What if one morning, or afternoon, or evening, we suddenly came to the realization that we've been needlessly working hard for people who don't care about our ultimate welfare, and that death and taxes are not inevitable, that we can rise above them? Well, that's the message of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, that we're not meant for this world. We have a higher mode of existence which has to do with the goings-on in the spiritual world, which are full of bliss and knowledge and they're based on loving service, not hard work, drudgery, and death. And then, what if we found out there was a method through which we could transform our hearts and minds, and transfer ourselves to that realm? And then, what if we found out it was easily available to every human being who has a tongue and the inclination to be connected to that world? Well, such a thing has happened, and that's why we're here. So the rest of the world may consider that this is a normal place, but it's not—this, meaning the material world. And Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, to those who have a hankering for more, who have tasted something unusual and want to enter into that realm, has given the Mahamantra. So it's a prayer which is begging Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārānī for service. We're simply begging for service in that realm which may begin and does begin in this realm. The mode of service doesn't have to wait to be transferred somewhere; it has to do with our intention. So, as we chant today, we can remember how fortunate we are to have received this information from the spiritual world and the means to transfer ourselves there, even while we're in this world. Don't let a single breath be wasted. He who enthrones Naam on the asana (seat) once, he doesn't have to think of anything, the second seat is naturally taken by God. Wealth rolls at the feet of he who sings Naam. The singer of Naam sacrifices both sin and merit. By hearing Naam constantly, the Mother [kundalini] is awakened. Then she starts singing and dancing, emanating light both inside and outside the singer [She comes in the form of Nada]. The singer of Naam then keeps hear ing this spontaneous singing by the Mother. In the brilliant light of the Mother's body, the singer sees the devayana - the road to vaikuntha. At the time of departing from this life, he discards his outer frame and goes out by the Brahma-randhara and this liberated soul goes along the devayana, where he is worshipped by the gods and finally arrives at vaikuntha, at the feet of Sri Bhaga wan, who lifts him up and endears him." -Sri Sri Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathji

Reading Chapter 15, which is based on the Yoga of the Supreme Person, of the Bhagavad Gita, during the month of Purushottam (which in this case is from July 18th to August 16th, 2023) helps you get faith in the fact that Lord Sri Krishna does exist in this world and the massive universe out there miles miles miles away from planet Earth. This is the fundamental reason as to why you should be reading this chapter from the Gita during the holiest months out of all months - which the Supreme Personality of Godhead (or also known as Lord Sri Krishna) purely enjoys. And you already know what Purushottam has to offer to each one of us if we do the duties that we are told, which is to be forgiven for all of our past and current sins or mistakes that we have made in this material life as humans. As always, create the light of positivity in your life by becoming a Krsna Devotee, and also help another person out in need of answers about what type of life we are living in today's, yesterday's, and tomorrow's upcoming society ahead. So they can stop living in this world of misery altogether! :) While you are at it, be sure to take a look at our Searching For Krsna newsletter and other forms of our content from my Linktree provided below. :) Linktree URL = https://linktr.ee/himanishgoel Searching For Krsna Newsletter URL = https://medium.com/calling-krsna-newsletter Hare Krsna, everyone. Stay happy and always remember the three rules for daily practice: Chant 108 times for completing 1 round consistently, Read Sacred Texts like the Bhagavad Gita & Srimad Bhagavatam and Doing Devotional Service & Association with other devotees. :) But specifically speaking for the month of Purushottam, these are the three rules for remembering: Chant as many rounds possible of the Maha-Mantra, Read Chapter 15 (based on the Yoga of the Supreme Person) of Bhagavad Gita as many times as possible, do as much Devotional Service for the Lord, and use Association for chanting with other devotees. :)

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare HareHare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare-Wiki(even though Rama has two syllables, the second 'a' isn't pronounced, listen to Maharajji chanting Rama, here). Keep an AirPod in on low volume.  Even when you're at work listening to the 'illusory struggle', you'll have one ear in the Kingdom, on Truth, at all times."It's all illusion except the Name of the Lord."-Ramayana "All sorrow is due to the fact that many are seen where there is only One."-Anandamayi Ma In the foreground is the Great Mantra of Deliverance and in the background, a 528hz frequency, known as 'the sun frequency', and the 'miracle frequency'. Listen while you sleep. Listen while you play. Listen while you work. and chant, chant, 'chant and be happy!' "Chant Hare Krsna Mantra Sixteen Times--Please!So people are so rascal, they will not even chant Hare Krsna mantra. So Krsna is teaching. Krsna is so kind. He's personally teaching. That is, perform yajña. He's personally chanting, dancing, Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Personally, He's teaching us, "Perform this yajña you rascal, and you'll get everything. You'll get everything." Now, where is the proof? The proof is this Krsna consciousness movement. We are simply chanting Hare Krsna maha-mantra and spending millions of rupees. Simply. What we are doing? We are not doing any business. We have not many professional men.But why we are getting ..? We are spending eight hundred thousand rupees per month. And we have got food, we have got milk. We are feeding others also, bringing food. So why don't you see practically how these Krsna conscious people are fabulously rich. This question was raised in Parliament also. So how we became fabulously rich? We do not do anything. I have not taught you anything magic. I simply request you, "Chant Hare Krsna mantra sixteen times- please!!" But you are not even following that. This is the only remedy."-(Lecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.8.18 /Mayapura, September 28, 1974)Helpful links--How and Why to Chant the Hare Krishna MantraMantra Chanting ChallengeSupport the show

Chanting for ChangeChanting to SeeChanting with LoveAS Love, Let's go!4/26... or NOW ;) but we'll officially start together as One, next Wednesday!SIGN UP for the Chanting Challenge, here! Helpful links- 12 reasons you should chant "Hare Krishna"The practice that changed my lifeChanting is the Fast Pass at Disney World Watch how I use my mala! When I share the recording of the Mahamantra soon, I'll share my favorite details and scriptural quotes about it in the show notes. If you have any questions about my other favorite mantras feel free to email me! And know that no matter what name of God you chant, the same One hears It! All messages reach the same address! I Love you,Nik nikki@curlynikki.com"Don't consider chanting the name to be a mere practice. The Name itself is God."-Muktananda"Ram's form left this world, Krishna's form left this world, but the name stays. By reciting his name, everything is achieved." Shaking his head, he reiterated, "Everything is achieved."-Maharajji "Chanting is the means of attaining everything. Through chanting, you are purified on the inside. Through chanting, love arises. If love arises, it means that you have attained God, because God's true nature is love. You sing His name so that love will arise. No good deed can equal chanting. Tulsidas said that by chanting the Name of God everything becomes pure and auspicious."-Muktananda "From the fruits of his mouth a man fills his stomach, And from the fruits of his lips he will fill himself to the full.Life and death are in the hand of a tongue, And those who rule over it will eat thefruits thereof."-Proverbs 18: 20-21CHALLENGE RULESEach day (beginning 4/26):1. Wake up an hour earlier to chant (think of it like your actual job that will pay you actual dollars) at least 12 rounds on your mala/prayer beads while hearing the words clearly. Hear the Names of God, even though your mind will be split and doing/thinking about other things. Keep bringing your attention back to the sound of the Name. That's all. Keep coming back to the Sound on your tongue and silence in your head. 2. Chant your last 4 rounds in the evening before bed. Throughout the day, allow your attention to be directed toward the mantra which will still be running in the background-- let It hangout in the foreground as you run errands, eat, drive, shower, etc. When you're home doing it formally, you can chant it just barely audibly, or loudly if you choose, but while out, you can keep it going silently within, or just allow your lips to move slightly with no sound. And that's it! We're starting with a week so you can 'try it on', but if you keep it up for at least 6 months, you'll drastically change your entire life for the better!  Support the show

"Only Christ is real." Your ego can't hear this, but You can. Your ego won't chant,  but He does, in you, as You, creating the success you've been seeking, the success that's yours,  that only 'time' is separating.  So perk up and focus on the Light. Focus on the Silence. Smile, and hear the revealed Names, the powerful mantras, like the ones that have often sounded here-- "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare HareHare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare"-The Mahamantra (listen to this episode, and then listen to my favorite version of the Mahamantra- starts at 3:14 but LOVE the vibe of the whole track)"Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner."-The Jesus Prayer (read this book)"Ram Ram Ram Ram" -Japa of Ram (which means transcendent Light/Love/Mercy, read this page, and hear Maharajji chant)"Only Love is here.""Let me be an instrument of Peace."-from St. Francis' prayer "Not good human hood, not bad human hood, invisible Christhood."-Joel Goldsmith"I am Loving Awareness"-Ram Dass (read this book)I Love you, Niknikki@curlynikki.com p.s. all the Names are calling the One God. One God, many Names. One Sun rising in many places. ___________________________________Today's Quotes-"O Arjuna, I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness."-Sri Krishna "Whatever doubts come, however frightening they are, know they are the creation of your mind. Have you ever seen a cloud that never moves and stays in one place permanently? It is impossible. In the same way, your misery and suffering are like clouds. Some clouds disappear in an instant, while some take a little longer to go away. But they do pass away and that is inevitable."-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar"If instead we strive for what is permanent, made of spirit, we will attain a lasting happiness."-@sant.rajinder.singh.ji.maharaj"Then the supreme itself will enter into your open heart and sit down there permanently because it is already there."-Papaji "If you're feeling low, remember this › ›Your circumstances are not permanent.Your hardships are not permanent.Your feelings are not permanent.Your emotions are not permanent.Have patience, this too shall pass."-@officialgaurangadas "Whatever you need will just happen if you keep your energies exuberant and focused."-Sadhguru Support the show

The Mahamantra can be translated as, “My Friend, My Friend, My Friend”. By chanting, we call out to Radha-Krishna and rekindle our friendship with Them. It's as simple as being true to the Holy Name. Our greatest fortune is that we have access and know about Krishna. When we perform positive, charitable actions and never stop chanting, it places us into the mindset of serving the center rather than being the center.
