We all know trust matters in business. But it's usually framed as self-trust... trust yourself, back yourself, show up confidently. And while that's true, it's not the whole story. In this episode, Jackie and I talk about the kind of trust that doesn't get nearly enough airtime, and why it's at the heart of everything from pricing and retreat planning to expectation setting and sustainable growth. This one goes deep into what it really takes to lead when you care deeply and still want to scale.   In this episode, you'll hear: The real truth about retreats that most people won't tell you How a casual comment from Jackie's assistant revealed a bigger industry-wide truth The hidden power of clear, consistent expectation setting (and why most people skip it) What happens when you change your themes and frameworks too often, even with good intentions Why being sold on what you're offering matters more than how you sell it The uncomfortable tradeoffs between personalization, pricing, and your own capacity What trusting others really looks like when you're scaling with care and speed   Episode Links Join my Facebook group Connect with Jackie on Instagram Learn more about Jackie on her website

Sometimes, it takes a life-altering moment to expose how broken certain systems really are. Being diagnosed with cancer is terrifying on its own, but when that's paired with financial exploitation and desperation, something inside you changes. You stop waiting for help and start figuring out how to build something better—something that doesn't just serve you but protects others from the same pain. It's not about inspiration; it's about necessity forcing bold action. Brandon Aversano, Founder and CEO of Alloy, turned a cancer diagnosis into a mission-driven business. Frustrated by the shady gold-selling process, he launched The Alloy Market to bring transparency and fairness to an outdated industry. With experience at JP Morgan Chase and JetBlue, he blends financial smarts with a customer-first mindset. His platform makes it easier and safer for everyday people to sell gold without getting ripped off. Brandon's story is proof that hardship can spark real innovation. Stay tuned! There's a version of scaling that doesn't require self-sacrifice. In this episode, Jackie shares how stepping out of the wrong roles, especially operational ones, is what allowed her to fully claim what she wants most in this season: to prioritize motherhood without stalling business growth. We talk about the emotional maturity it takes to walk away from something you once wanted, the importance of mental bandwidth in a changing economy, and why “back-end work” can become a comfort zone if you're not careful. If you've ever wondered whether it's really possible to grow a business while choosing yourself… this conversation is proof that it is.   In this episode, you'll hear: The mindset shift required to walk away from something you once wanted What Jackie's other business opportunity reveals about hidden tradeoffs in every business model The one move that unlocks true scalability The biggest needle-mover that matters most at this level (that most people won't do) The way to use AI that no one is talking about The key to navigating a changing economy   Episode Links Join my Facebook group Connect with Jackie on Instagram Learn more about Jackie on her website

What if happiness wasn't just a fleeting feeling, but our natural state of being? In this powerful and heart-opening session, Sister Shivani, Brahma Kumaris Spiritual Teacher and host of “Happiness Unlimited,” shares a deeply transformative message from Tony and Sage Robbins' 2024 Date with Destiny stage in Abu Dhabi—a spiritual wake-up call to reclaim your inner power, master your thoughts, and become a radiant force of healing energy in the world. Through her wisdom, you'll discover that happiness is not just a personal pursuit—it's a karmic responsibility—and that we can raise our vibration moment by moment to not only transform ourselves, but to help heal the world. Sister Shivani explores the three pillars of personal power, with a special emphasis on the power to forgive and let go, and reveals how our thoughts, intentions, words, and behaviors ultimately shape our destiny. She breaks down what true karma means—and how to align it with love—while offering a powerful invitation to live happy and leave happy by mastering your inner world. Above all, she reminds us: no one outside of us has the power to disturb our peace—unless we give it away. Sadiqa, my guest's mother, was fifteen years old when she became a mother for the first time as part of an arranged marriage in Baghdad, Iraq in 1955. She was a wonderful mother but Sairan thought a bit too cautious which is very common for a teenager to think. Having a more conservative husband, Sadiqa loved all of her children equally and would often do anything for them. She was more lenient that her husband. My guest was one of seven children, safely nestled in the middle of the large group of children. With no formal education, she never did any professional training, she was beautiful, had a wonderful sense of humor and did everything for her children as her husband travelled frequently for business. In Sairan's mind, her mother "had seven PHD's because she raised seven wonderful children, each one unique.Unfortunately, Sadiqua died unexpectedly at fifty-eight years old and Sairan wasn't able to introduce her first child to her mother in person.Sairan is a Business Strategist and Engineer but she also is helping people unpack their hidden gem. Often, we think we are happy-working, taking care of the family, seeing friends, etc. But, Sairan, who was born in Bagdad and now an Iraqi American citizen, learned many life lessons at 26 years old  when she came to the United States with her big American dreams. Today, she's a mom, entrepreneur and very successful engineer, but she's come to appreciate the belif of making and impact in the workd and that obstacles can be overcome. "Voices of Truth" is a compilation of engaging speakers sharing their stories of impact. Sairan is on the the contributing authors. As one can expect, being so far away from family, at such a young age, had it's challenges and heartbreak. And it was such an honor to hear Sairan share stories of her mother. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned back in 2002 but I'm grateful that Sairan felt comfortable opening up to me.My guest has launched another career where she's helping middle aged women and men take their next steps in life to figure out who they are, what they want to do with their lives and what kind of impact they want to have on the world.I received wonderful emails from Sairan including these wonderful tidbits about her mother. She wrote "my relationship with my mother has been both foundational and transformative. She was a woman of quiet strength and resilience, and while our bond wasn't always expressed through words, her actions taught me the value of perseverance, integrity, and grace under pressure. She laid the groundwork for the woman I've become—both as an engineer and a business strategist—by modeling the power of showing up fully, even when the odds are stacked against you.I was drawn to your podcast because I believe these stories matter. The influence of our mothers or female role models often shapes our identity in powerful, often subtle, ways. I wanted to share insights on how that influence—especially in midlife—can become a springboard for reinvention. For many women, midlife feels like a cross roads. But with the right mindset, it can be a launch pad.  That's a message I hope will inspire your audience to reflect on their own journeys and the women who helped shape them."There are many wonderful stories that Sairan shared with me. I hope you enjoy this episode. And take a part of  Saduqa with you where ever you go. SOCIAL MEDIA:LINKEDIN: Sairan Aqrawi, M.Sc.INSTAGRAM: sairanaqrawiEngineering Innovator | Leadership Strategist | Transformational Team Lead | Communication Specialist | Team Performance ExpertWashington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied ScienceWashington DC-Baltimore Area Contact infoLet's Set Up a Meeting    T AN IMPACT IN THE WORLD / AND THAT  “OBSTACLES CAN BE OVERCOME”. Send us your feedback In this episode, Technology Partner Tom Maasland speaks with Craig Pattison, Business Strategist and COO at Capability Collective and a leading agritech advocate and advisor, about how AI is transforming the agricultural sector and driving innovation, productivity and sustainability on farms across New Zealand.[01:34] Tom and Craig discuss how AI is actively being deployed across dairy, livestock, meat processing and horticulture operations in New Zealand. From Fonterra's herd monitoring systems to quality control of kiwifruit at Zespri, AI is driving smarter farm management, boosting productivity, and delivering positive outcomes for farmers, livestock, and the communities they support.[03:47] Craig highlights Halter's smart collars, which automate herd movements and optimise grazing patterns for cows, as a standout AI innovation in this sector, noting how this AI supported innovation supports better pasture management and opens new revenue streams for farmers.[05:14] Craig talks about various AI applications in crop production, focusing on Cropsy Technologies' AI enabled crop vision system and Rockit Apples' full supply chain tracking system. These tools help meet high-value export demands and strengthen food traceability and provenance.[07:18] Tom and Craig then explore key challenges in adopting AI within the agricultural sector, beginning with issues of data transparency and ethical concerns surrounding data ownership and usage, particularly in relation to Māori land. Craig highlights promising initiatives such as Trust Alliance NZ's digital farm wallet project, ISO/TC 347's international data standards for agri-food systems, and Te Hiku Media's Māori-led data platforms, which offer potential solutions to data transparency and ethical challenges.[10:27] They address the challenge of connectivity and cost in rural areas which can hinder the adoption of AI-based technologies on farm. Craig highlights promising solutions, including the Rural Connectivity Group's partnership, which is working to establish a tower network enabling more extensive 4G coverage, Starlink satellite internet, and AgriTech NZ's 'AI on the Edge' initiatives, which support local data processing without the need for high-speed internet. Craig stresses the vital role of connectivity not just for efficient farm operations, but also for farmer safety.[12:30] Craig notes regulatory complexity as another key challenge for the adoption of AI in agriculture, stressing the need for long-term investment certainty. He points to the AIMS framework (which supports the international standard for AI management, ISO/IEC 42001:2023) as a practical tool for ethical and compliant AI use, emphasising that regulation can serve as a roadmap, rather than a roadblock, for innovation.[14:34] Tom asks about future priorities, prompting Craig to explain the importance of regulatory clarity, AI literacy, and national coordination. He emphasises the need for farmers to adopt AI strategically and for the sector to shift from volume to value production. They wrap up with a call to create a learning culture through existing farming networks.Information in this episode is accurate as at the date of recording, 6 May 2025. Please contact KFor show notes and additional resources visit minterellison.co.nz/podcasts

Have you ever felt torn between who you are... and who you used to be?  Inside all of us live competing identities—conflicting desires, beliefs, and values. True growth begins not by choosing one or the other, but by learning to honor and integrate them with compassion and clarity. In this powerful intervention from Date with Destiny 2024, Tony Robbins works with tech entrepreneur Josh—whose journey took him from washing dishes in college to building software used by hundreds of millions. He's achieved incredible success—and endured painful setbacks—but even with everything he's built, something feels off. The fire inside him has burned out. Josh has embraced the spiritual, laid-back “hippie” within—the side of him that no longer chases external wins. But that identity conflicts with the ambitious, relentless entrepreneur he used to be... and that internal battle has left him stuck. Tony helps Josh uncover how his unconscious mind has kept these parts of himself at odds—and how to bring them into alignment to unlock his full potential. Using tools like the Psychology of Human Needs and Collapse Anchors, Tony guides Josh to create a new story: one where he doesn't have to choose between sides but can rise as something greater. This isn't just one man's breakthrough—it's a reflection of the journey we all face. Because when we create harmony within, we awaken the power to become who we're truly meant to be. We hope this serves you—and we'd love to hear what insight you take away. *You can watch this intervention (and tons of powerful Tony Robbins content) on our official YouTube channel: youtube.com/@TonyRobbinsLive       *Tony Robbins is a #1 New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the nation's #1 Life and Business Strategist. From Debt to Seven Figures: How Jeanne Omlor Built a Thriving Online Business Without Ads How does a single parent go from deep debt to a seven-figure business in less than two years without spending on advertising? In this compelling episode, host Gary Heldt welcomes Jeanne Omlor, a Business Strategist, Seven-Figure Online Business Coach, and Certified Servant Leadership Executive Coach who shares her remarkable transformation. Jeanne Omlor shares her journey from struggling offline coach to successful online business owner. After eight years of working as a coach and facing mounting debt after a life change, Jeanne decided to pivot to online business. Despite initially investing in Facebook ads training, she discovered the power of organic marketing instead. By developing a system based on human relationships, she built a seven-figure business in just 17 months with approximately 92% profit margin. Five and a half years later, she maintains a sustainable business that has helped nearly 500 coaches, consultants, and service providers thrive through her organic marketing methods. Key Takeaways → Following up properly with leads is essential for business success. Most business owners fail to implement a systematic approach to follow-up, letting potential clients slip away. → Organic social media marketing on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook presents enormous opportunities that many businesses aren't properly harnessing. → Fear of judgment and concern about professional image often prevents business owners from taking the necessary actions to grow their client base. → Business anxiety affects quality of life - when you're constantly worried about finances, you can't be fully present with loved ones even when physically with them. → Success brings freedom from financial anxiety, which significantly contributes to overall happiness and life satisfaction. Quotes from Jeanne "There's not a worse feeling in the world than not fulfilling your potential. You're doing all the things, you're doing everything to be a good parent... but it doesn't feel good because you're just worried." "Thriving wasn't really the order of the day with me. Because I'm emotionally connected to that, I don't want people to go through what I went through. I want it to happen for them." Is your brain the secret key to spiritual development and happiness? In this live presentation recorded at Tony & Sage Robbins' 2024 Platinum Partners Happiness Event in Abu Dhabi, neuroscientist Andrew Newberg, M.D. explores “The Spiritual Brain: The Link Between Spirituality, Sexuality, and Happiness.” Drawing on cutting-edge fMRI and PET scans, Dr. Newberg defines exactly what a spiritual experience is and shows you where—and how—those moments light up your neural circuitry. You'll discover the core components that make these experiences so transformative and learn how repeated ritual practices reshape the brain over time. Along the way, he reveals the evolutionary roots of ritual and explains why religious and spiritual encounters have the power to change our views of reality, our relationships, our work—and even our deepest beliefs about God, science, and ourselves. Watch now to uncover the surprising ways your own brain is wired for transcendence—and how that wiring can lead you to a more fulfilled, happier life. Leadership sounds simple in theory, but in reality, it's a constant balancing act between vision, execution, and human dynamics. Teams lose motivation when they don't feel heard, and growth stalls when leaders rely on surface-level strategies that don't address deeper issues. The real challenge isn't just making decisions—it's creating an environment where people feel invested and capable of pushing forward. Without a clear, effective approach, even the best intentions can fall flat. Jim Carlough is a business strategist, speaker, and author with 25+ years of experience in healthcare leadership and growth. https://youtu.be/ogf58Yalix8 Dr. Sharon Spano, Executive Coach, Business Strategist, and author of The Pursuit of Time and Money, is driven by a mission to help leaders realize their fullest potential and elevate their impact across business, family, and community. We learn about Sharon's journey helping high-performing leaders navigate stress, growth, and transformation through The Awareness Elevation Framework. By guiding them to witness themselves, build awareness, observe patterns, and shift behaviors, Sharon empowers deeper personal and professional growth. In this episode, Sharon unpacks the 12 stages of adult development and reveals why many leaders plateau early—despite external success. We explore how awareness creates lasting change, and how the “emptiness of success” often mirrors one's inner relationship with time, money, and life. --- Become a Self-Aware Leader with Dr. Sharon Spano Good day, dear listeners, Steve Preda here with the Management Blueprint Podcast. And I have today Dr. Sharon Spano, Executive Coach and Business Strategist, and the author of The Pursuit of Time and Money. As my guest, Sharon, thanks for joining me on the show. Thank you so much for having me, Steve. I am looking forward to this. Yeah, I am very curious about what you're bringing to the table. You have some original ideas on executive coaching and business strategy. But let's start with my favorite question. What is your personal “Why” and what are you doing to manifest it in your practice? Well, that's a very big question. The “Why” is all about helping people realize their fullest potential. And the reason that it's so important to me is because I have seen just so much damage across the country and across the world from individuals who have been under poor leadership. And I really believe that leadership is just a very important part of our economy and how businesses are run. And so anything that I can do, the primary focus is to help leaders as I've moved into this other stage of my career, really help them discover and uncover some of the things that are holding them back, even though they may be successful. I find there's always something more that they're looking for so that they can be better leaders for themselves, their families and their businesses. Yeah, I think it's such an overlooked idea that leaders are multipliers. And when you coach a leader and you make them better, then you improve the quality of not just the family, but their employees and the employees, and they are happier then they're going to help the customers and their family. So it's a real force multiplier that you do when you coach your leaders the right way. So this podcast is a podcast of frameworks, and I'm always after frameworks, as you know. So I'm wondering about your framework that you could share with us. We talked about a three-stage transition framework for entrepreneurs. I don't know if that's the right title for it. Can you talk a little bit about this framework? I operate, as most of us do, I think, from many frameworks. The primary framework that I use is grounded in human development because I believe that's a very important part of how we become more effective leaders. Many people don't understand that the stages of human development are exactly that opportunity. But if we wanted to boil it down to some of the things that you and I talked about, we talked about being able to witness oneself, have that awareness of awareness, and then to look at how to leverage opportunities for growth so that if something is going on in your life, for instance, it might feel like it's very, very challenging, it is actually an opportunity to move into another stage of development. And then to look at what is the best option to get there, because sometimes, we're not able to do that on our own. We need other people to walk alongside of us. And that's why I believe the coaching profession has grown in the way that it has...
