Welcome back listeners to JUST ANOTHER HOUR! With Jacob Barnes and Jeremy Newell. Pardon some of the background noise, my girlfriend is sick with one of our dogs recovering from an injury. Theirs a bit of coughing and blowing noses.   We do quite a bit of chatting today as we catch up with all the Blizz-Con news and events that had happened a few weeks back. We look at and talk about the Detective Pikachu trailer and Once Upon a Deadpool along with Jeremy's favorite pokemon. And sprinkle in between a few more topics like Final Fantasy XV DLC announcement and cancellations, our predictions of the N64 Classic and end the last part with our talk about the greatest man in our eyes; Stan Lee. Fils-Aime isn’t one to announce new products on the fly during an interview, but he made it sound like the window for Nintendo doing such a device is closed for now. “We were clear when we did the first two Classic series that, for us, these were limited time opportunities that were a way for us as a business to bridge from the conclusion of Wii U as a hardware system to the launch of Nintendo Switch,” he said. “That was the very strategic reason we launched the NES Classic system.” The Wii U had been fading fast by early 2016 and the Switch didn’t launch until early 2017. “So while consumers may have been anticipating something, we view these as limited time opportunities. Regular guest Mark McCue returns to the podcast, and instead of looking at a particular game, we take a look at the possibility of a Nintendo 64 Classic. Would you buy one? What games would go on it? Would it work at all? Nintendo could announce an N64 Classic at any moment, so I'm glad we got this episode out there beforehand. As the E3 excitement mounts around us, the family gathers once again to discuss video games, their most favorite of pasttimes. It was an interesting week in gaming: Detroit: Become Humanreleased, Best Buy canned their lovely Gamers Club Unlockedprogram (R.I.P.) and patents emerged suggesting Nintendo's plans for an N64 Classic Edition. Meanwhile, SEGA continues to pump out Yakuzagames and John continues to roll his eyes. The real kicker this week was Sony's CEO proclaiming that the PlayStation 4 was now entering the final phase of it's life-cycle, which we suspected but must now confront … and you know I hate confrontations.
