about your traits and values to determine what you care about and continue to explore that. Look for the niche that excites you. What about the company or industry intrigues, inspires, and motivates you to sell it? Five things sellers can do to get recharged and handle burnout: Get out of the country at least once per year. Depart your normal and discover new cultures. The power of massage is incredible. Sitting at a desk all day can lead to tension and stress you don't realize is present. Work out or exercise early in the morning; you'll have more energy and be more productive. End your day with journaling, praying, or just expressing gratitude for what's happening in your life.  When you have an exhausting day, turn on your favorite song and spend a few minutes dancing. Find the things that work for you because we're all different, and different things will recharge us. Chris's major takeaway? Know that it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But there are amazing tools you can use to continue reaching your goals. Check out Chris's book, Tech Sales Warrior, available on Amazon and connect with him on LinkedIn or his company website at techsaleswarrior.com/. This episode is brought to you in part by Skipio. Are you sick of crickets? As a salesperson, the pain of reaching out with phone calls or emails and not receiving a response is real. But all text messaging is not created equal. 85% of people prefer text over email and phone calls because they want to engage in a conversation, not listen to bots. This week's show is with Chris Lüttichau. Chris is the founder of Northern Drum Shamanic Centre, a UK-based educational organisation offering a renewed perspective on traditional shamanic and medicine teachings, and a safe grounding from which to learn them established in 1998. He is the keeper of an integral body of teachings that he shares in workshops and ongoing training groups. The teachings cover a broad range of topics from healing and the art of dreaming to spirit contact and the way of the council. Chris is the author of the critically acclaimed book on shamanism 'Calling Us Home – Find Your Path, Your Balance and Your Inner Strength' published in 2017 and 'Animal Spirit Guides: Discover your Power Animal and the Shamanic Path' published 2009. He is an international teacher, and has appeared on TV on BBC 1, and in Denmark on TV2, and has given radio interviews in the USA, Canada, and the UK. In this show, their second together, Chris and Lian spoke about the shamanic understanding of Power Animals (also known as Animal Spirit Guides), what power is and what these animals are, other kind of animal helpers, how to discover your Power Animal and how it will benefit your life. I'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation…  please leave a comment below. What you'll learn from this episode: In shamanic traditions, it's seen that humans need power, not a 'power over' but spiritual, when we have that power we have the ability to awaken and connect more deeply with our higher self, with nature, with our path, and to excel in life... our Power Animals play an important roles in this, they bring power that can guide us on our journey I loved Chris's explanation of the Journey Animal vs Power Animal, the Journey Animal might be symbolic or a guide for a specific part of our journey, whereas a Power Animal can be seen as an aspect of soul and is with us for life. Setting the intention to discover your Power Animal in your dreams is the best way to uncover it - as I shared in the show, it's how I discovered mine - be patient, it might take time but one way or another, what's meant for you will be revealed. This week, we move into the 3rd element of a lament: asking God for help. A lot of us aren’t very good at asking for help, and even when we do, oftentimes we go to the wrong sources seeking it. King David teaches us how to ask for help throughout the psalms, but we’ll drill down into Psalm 22 this week. Here are some truths we can glean from this particular psalm: where you go with your pain, defines who you are. Remembering the past performance of God inspires future hope no matter how bad things seem in the moment. David also teaches us to pray ferociously bold prayers. Finally, having done all of this, we can park our hearts in praise as we trust God for the outcome knowing that deliverance belongs to the God who sees us, cares and loves us deeply.

Chris Stout's brother was in the Navy and told Chris to join the Army. So, Chris figured, he MUST know what he's talking about, right? Not necessarily so at first. Chris was out in the field and wound up being injured and discharged. There he was, young with a guaranteed income and ready to retire for life. Not necessarily so again. He soon found out that doing nothing was not a good lifestyle. A divorce and a drifting lifestyle later, he got it together. Went back to school and finished his degree, got examined closely and realized he had cognitive issues from his injury, and joined the non-profit sector. Now, his Veterans Community Project is amazingly diverse, meeting the needs of almost every person who took the oath to serve and defend their country.
