This is an electric episode... Nick Pivetta made Sox history with 13 Ks, joining Red Sox LEGEND Smoky Joe Wood. We then actually recap the Cubs series, but then start talking about what Dave O'Brien does on vacation. Maybe crack open a ginger ale and play a mean game of scrabble? Next, we beg NESN to hire Jonny Gomes as a sideline reporter and imagine what would happen. And of course, we provide your weekly lesson in Japanese while talking about a travel chamber so Yoshida doesn't get jet lag. This episode is an ALL-TIMER, enjoy!

Host: Brian Harrington Guest: Joe Wood of Satoshi Pacioli Accounting Services Record Date: July 20, 2022 Record Location: Remote This episode has been a long time in the making. I onboarded a taco shop in Southern California with our Bitcoin meet up to BTC Pay Server for the first time back in 2020, and ever since then, I've basically been working on understanding the ins and outs of small businesses more and how they can adopt Bitcoin. My conversation with Joe Wood of Satoshi Pacioli is now the most succinct discussion I've been able to have about how a small business can use sats and hold sats and I'm pumped up about that, I hope you like it. We cover: - The history and purpose of accounting in general - The difference between rules for private and public company's treatment of Bitcoin - End to end, how can a business accept sats as payment and then buy something from a vendor in sats - How to think about sats and USD on a balance sheet Thanks for listening, please do us a favor and hit the thumbs up, follow, and subscribe buttons on your favorite platforms!
