SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOWThis episode hits the uncomfortable reality a lot of people don't want to admit. The damage to America's global credibility did not magically disappear. Our allies are watching closely and recalculating what they can and cannot rely on.Trust between nations is not something you flip back on with a press release. Once confidence gets dented, it takes years to rebuild. Right now the United States is being stress tested on the world stage whether people want to acknowledge it or not.I'm also sounding off on the Epstein situation and why the endless spin cycle is exhausting the public's patience. People want accountability and they want answers, not another round of political tap dancing. If you've been listening but staying quiet, now is the time to speak up. Your voice matters more than you think, and silence only helps the people who are counting on you to tune out.Let me know your thoughtsWolfPackTalks@gmail.comAnd I'll take that one step further. If you say you care about democracy and the rule of law, then it's time to prove it. This is the moment to stop sitting on the sidelines and actually step up instead of just watching the political temperature keep rising. If you are against dictatorship, if you are against fascism, and if you are fed up with the Trump and MAGA chaos, then the WOLF organization was built for you. What if the traits we celebrate as “strong” are quietly burning us out? This episode digs into the subtle mechanics of internalised misogyny—the invisible scripts that tell women to do it all, to be easy to please, to hide emotion, and to downplay anything coded as feminine. We unpack how those scripts shape friendships, work, money, and boundaries, and why the praise for being “low maintenance” often masks a refusal to value women's time and labour.I share candid stories from recent years—being judged for sexual expression, having femininity dismissed as unserious, and learning to spot projections early. We look at the trust gap between women, how competition and comparison take hold, and what to do when evidence seems to confirm “you can't trust women.” Rather than withdraw into isolation, we explore discernment: noticing the patterns in ourselves and others, naming unfair dynamics, and choosing relationships with real reciprocity. That means raising standards without shaming, offering grace without abandoning ourselves, and refusing the invisible job of emotional manager. You'll hear concrete cues to watch for—haggling with women but not men, calling boundaries “too much,” labelling emotion as weakness—and practical ways to respond. We talk about valuing feminine aesthetics without apology, charging fairly for women's work, and supporting those who speak up even when truth is uncomfortable. Healing sisterhood wounds is possible when we invest in safe, secure connections, set clear limits, and honour the full spectrum of womanhood—softness and fire included. If this resonates, share it with a friend who's ready to unlearn old scripts. A Renascentist Method for making billions 1. Florence. Francesco Guicciardini just lost everything: he backed the Medici, they fell, he was left with no power. But he knew something few understand: time works in favor of those who WAIT in the right place.Guicciardini wrote: "Chi sa aspettare, il tempo gli apre ogni porta" — He who knows how to wait, time opens every door for him. It's not luck. It's POSITIONING. You place yourself where time MULTIPLIES, not where it ERODES.Take the Brazilian Treasury IPCA+ 2033: ~12% per annum. Compound. Investment grade. $100k becomes $248k in 8 years. Your U.S. advisor? 4.5%. That's $142k**. The difference? **$106k. Guicciardini would say: "Aspetta nel posto giusto" — Wait in the RIGHT place. The majority gets it wrong: they change positions every year, chase hype, lose on fees. Guicciardini lost political power but died RICH. Why? TIME + CORRECT POSITION = Inevitable. If you have capital sitting idle earning 4-5%, you're in the WRONG place. Time is working AGAINST you. There's a way to live that squanders pain while your heart hardens and your trust thins. Things like numbing, retelling the wound, and calling it wisdom. This week on Win Today, Shawn Johnson, lead pastor of Red Rocks Church and author of Attacking Anxiety, joins me to explore how people waste pain and how to steward the middle seasons when nothing seems to be moving, but everything inside you is being formed. We draw the line between rest and peace, why bitterness and distrust grow in the same soil, and how to turn waiting into worship without pretending the ache away. If you're stuck in the middle, angry at the delay, or exhausted from managing outcomes, this conversation will help you regain your presence and cultivate a hard-won hope that lasts. Guest Bio Shawn Johnson is the lead pastor and co-founder of Red Rocks Church (Denver, multi-site), and the author of Attacking Anxiety, where he chronicles his own fight with anxiety and depression and the practices that helped him rebuild. His ministry blends candor about suffering with a relentless call to faith and formation. Today isn't about his résumé; it's about your next faithful step in the middle. Another day, another masterclass in awkward honesty courtesy of The Rizzuto Show. This week, the crew dives into the eternal mystery: how the hell do you actually know if someone's into you? Spoiler: apparently it involves secret triangles with your eyes, unnecessary elbow touching, and maybe staring at lips like a weirdo?! But the real highlight? Lern hits us with a story about her mom letting one rip right in front of her at a girl's weekend — and not the “oops, blame the chair squeak” kind. Nope, the kind that makes you reconsider ever making eye contact with your parent again. Listen now and prepare to be blown away… hopefully not the same way Lern was. Good morning, Radiant! Mike Young is teaching today. Continuing "Summer of Wisdom" in Proverbs: wisdom is rooted in fear of the Lord, fueled by a teachable spirit, and avoiding foolishness. Today: the incredible power of our words.Scripture References: Proverbs 18:21, Proverbs (various), Matthew 12:33-37, James 3, Romans 8:9-11, Romans 10:9-10, Proverbs 6:16-19, Proverbs 11:13, Proverbs 16:28, Proverbs 12:18, Proverbs 15:1, Proverbs 28:23, Proverbs 16:24, Proverbs 25:11, Proverbs 15:4, Proverbs 10:19, Proverbs 17:28Key Points:Words: Weapon & Divine Reflection:Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."Our words, unique to humans, reflect God's image. He spoke creation; we wield similar power.Every word carries spiritual weight: fostering flourishing or destruction. Reckless speech yields bad "fruit"; Spirit-led words bring peace.Words' Source (Matthew 12):Jesus: "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matt 12:34). Words perfectly mirror our heart.Bitter hearts speak cutting words; Spirit-filled hearts speak grace.Jesus warns: "Account for every careless word" (Matt 12:36).Jesus' "harsh" words (e.g., "brood of vipers") were perfectly aimed to expose hypocrisy, unlike our own. He perfectly tamed His tongue.Proverbs on Speech: Death-Bringing:Lying (Prov 12:22): Erodes trust.Gossip/Slander (Prov 11:13): Destroys relationships.Hasty (Prov 29:20): Causes irreversible damage.Contentious (Prov 15:1): Escalates conflict.Flattery (Prov 28:23): Insincere praise entraps.Proverbs on Speech: Life-Giving:Truthful (Prov 12:19): Established forever.Gracious (Prov 16:24): "Like honeycomb, sweetness to the soul."Well-timed (Prov 25:11): Precious, beautiful.Comforting/Gentle (Prov 15:4): Bring healing; "a gentle tongue is a tree of life."Restraint (Prov 17:28): "Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise." Silence can be powerful.Words Shape Eternity:We can't perfectly tame our tongues; only Jesus did. He lives in us!Rom 10:9-10: mouth confession saves. Rom 8:9-11: Spirit in us gives life.God gives us words to proclaim the Gospel, bringing others from death to life. More than avoiding negative speech, actively bringing God's Kingdom. Conclusion:Our words hold incredible power. We're imperfect, but Jesus, the living Word, perfectly tamed His tongue to bring life, even through death. We now partake in His "fruit."Call to Action:At the table, confess foolishness/death-bringing words. Ask God for His ways. Then, stop talking and listen for His voice. Let the Holy Spirit transform your mouth to proclaim good news and bring life. Support the show*Summaries and transcripts are generated using AI. Please notify us if you find any errors.

In recent years, political discourse in the United States has become increasingly polarized, with both sides of the aisle often engaging in heated debates that can sometimes escalate into outright vitriol. This phenomenon has been particularly magnified by the influence of media personalities who do not shy away from provocative and polarizing commentary. Among these figures, right-wing commentators Tucker Carlson and Glenn Beck stand out for their significant impact on the tone and direction of political conversation across the country. The growing concern over the nature of political discourse is shared by many, including figures like Curran, who laments the aggressive rhetoric employed by personalities such as Carlson and Beck. These commentators have cultivated a style that often emphasizes division, presenting political issues in stark, us-versus-them terms. This approach has resonated with large sections of the American public, earning them substantial followings, but has also contributed to widening the gap between opposing political viewpoints.Britton echoes this sentiment, indicating that the level of vitriol present in today's political conversations is alarming. The issue is not merely the existence of strong opinions or passionate debate; these are long-standing features of democratic discourse. Rather, it's the manner in which these opinions are presented and argued, often devoid of respect for differing viewpoints and sometimes crossing into personal attacks, that raises concern. The impact of such vitriolic political discourse is profound. It has the potential to undermine the very foundations of democratic engagement by discouraging meaningful dialogue and compromise. When political opponents are demonized, it becomes exceedingly difficult to find common ground or work together to address the complex challenges facing society. Instead of debates that could lead to synthesized solutions, the public sphere becomes an arena for conflict, where the goal is to defeat the other side rather than to collaborate for the common good. Moreover, the approach taken by commentators like Carlson and Beck can contribute to the radicalization of political views. Constant exposure to one-sided arguments that paint the other side as not just wrong, but as a threat to the nation, can lead individuals down a path of increasing extremism. This situation is dangerous not only for the fabric of democracy but for the safety and unity of society as a whole. In response to these challenges, there are calls from various quarters for a return to a more respectful and constructive political dialogue. This would involve media personalities, politicians, and the public engaging in discussions that prioritize facts, acknowledge complexity, and respect the humanity and good intentions of those with differing views. Achieving such a shift is no small task, given the entrenched nature of current practices and the economic incentives that drive sensationalist media. However, for the sake of democracy and the well-being of society, it's an endeavor worth pursuing. As the nation grapples with numerous challenges, from economic hardship to social justice issues, the need for a more productive political discourse has never been more apparent. In moving forward, the hope is that influential voices within the media landscape can lead by example, fostering discussions that bridge divides rather than deepen them. In doing so, they would not only contribute to healing the political rifts that have emerged but also help in steering the country towards a more united and constructive future.

According to the Associated Press, North Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson has hired a law firm to investigate a CNN report alleging he made explicit racial and sexual posts on a pornography website's message board, which Robinson calls “false smears.” The report has sparked concerns among Republicans, with some urging Robinson to address the claims quickly to avoid losing support. The Republican Governors Association has withdrawn its backing, and key staffers have resigned. CNN reported Robinson made inflammatory posts praising Hitler, criticizing Martin Luther King Jr., and expressing controversial views. Meanwhile, Ford's education minister, Jill Dunlop, also slammed what she called “activist” public school teachers, who she said compromised student safety and breached the trust of the parents who had signed permission forms. The event in question involved 15 public schools, which brought students to the annual Grassy Narrows River Run on Sept. 18. The rally and march spreads awareness about the First Nation community in remote Northwestern Ontario that has spent decades fighting for justice after a local factory poisoned their water system with mercury. But parents have reported that a few teachers with a pro-Palestine agenda used the event to spread their own message about a totally separate issue: the Middle East conflict. In videos posted online, they can be seen using a megaphone to lead their students in chanting anti-Israel slogans; some participants in the event are wearing keffiyehs, and carrying banners calling for "From Wabigoon (the lake near Grassy Narrows) to the Dead Sea, We will all be free." Shelley Laskin is a school board trustee who represents the heavily Jewish Ward 8 (Eglinton-Lawrence and Toronto-St. Paul's). Laskin joins The CJN Daily to explain why she demanded a special public school board meeting be held this Wednesday, Sept. 25, to look into the incident that “erodes the public trust” in Canada's largest school board. You may have seen the story first reported by the Duluth News Tribune: A boy discovered historic human remains on the shore of Lake Superior near the Scandia Cemetery next to Glensheen Mansion in Duluth. The bones were uncovered through the process of erosion along the shoreline. Erosion is a serious issue for cemeteries along bodies of water and it is tricky to figure out who is responsible for keeping human remains in place at these historic sites. Minnesota State archeologist Amanda Gronhovd joined MPR News host Cathy Wurzer to share the next steps for the Scandia Cemetery.

In this episode, Alex starts by reacting to Trump's new grift that involves selling a $60 bible that is called the “God Bless the USA Bible,” it is inspired by the country singer Lee Greenwood's song “God Bless the USA.” The bible also includes the bill of rights, national anthem, and more, and completely melds politics with religion. Later, Alex breaks down the current security dilemma that is unfolding in Haiti as anarchy is currently unfolding even in historically stable parts of the capital, Port-au-Prince. In 2021, Haiti's president was assasinated, and since this event, gangs have used this power vaccum to seize power, delegitimize the unelected leader in power, polarize the population, wreck havoc on civil society, and hold a mirror up to the corrupt politics of the country. As foreign governments try to find solutions to the issue, policing has been replaced with mob violence and vigilantism. Alex goes through the last thirty years of Haitian politics and struggle to try to understand how the situation can be alleviated.

Fraternal Order of Police National Vice President Joe Gamaldi takes aim at President Joe Biden over his recent speech, where he said police officers always shoot with deadly force. Gamaldi comments that Biden's comments are, “not helpful.” Saying, Biden's speech is “just inflammatory rhetoric set to get an emotional response from the audience, that is not based in fact.” The Vice President of the largest police union in the United States goes on to explain that, “we know that officers use force to stop a threat, we are not out here purposely trying to use deadly force every single time as [Biden] put it in that speech, and it is extremely harmful to us. It erodes the trust that we're trying to build with our communities when you make comments like that.” Commenting, “and here's another thing that really upsets every single police officer in this country, is that what we're really asking the President to do, is how about you condemn the violence against law enforcement, the historic violence we're seeing, how about you just put out a statement saying it's wrong to shoot a police officer, it's wrong to assault a police officer. It is an extremely low bar to just ask to put out a statement condemning historic violence against law enforcement, and the White House just refuses to do it.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
