The George Cross Falcons Community Club is situated ten minutes outside Wollongong and forty minutes from Liverpool. The Club was built in 1951 to serve the Maltese people arriving from Malta in the 1950's and 1960's settling in the Illawarra region, working at the steel works. Today the club is thriving assisting an ageing Maltese community with second and third generation Maltese involved in club activities.
