When society goes through a major change like this global pandemic we're experiencing now, there's a lot of pain that comes with it. But there are also opportunities for career transformation and career changes. In today's episode, career educator and entrepreneur Misha Rubin shares some insights on how you can build a meaningful career with the unprecedented number of career possibilities that exist now.  With all the information we're taught throughout our lifetime, no one really teaches us how to search for fulfilling and meaningful careers. In the past, it was common for people to have just one career throughout their entire lives, but that's changing. It's now quite unlikely that one person will stick to one career throughout their life. Some careers even disappear or become irrelevant through time. For this reason, it's become increasingly important to know how to embrace career transformation, and carve out a meaningful career path for yourself. It's been a painful and grueling year for all of us. But where there's adversity, there's also opportunity. There are many career possibilities brought by all the innovations made in the midst of a global crisis. Industries continue to transform, and with that comes new ideas and opportunities. Employers are now more open than they were before to remote working. There's never been a better time to take leaps for your career transformation, and to start new ventures with the vast pool of information that's out there. If you're willing to learn, and are bold enough to make career changes or start your career transformation, you can carve out a meaningful career for yourself with the multiple opportunities that are available now.Ready to take that career leap? Find out more about Misha Rubin's program and visit https://thecareerleap.com --------------------CONNECT WITH PETER BOOLKAH:--------------------http://www.Boolkah.comhttps://www.facebook.com/Boolkahhttps://www.instagram.com/pboolkah/https://www.linkedin.com/in/boolkahhttps://twitter.com/boolkah--------------------ABOUT PETER BOOLKAH--------------------Hi, I'm Peter Boolkah, business coach, keynote speaker and winner of over 32 major coaching awards. I know how difficult running a business can be and how overwhelming it can feel when things aren't going right. One thing I tell my clients is never stop believing in your dreams. Even if you feel your business is wearing you down, you can always find a way to reverse the trend and get back in the game. Many of the entrepreneurs I work with are great leaders and innovators. However, their businesses lack structure, systems and management. If you don't have all these parts working in harmony, your business won't reach its potential. Whether the ultimate goal is to keep or sell your business, you want to see growth year-on-year. My transition into business coaching came after spending 15 years at McDonald's. Working for one of the world's biggest corporate brands exposed me to all aspects of business and gave me the skills and experience to establish my own company. I know that many entrepreneurs learn by trial and error, but unless you have an endless stream of capital behind you, your chance of success is rare. You often need someone experienced who can analyse your business objectively and put emotions aside when big decisions need to be made. I've been lucky enough to assist many like-minded business owners. These are people who use their success to help those less fortunate. I've found that supporting a charity, like B1G1, has given me even more motivation to succeed. It's wonderful to know that when my business is doing well, many people have the opportunity to live a better life.

Is there a whisper on your heart that is sparking you to reimagine your career path right now? Quite possibly, it's wooing you to head in a different direction and make a career shift. Well, if that's you, listen on. My special guest today is Misha Rubin and he's simplifying how to reimagine your career path as the world reopens. If you're feeling a bit stuck or stagnant in your current work… or faced with a fork in the road (should I stay or should I go), I know for a fact that “stuck-ness” can feel incredibly debilitating. The confusion, the stress, the worry - all of it is exhausting. So, if you're in this space right now or curious if there's something better for you out there, Misha helps to simplify it all down for you. Here's how.  My special guest today is Misha Rubin and he's simplifying how to reimagine your career path. We tackle and simplify all aspects of it, including: How to define “meaningful, fulfilling work” in this day in age, post pandemic What 3 questions you must ask yourself when it comes to finding new opportunities that are within your grasp right now Where do I look for them? How do I recognize them? And how come I'm not pursuing them? If you're considering a career leap, how to decide where and what to leap to next, no matter if it's the decision to close/open a business, enter/exit corporate job or something else What the 4 pillars of ‘The Career Leap' method are and how it all works Knowing (your) self Dismantling disempowering beliefs Having impactful communication, and Taking intentional actions …and ultimately, how to dismantle our disempowering beliefs of what's possible next for your career and life ahead. Misha talks about the fact that we are living in unprecedented times right now. The quarantine made remote work acceptable by most employers. There are very few geographic limitations in place, which means if you live in Tucson, you could now very easily work remotely for a New York-based company and get paid at New York level wages. Businesses are transforming and society is shifting in massive ways. And he puts forth that “there's never been an easier time than now to start a business.”  So I hope that today's conversation is a bit of a Divine Nudge for you to expand your perspective just a wee bit… and realized that it's entirely possible you have no idea just how much is possible, in your work and in your life. And let that thought be a blessing for you in the week ahead. Q: Are you ready to reimagine your career path ahead? If yes, this one is for you. It's time to #DoTheThing! ---- Show notes available with all LINKS mentioned here: https://thesimplifiers.com/podcast/misha-rubin-reimagine-your-career-path
