Luckily, we have found some gems for you.  Classics on BBC iPlayer like Inside No 9 (although Jeff will be a bit more weary of showing this entertainment to unsuspecting members of his family in future – full story revealed on the show), and other BBC gems you might have missed like Avoidance and Life After Life.  From Sky / Now TV we all rave about Peacemaker, James Gunn on top form, the latest version of The Midwich Cuckoo's (especially heartening for Graham who is a big John Wyndham fan) and the latest series of Barry, which Jeff called the highlight of the year so far.  There is just so much quality entertainment out there on all the streaming channels, from Slow Horses (Apple), The Boys (Prime), The Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix) to She-Hulk (Disney).  Then there is the burning question – are you team Dragon or team Rings?  The big fantasy shows go to head to head.  Get our verdict here. How about that as a starter?  There is much, much more available on the show.  And this can be seen as a warmup.  Dec's Halloween streaming selection is coming very shortly. Dragon on The Couch: The Dragon watched Star 80 (Rent), the final Bob Fosse film. She didn't enjoy it as the main character was an abhorrent piece of shit. Next, she watched the 2nd episode of She-Hulk (Disney +), which she enjoyed significantly more than last week's and is looking forward to the next episode. She also finished Only Murders in the Building: Season 2 (Hulu). She really enjoyed the second season and really likes how the actors play off of each other.   Berto on the Bed: Berto watched Trainwreck: Woodstock 99 (Netflix), he loved the documentary and felt that it was very well made with great interviews. Next he watched Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage (HBO), which he thought was not a good documentary as it seemed to focus on things he thought were silly. Next, Berto watched Samaritan (Prime), a superhero movie starring Sylvester Stallone. He thought it was very paint by numbers, but an ok movie. Next he watched the entirety of What We Do In The Shadows (Hulu), the TV show based about a documentary crew following vampires. He absolutely loved it and raved about how great it was. Next, Berto watched Source Code (HBO), a Duncan Jones directed sci-fi film that he thought was very good. Next, he watched Licorice Pizza (Prime), a Paul Thomas Anderson film. He loved it, but felt that the story is ruined by the final kiss at the end. Finally, Berto watched Transporter 3 (HBO), which he thought was a decent action film that is made relevant by the charisma… and abs of Jason Statham.   Dragon at the Movies: This week's deep dive is the 2002 action film Blade II, currently streaming on HBO Max.

Because the She-Hulk Disney+ series is set to release soon, we thought it would be fun to do a little pregame reading and talking about the character and her comics. Between the two of us, we've read a variety of She-Hulk comics in our lifetimes, and several specifically for this podcast. The comics discussed in this episode include her very first appearance by Stan Lee and John Buscema, early issues of the John Byrne run, part of the Dan Slott run, the first part of the Charles Soule and Javier Pulido run, the entire Mariko Tamaki run, and Jason Aaron's World War She-Hulk storyarc from his Avengers run. As you can see, it's a veritable smorgasbord of She-Hulk comics. Most of these comics didn't feel like they warranted the depth of discussion and analysis that we often like to engage in on our podcast, but we also talk about the concept of the character, and what works and doesn't work.
