No money down is a way of buying, rent to rent is a way of buying, a lot of people confuse strategies, they think they’re going to do rent to rent or no money down or lease options, but actually no, what you're doing is a way of buying a property. Rent to rent is just circumventing needing a deposit, lease options are circumventing needing a deposit, we use all of those strategies within the strategy of commercial conversion. How many years have you been doing property now? December 15, 2005, was the day my life changed. The last week of that year, I met Mark up my very first property networking event and in February 2006, I started my property investing career properly working in a property company and buying with Mark. That's 13 years nearly. When was the first super conference? 2010 was our first really big event, there's a lot of people that start property training, who never really got much property and that's how progressive is different. The critics say there are too many people out there who teach but haven't done and maybe there are some, but how we're different is every strategy that we teach, we've done. Why did you stop doing the super conference? Those events got more and more expensive, like hundreds of thousands of pounds, this super conference will cost us 500 grand, half a million quid to run an event. The bigger the room, the more expensive they get. That was one thing. The second thing was we started to think if there's a cheap strike if there's a bomb scare if something goes wrong and three to six months of our marketing and our revenue are based on this one event, massive risk. The third thing was I like connecting with people, I'd prefer to speak to 100 people or 200 people than in 1400. I'm better in a smaller room. Every speaker loves the thought of the big stage, but I started to feel more disconnected. We bought our own training sweet over there, what's the point in going into massive events in London when you can do in smaller events here. What’s the main thing you're sort of excited about a product? One of them is creating multiple streams of income. We want to teach you how to create multiple streams of income. The second thing is we wanted the quickest cash flow strategies. What is the reason you give too much content without stopping? My Why is trying to earn respect and love from people and that just won't go away, I love property and I love business. Attend the 10X super conference and learn to be the best. Last year I did one of those Landmark Forum personal development courses, which, by the way, I recommend.One of the takeaways was that one should publicly declare one's goals and aspirations. In doing so, several things happen.You make yourself more accountable. Knowing that others now know your goals pushes you to take stronger action to achieve them. You thus become more committed to them. The act of public statement also solidifies goals both in your mind and in the public perception, thereby moving them beyond an abstract idea to something more concrete. The act of articulating goals also clarifies what it is you are actually looking for and may even give you new insights.Support networks can also emerge: friends, family, peers, contacts are more likely to help in some way, if they know what you are trying to achieve. They might introduce you to helpful people. Those who have been down similar paths might be able to offer advice, assistance or collaboration.You will have something to keep referring back to, better enabling you to track progress, which will further reinforce the whole thing.Finally, making such a declaration makes you vulnerable, but that is actually empowering and liberating. It reduces internal conflict; while others might empathise and want to help you for your honesty.With all this in mind, I thought I would share my New Year resolutions with you. I hope you find some interest, amusement or even motivation in them.Some are quite personal, but for reasons stated above, I've decided to post them anyway. I hope it is not TMI.I always tend to overdo it with my resolutions - reach for the sky and then, even if you fall short, you still end up pretty high.So here they are:Health, Body & Mind* Stay fit and strong. Weights two or three times a week. Something aerobic two or three times a week. Plenty of stretching. Daily deadhangs, pelvic floors, breathing and neck exercises.* Keep drinking less.* Fast once a week.* Eat more protein.* Get good at lucid dreaming. (Lucid dreams are when you are aware you are in a dream, while you dream - dreaming is something I have got very interested in of late).* Read at least 15 books. I read a fair bit, but most of it is online. I hardly seem to read actual books any more - my phone always takes priority. Put this right.* Try and do some mindfulness meditation stuff once per week.Money* Invest well and grow my net worth - and the net worth of Flying Frisby readers - by at least 20%. Rob Moore is a fourth-generation Las Vegan and noted storyteller. He is currently involved in Acquisitions and Development for Crawford Group/Green Valley Grocery. He's owned and worked with companies including Realty Holdings Group, RL Moore and Associates, Cushman and Wakefield, and Sun Commercial. He is a Past President of IREM and the previous Board of Trustees for The Springs Preserve, just to name a few. He's now the third generation within the oldest Rotary Club and has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club since the 1980s.  Rob is a swimmer, avid golfer, prankster, storyteller, and genuine friend. He learned the science of selling by watching and learning from those who came before him. His early days as a Certified Property Manager helped him discover that being a broker was actually a better fit. His career interests were always in real estate, but his community and family roots run deep.
