This week, join Adam Jackson, Jeff Lederer and Carrie Vajko as we continue our study of Romans, diving into chapter 1 verses 18 through 32 to discuss how ignorance of God is not an excuse. We all have sin in our lives and we all need salvation, and that is the importance of spreading the gospel. There is no bliss in ignorance, but there is joy in a relationship with God!Subscribe for more in-depth discussions and weekly updates on our biblical seriesFind Study Guides at springlakechurch.org/study-guides Connect with us!springlakechurch.org/getconnectedspringlakechurch.orgNeed Prayer? Welcome back to The Follow Up! Join Jack Guerra, Jeff Lederer and Carrie Vajko as we trek further on our journey of faith. This week, we delve into Genesis 24:1-67 and the story of the beginning of Isaac and Rebekah's relationship. Rebekah was a woman of moral character and integrity, and an answer to prayer as a partner for Isaac, but God had this answer before Isaac even needed to bring it up in prayer. Even in the most mundane moments, God's hand can guide our circumstances. God holds the storyline and He provides for our needs, and this story demonstrates this. We can trust that God is working behind the scenes in our life and that trust is the catalyst to faith, and our reason for hope.Subscribe for more in-depth discussions and weekly updates on our biblical seriesFind Study Guides at springlakechurch.org/study-guides Connect with us!springlakechurch.org/getconnectedspringlakechurch.orgNeed Prayer? Welcome back to The Follow Up! Join Jack Guerra, Jeff Lederer and Carrie Vajko as we trek further on our journey of faith. This week, we continue exploring the story of Abram though a discussion on "the messy middle". Even as God establishes His covenant and has anointed Abram, who he renames Abraham, to be the father of His people, Abraham still takes actions that our contrary to God's plan. He still allows his own insecurities to conflict with the faith in God's promises, and seeks his own way. We also discuss Sodom and Gomorrah and the dangers of surrounding yourself with people who can corrupt and lead astray. Even these Biblical figures who are viewed as models of faith falter and let their eyes shift to the world, and there are repercussions, but God stays true to His promise and we can know that as long as we remain committed to Him, He can use us for His glory and good.Subscribe for more in-depth discussions and weekly updates on our biblical seriesFind Study Guides at springlakechurch.org/study-guides Connect with us!springlakechurch.org/getconnectedspringlakechurch.orgNeed Prayer? In this episode, we go beyond the music conversations we've gotten used to having. Andrew speaks with Maya Chan (as she likes to call herself), or Maya Rose Lederer, the daughter of Andrew's friend saxophonist, composer, and band leader Jeff Lederer. Maya is a super talented young chef who Andrew has known since she was born - calling him Uncle Andrew is not out of the question. During this conversation, Maya speaks about her experience on Master Chef, running a Japanese restaurant in NYC during the pandemic, what it's like to work front-of-house as a young person, the many ways in which Covid is changing so many industries, sexism in the restaurant industry, what is being done to shift that tide, and more. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/andrew-norman-dangelo/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/andrew-norman-dangelo/support
