Dabei hatten sie noch kurz zuvor einen schönen Abend verbracht, bis Kleo mitten in der Nacht aufbrach. Doch warum sollte eine lebensfrohe junge Frau einfach spurlos verschwinden? Und welche Verbindung hat sie zu dem Mann, der ihr Verschwinden jetzt meldet? Was zunächst wie eine rätselhafte Vermisstensache wirkt, entwickelt sich rasant zu einer Ermittlungsarbeit, die ein verhängnisvolles Liebesviereck zu Tage fördert. Kleo Staffel 2, anschaubar auf Netflix. Keine neue Hypefolge? Ja, ganz richtig erkannt, wir haben da etwas getauscht! Aus gutem Grund ziehen wir diese Specialfolge vor. Wir durften nämlich endlich mal wieder einen ganz wundervollen Gast begrüßen, nämlich Marco vom Podcast „Flimmerkiste mit Marco“. In unserer “48# Dreierfolge – du dumme Sau” war er bereits mit dabei und wir sind ganz happy, dass wir auch die zweite Staffel mit ihm zusammen besprechen konnten! Wie uns diese zweite Staffel begeistert und welche Gefühle sie bei uns hinterlässt, hört ihr in dieser Folge. Da spricht er kein Wort Deutsch, macht später Abitur, nimmt unvoreingenommen an einer Aufnahmeprüfung teil und lässt sich zum Schauspieler ausbilden. DIE ZEIT nennt ihn einen der vielversprechendsten Bühnenmenschen seiner Generation, allein im Berliner Maxim Gorki Theater absolvierte er als ehemaliges Ensemblemitglied in 10 Jahren über 1.000 Vorstellungen. Aber die Bühne wich in den letzten Jahren immer häufiger den Kameras und Monitoren, sehr zur Freude eines größeren Publikums. Netflix hat sein kommendes Programm vorgestellt. Bei der Content Show drehte sich alles um Filmen und Serien aus Deutschland. Denn Katja Hofem, verantwortlich für die Netflix-Produktionen im deutschsprachigen Raum, glaubt daran, dass tolle Geschichten aus jeder Region kommen können. Ob das stimmt, wird sich zeigen, wenn mit CROOKS die erste neue Serie Anfang April an den Start geht. Im Laufe des Jahres folgen dann noch CASSANDRA und ACHTSAM MORDEN. Weiter geht's mit neuen Staffeln von KLEO und DIE KAISERIN. Per Videobotschaft von Maximilian Mundt kam die Info, dass wider Erwarten auch HOW TO SELL DRUGS ONLINE (FAST) fortgesetzt wird. Noch bis nächstes Jahr warten müssen wir allerdings auf den Film BRICK, denn Matthias Schweighöfer und seiner Freundin Ruby O. Fee stecken noch mitten in den Dreharbeiten, von wo sie eine Grußbotschaft in das Berliner Kino geschickt haben, in dem auch Mel saß. Insbesondere den Non-Fiction-Bereich werde man im kommenden Jahr stärker ausbauen, so Wiebke Schodder, Non-Fiction-Direktorin DACH bei Netflix. Dazu zählen die immer beliebter werdende True-Crime-Sparte, sowie die Rubrik der Stars und Sternchen. Letztere waren beim Next on Netflix Event zahlreich vertreten. Die Influencerinnen und Content Creatoren wurden von Shirin David und den Kaulitz-Zwillingen überrascht, die jeweils ihre eigene Doku-Serien vorgestellt haben – auch wenn Bill seinen Bruder Tom immer noch davon überzeugen will, dass KAULITZ & KAULITZ eigentlich eine Reality-Show ist. Echte Trash-TV Fans können sich auf eine neue Staffel TOO HOT TO HANDLE freuen. Mit LOVE IS BLIND: GERMANY holt man außerdem die erfolgreichste Reality-IP von Netflix nach Deutschland. Aber braucht man dafür wirklich Netflix? Mel und Daniel freuen sich auf jeden Fall auf das ein oder andere Programm-Highlight und geben euch Tipps, was ihr sonst noch so gucken könntet, bis Bada Binge nach einer kleinen Pause in ca. 2 Wochen zurück ist.

Wenn Netflix einlädt, gibt es eine große Show. So auch beim Event “Next-on-Netflix” das fast schon zur jährlichen Tradition wird. In Berlin waren auch die Serienjunkies Hanna und Adam im Publikum und haben sich das Tamtam gegeben. Ob Bill und Tom Kaulitz, Shirin David und Serien wie Cassandra, Crooks und Achtsam Morden so viel Potential haben wie die angeblichen Hits Die Kaiserin, Kleo, How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) oder Liebes Kind wird genauso besprochen wie die Eindrücke der neuen Doku-Formate und Reality-Adaptionen für Deutschland, darunter Love is Blind und Too Hot to Handle Germany und Filmprojekte wie Brick oder Beverly Hills Cop 4.Zudem gab es auch ausgewählte internationale Highlights mit Fortsetzungen von Bridgerton, Squid Game und dem baldigen Neustarts 3 Body Problem. Zum Ende der Folge vergleichen wir dann auch noch die aktuellen Trends bei den großen Streamingplatzhirschen und geben einen Überblick über die Lage der deutschen Seriennation.
