Many people only take between 600 to 2000 IUs of vitamin D each day. Did you know that 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 is only .25 mg? Vitamin D is the most important vitamin. It controls 10% of your genetics. Over 90% of the population has less than 40 ng per mL of vitamin D3 in their blood. The guidelines of 600 IUs of vitamin D3 are based on preventing rickets, supporting bone health, and managing calcium in the blood, not for the countless other functions of vitamin D. Low vitamin D levels are caused by people staying indoors, location, skin color, and other lifestyle and genetic factors. Usually, your body should form a clot, fix the hole in the artery, then dissolve the clot, but this doesn't always happen.Clots can be caused by the following:•Smoking•Pollution/chemicals•Alcohol•Birth control pills •Stress•Surgery•Endurance sports•Refined starches•Infection•High blood sugar•InflammationExcess calcium in the arteries can also trigger clotting, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Postmenopausal women who take large amounts of calcium are at a much greater risk for blood clots. Calcium is involved in over 15 different clotting factors. Vitamin K2 prevents calcium from building up in the soft tissues and arteries. It is found in dairy, butter, and other fatty foods. Always take vitamin D with vitamin K2. Vitamin D toxicity is very rare and typically involves too much calcium in the blood. Even Dr. Bruce Hollis, a pioneer in vitamin D research, has never personally seen a case of vitamin D toxicity. To develop vitamin D toxicity, you'd have to consume hundreds of thousands of IUs of vitamin D3 for months! Vitamin D needs magnesium to function properly in the body. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you need. Magnesium prevents vascular calcification, the main problem associated with vitamin D toxicity. The vitamin D receptor is dependent on zinc. Like magnesium, your zinc requirements increase when you take vitamin D. Zinc deficiency symptoms include an altered sense of taste and smell, acne, flaky skin, and lowered testosterone. When you increase your vitamin D intake, you'll need more vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps prevent the buildup of calcium and also helps to drive calcium into the bones and teeth. The active form of vitamin A, called retinol, is also an important cofactor for vitamin D. Vitamin A receptors sometimes bind with vitamin D receptors as a complex. Vitamin A also helps keep calcium out of your arteries. Always take vitamin D3, not D2. Vitamin D2 is less potent and is typically synthetic. Avoid synthetic vitamin D3 supplements and supplements with fillers such as maltodextrin or glucose syrup. Leafy greens, chocolate, certain nuts, and pumpkin seeds are the best food sources of magnesium. When choosing a supplement, look for magnesium glycinate. The best food sources of zinc are red meat and shellfish. If you take a zinc supplement, consume it in a blend with other trace minerals. For every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 that you take, you'll need 100 mcg of vitamin K2. MK7 is the best form. Vitamin K2 is found in high-quality grass-fed butter, kimchi, sauerkraut, grass-fed beef, and eggs. It's best to get your vitamin A from food. Vitamin D is the most important vitamin! It's a fat-soluble vitamin involved in 10% of our genetics. Vitamin D won't work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you'll need. Some negative side effects associated with vitamin D, such as nausea, heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and headaches, are actually symptoms of a magnesium deficiency. Don't take vitamin D without the important cofactor, vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium, but you need vitamin K2 to drive it into the bones and teeth to keep it out of the soft tissues. Vitamin K2 is best for calcium buildup. Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3. Zinc is another important cofactor that helps you convert cholesterol into vitamin D. If you're taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D, you should also take 20 mg of zinc. One of the biggest vitamin D mistakes is not taking enough! You need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day. Vitamin D2 does not work like vitamin D3. The vitamin D detected in the blood is not the active form. This means you could have normal blood levels of vitamin D but still have vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin K2 removes calcium from your arteries and other soft tissues and puts it into the bone where it belongs. In this video, we're going to discuss the health benefits of vitamin K2 and how it can be used to clean your arteries, prevent heart attacks, and keep you healthy! Vitamin K2 deficiency can lead to soft tissue calcification, bone corrosion, osteoporosis, and cavities. You can get vitamin K2 from the diet, or you can make it from vitamin K1 in the gut. Natto (fermented soybeans) is the food with the most vitamin K2. Eel, goose liver, chicken liver, and beef liver also contain a significant amount of vitamin K2. Butter and cheese from grass-fed animals, salami, pork chops, and fermented vegetables contain small amounts of vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 can clean your arteries naturally, yet it's found in fatty foods that we've been told to avoid! Because it's a fat-soluble vitamin, you may have trouble absorbing it if you don't have a gallbladder or you have a bad liver. You need plenty of healthy microbes to convert vitamin K1 to vitamin K2. B. subtilis is the primary microbe responsible for this conversion. Only 30% of the population has this microbe in their gut because it's very easily destroyed when you consume broad-spectrum antibiotics. Without B. subtilis and vitamin K2 foods, you're at risk for developing calcification in the arteries. Antibiotics, steroids, PPIs, antacids, glyphosate from GMO foods, alcohol, junk food, liver disease, high-sugar diets, and blood thinners destroy the gut's ability to make vitamin K2. Low-fat diets can also put you at risk for a vitamin K2 deficiency. Vitamin K2 is dependent on magnesium. Together, magnesium and vitamin K2 can help clean your arteries and remove calcium deposits from your soft tissues. There are two kinds of vitamin K2: MK4 (synthetic) and MK7 (natural). Try taking 100 mcg of MK7 vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3.

Let's take a look at them, starting with the worst. 1. The worst magnesium - Magnesium oxide is the worst yet most common magnesium supplement. It only has a 4% absorption rate. It's also very expensive! 2. Magnesium sulfate has a 10% absorption rate and a high laxative effect. It may help relax your muscles superficially. 3. Magnesium orotate has a 15% absorption rate. This form of magnesium can penetrate the cell and increase energy. Magnesium orotate also works as an antioxidant and supports the DNA. 4. Magnesium taurate has a 20% absorption rate and supports heart health, blood pressure, and the nervous system. 5. Magnesium lactate has a 25% absorption rate and is more gentle on the GI system. It supports the cardiovascular system and can improve energy. Magnesium lactate is often used topically, which may be beneficial for your muscles. 6. Magnesium citrate has a 30% absorption rate. It can help prevent kidney stones and is good for cardiovascular issues and blood pressure. It can also help with detoxification. 7. Magnesium malate has a 40% absorption rate. Today, I'm going to tell you how to prevent hypertension and how to get rid of it if you already have it. Around 95% of high blood pressure is classified as essential high blood pressure, which means the cause is unknown. Around 20% of the time, hypertensive medication doesn't work because blood pressure is just a symptom of an underlying problem! If you treat a symptom and don't address the root cause, you're only camouflaging the problem. Vitamin D deficiency can cause hypertension. Your body's water pressure control system runs higher if you're low in vitamin D, causing vasoconstriction in the arteries and increasing blood pressure. When this system goes up, it also causes sodium retention. More sodium and more water mean higher blood pressure. Potassium protects against excess sodium, but most people don't get enough. You need 4700 mg daily. The risk of high blood pressure goes up during the winter when vitamin D is lower due to lower sun exposure. If you have darker skin, you're at an increased risk of high blood pressure and vitamin D deficiency. Genetic high blood pressure problems are usually associated with a genetic problem with vitamin D. Insulin resistance is also connected to high blood pressure. If you eat a lot of carbs or snacks frequently, you may develop insulin resistance, a precursor for high blood glucose and the root cause of many chronic health concerns, including a fatty liver, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and belly fat. If there's too much calcium in your arteries, they can become stiff, increasing your blood pressure. Vitamin K2 can help direct calcium to the bone and teeth. It's also vital that you have enough magnesium to prevent calcium buildup and clotting. High blood pressure is typically treated with calcium channel blockers and beta blockers. Magnesium may act as a natural calcium channel blocker and beta blocker. Try the following 4 things to lower blood pressure naturally: 1. 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D daily 2. 800 mg of magnesium glycinate daily 3. Low-carb diet 4. Increase potassium intake

In this podcast, we're going to talk about vitamin D toxicity. If you take high doses of vitamin D3, you may experience some symptoms. It is more likely that you're experiencing symptoms of a vitamin K2 or magnesium deficiency rather than vitamin D toxicity symptoms. Magnesium deficiency is incredibly common. If you're not taking enough magnesium while you're taking vitamin D, you may begin to notice the following “vitamin D toxicity symptoms”: • Irritability • Insomnia • Constipation • Fatigue • Muscle spasms/cramps • Calcium buildup • Arrhythmia Coincidentally, these are also symptoms of low magnesium and low vitamin K2. There are case studies involving vitamin D toxicity; however, the subjects did not take vitamin K2 or magnesium. In many cases, they were taking vitamin D2 rather than vitamin D3. You don't want to take calcium when testing for vitamin D toxicity because one of the symptoms of vitamin D toxicity is hypercalcemia or too much calcium in the blood. According to Wikipedia, some symptoms of vitamin D toxicity are due to vitamin K depletion. Vitamin K2 is essential to prevent calcium buildup in the soft tissues. Vitamin D helps increase calcium absorption in the small intestine by 20 times. Therapeutic doses of vitamin D can be beneficial for many health conditions. The Mayo Clinic only recommends 600 IU of vitamin D when 30 to 40 minutes of sunlight provides about 20,000 IU of vitamin D3. Therapeutic doses of vitamin D can be especially beneficial for autoimmune conditions. Dr. Coimbra from Brazil utilizes a vitamin D protocol involving up to 200,000 IU. If you're taking vitamin D supplements, also take magnesium and vitamin K2. You also want to ensure adequate boron, zinc, and vitamin A intake. In this video, I'm going to show you how to make natural toothpaste to help eliminate tartar and prevent it from coming back. Tartar is a calcified, pale, yellow, hard substance that accumulates on your teeth. It can lead to gingivitis as well as bad breath. Tartar is made up of a colony of bacteria that survives in something called a biofilm. Biofilms contain bacteria, fungi, yeast, and candida. Tartar biofilms ferment carbohydrates in your mouth and release lactic acid, which can leach away your calcium and cause cavities. Many ancient cultures used natural toothpaste, but these recipes were very abrasive and wore down the teeth. This homemade toothpaste recipe is far more gentle yet still effective at removing plaque. To make this toothpaste, combine the following ingredients: •3 drops of either clove oil, peppermint oil, or cinnamon oil, or a pinch of turmeric powder •¼ teaspoon hydrogen peroxide •¼ teaspoon baking soda •¼ teaspoon raw honey or manuka honey •½ cup water Mix these ingredients and brush your teeth with the mixture using a soft bristle toothbrush twice per day. Vitamin K2 has also shown promising results in removing and preventing tartar buildup. Today, we're going to take a look at vitamin D. Every cell and tissue in your body has receptors for vitamin D. However, there is still no medical consensus on what vitamin D deficiency is. Many people are deficient in vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency can negatively affect your immune function and can cause inflammatory conditions like arthritis, autoimmune disease, depression, and high blood pressure. Vitamin D toxicity is very rare. Symptoms of vitamin D toxicity mirror the symptoms of vitamin K2 deficiency. This poses the question—do you have too much vitamin D or just not enough vitamin K2? Vitamin K2 is intricately involved with the transportation of calcium, while vitamin D helps with the absorption of calcium from your gut into your blood. Vitamin K2 keeps calcium out of your soft tissues and strengthens your bones. A lot of the confusion surrounding the RDA of vitamin D has to do with its measurement—international units. An international unit is an arbitrary number agreed on by some committee, and the amount varies from vitamin to vitamin. For example, one international unit of vitamin E is not the same as one international unit of vitamin A. Several factors affect the absorption of vitamin D: •Skin color •Age •Weight •Insulin resistance •Stress level •Genetics •Geographical location •Season •Gut health •Liver health •Gallbladder health or removal Vitamin D is intimately involved in the immune system and plays a crucial role in the function of Helper T cells. Helper T cells prevent our immune systems from harming our own tissues. If you have issues with your Helper T cells, you could potentially develop an autoimmune disease. Let's talk about the potential benefits of taking vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 at the same time. Vitamin K2 and vitamin D3 work closely together. Vitamin D3 supports the absorption of calcium in the small intestines. Vitamin K2 takes calcium from the blood and transports it to the bones and teeth. It also activates a protein that keeps calcium out of the arteries, joints, and other areas of the body where it shouldn't be. Vitamin K2 has many additional potential benefits, from supporting healthy blood sugar levels to improving wrinkles. Animal fats are a great source of the MK4 version of vitamin K2. A different form of vitamin K2, called MK7, comes from bacteria in foods like cheese and fermented foods. People who cut fatty foods from their diet are at risk for a vitamin K2 deficiency. Foods high in vitamin K2: • Grass-fed butter and ghee • Hard and soft cheeses • Egg yolks • Goose liver, chicken liver, and beef liver • Hot dogs • Salmon If someone chooses to take a vitamin K2 supplement, they may want to consider the MK7 version. For every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3, I suggest taking 100 MCG of vitamin K2.
