Steve House serves as the managing director, coach, and official mascot of Uphill Athlete, which he co-founded in 2016. He lives in a remote and mountainous corner of Austria with his wife and two sons.Steve's biggest coaching challenge was coaching himself. Which was successful enough for him to be called “The greatest climber of his generation” by none other than Reinhold Messner. He was inspired to write down what he learned and originally recruited two other coaches to help him write Training for the New Alpinism while recovering from a near-life-ending fall in 2010. He then co-authored  Training for the Uphill Athlete (2018) to fulfill his personal mission to “Teach conventional endurance training theory and practice to mountain athletes.” He retired from professional climbing at the end of 2020 to dedicate himself to family and work full-time on Uphill Athlete.Steve's most famous ascent is the 4,500-meter-high Rupal Face, the world's biggest mountain wall, which culminates at the summit of the world's deadliest and 9th-highest mountain: Nanga Parbat. In this episode, we talk with Steve about his career, Uphill Athlete's approach to coaching, and the overlap between mountain athletes and special operators. More about Steve and Uphill Athlete:You can learn more about Uphill Athlete at their website, uphillathlete.com. And you can follow them on social media here:Uphill Athlete Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/uphill_athlete/Steve's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stevehouse10/Timestamps:00:00:22 Introduction to Steve House 00:01:47 What is Significant about Nanga Parbat, "The Naked Mountain"00:06:51 Grading the Technical Difficulty of Climbing00:11:18 The "American Certified International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations" Guide 00:15:23 Overlap Between Climbing and Special Operations Communities00:18:00 Similarities and Differences Between the Communities00:30:32 Uphill Athlete Training Mistake 00:40:37 Base Building Meaning and Development00:42:44 Aerobic Threshold to Regulate Training00:51:00 Building Aerobic Volume00:58:59 What to Prioritize During Training01:02:09 Misunderstanding V02 Max in Training01:09:13 Ventilatory Threshold Breakpoint01:15:10 Ten Athletes, Ten Results01:18:03 What's Next for Uphill Athlete?01:21:23 Best and Worst Advice Ever Received01:23:44 Book Recommendations01:24:59 Outro

Don't just listen, call in with your perspective at 303-477-5600 or text to 307-200-8222 Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm MT. Hour 1 launches with host John Rush, joined by Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House, for a fast-moving, hard-hitting conversation on health, public trust, and rising national tensions. Why are colorectal cancer rates climbing among younger Americans—and are key factors being ignored? The panel questions pandemic-era decisions, healthcare accountability, and whether institutions will ever admit costly mistakes. The discussion then pivots to a disturbing trend: healthcare workers allegedly posting political threats online. What happens when medical ethics collide with political division? And how cautious must Americans now be—even inside a doctor's office—about what they say? Listeners are left with urgent questions: Are professional standards slipping under political pressure? Can free speech and personal liberty survive growing cultural conflict? And what happens if accountability disappears? If you want bold conversations that challenge headlines and ask what others won't, this hour sets the tone for the rest of the show. HOUR 2 Hour 2 of Rush To Reason dives headfirst into the national debate over immigration enforcement, political unrest, and everyday freedoms. Host John Rush welcomes Ammon Blair of the Texas Public Policy Foundation https://www.texaspolicy.com), who breaks down how activist groups and political narratives shape public perception around ICE operations and border enforcement. Why do protests erupt even when authorities shut down human trafficking networks? And are federal and state leaders prepared for escalating tensions? The hour then pivots to listener-driven debate on government spending, vehicle policies, and personal choice, as Rush challenges criticism over law enforcement using large SUVs and Americans driving trucks or EVs. Is the real fight about environmental impact—or about freedom versus government control? With heated caller exchanges and strong opinions, the hour leaves listeners asking: who decides how Americans live, drive, and secure their communities? And what happens when policy debates collide with real-world needs? Guest Timestamps * Ammon Blair — 1:08 HOUR 3 Hour 3 brings John Rush together with Jerzee Joe (https://www.jerzeejoe.com), blending humor, headlines, and hard policy questions. The hour opens with cultural commentary and concerns about declining civic knowledge before pivoting to major Colorado gun legislation proposals that could expand red flag laws, regulate firearm components, and potentially limit ownership. Are lawmakers protecting citizens—or creating new constitutional concerns? Joe and John also challenge public perceptions about policing, comparing the rarity of questionable police shootings to the number of officers intentionally killed each year. Unexpected twists follow, including how nationwide weight-loss trends could even reduce airline fuel costs and a growing “ghost student” scam siphoning millions in federal education funds. Rush then turns to business news, revealing that Fat Brands, parent company to numerous familiar restaurant chains, has filed for bankruptcy, raising concerns for vendors and small businesses awaiting payment. From public safety and legislation to economic ripple effects, the hour leaves listeners wondering: are facts guiding policy, or are emotions driving decisions? Guest Timestamps * Jerzee Joe — 1:08

Hour 1 Encore presentation of January 8, 2026. Hour 1 of Rush To Reason starts 2026 by addressing health, medical freedom, and trust as Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House discuss new federal changes to childhood vaccines. Dr. Victory clarifies these changes, why they matter, and the critical questions they raise about our healthcare system. The conversation reviews COVID-era decisions, accountability, and consequences for doctors who challenged official narratives. Why were dissenting medical voices silenced, and what does that mean for the next public health crisis? The panel also explores preparedness—physical, mental, and intellectual—emphasizing immune health, personal responsibility, and learning from those who “got it right” the first time. The discussion moves from individual health to the broader system, examining healthcare systems, insurance complexity, and why Americans often feel trapped in a model that discourages prevention and rewards confusion. The conversation then links health policy to politics and global power, asking: Are people being protected or managed? As 2026 begins, this hour challenges us to rethink medicine, authority, and who deserves our trust when it matters most. HOUR 2 Encore Presentation of January 15, 2026 Hour 1 of Rush to Reason opens with John Rush in a wide-ranging, no-nonsense conversation with Dr. Kelly Victory, challenging decades of conventional wisdom about health, nutrition, and lifestyle. Is the modern food pyramid backwards—and has it helped fuel obesity, chronic disease, and metabolic dysfunction? Dr. Victory explains why processed foods, refined carbohydrates, seed oils, and constant snacking may be at the root of America's health decline, while earlier generations thrived on real food, daily movement, and better sleep habits. The discussion dives into intermittent fasting, OMAD, portion control, and why hunger—not willpower—is often the biggest obstacle to weight loss. Could the low-fat craze and fear of cholesterol have unintended consequences for brain health, including dementia and Alzheimer's? Listeners are also urged to stop chasing fad diets and instead track how their own bodies respond to specific foods. From glyphosates in grains to the importance of protein, fiber, movement, and consistent sleep, this hour asks a powerful question: what if better health isn't complicated—but simply buried under years of bad advice?

What happens when truth becomes dangerous to express? Later in the hour, John is joined by Jim Paff, President of The Conservative Caucus (https://theconservativecaucus.com/), for a wide-ranging geopolitical deep dive. Jim breaks down U.S. actions in Venezuela, explaining why this moment is legally grounded, strategically different from past interventions, and deeply tied to countering China and Russia's influence in the Western Hemisphere. Is this really about oil—or about restoring stability, freedom, and American leverage closer to home? The hour closes by tying foreign policy to domestic unrest and questioning media narratives about ICE enforcement, paid protests, and failures of political leadership. Are these isolated incidents—or pieces of a much larger puzzle? HOUR 3 Hour 3 opens with John Rush and Jerzee Joe ( https://www.jerzeejoe.com/) discussing legacy, leadership, and why character matters more than titles. The hour quickly pivots into high-stakes geopolitics, as Joe breaks down Venezuela, explaining why Nicolás Maduro is not viewed as a legitimate leader and why U.S. action is being mislabeled as “regime change.” Are Americans being misled by selective language and media framing? The focus then turns domestic, exposing government fraud schemes tied to daycare and SNAP programs, and calling out political hypocrisy in major U.S. cities. As the conversation shifts forward, Joe raises a sobering question: Which jobs are about to disappear as humanoid robots and AI reshape the workforce—and which careers are about to explode? In the final stretch, Scott Garliss (https://x.com/CScottGarliss) joins John to unpack economic data that contradicts years of dire predictions. They examine tariffs, inflation, productivity gains, and why AI may be more like the railroad or Model T—disruptive at first, but transformative in the long run, and is the economy stronger than the experts admit?

Why is Governor Jared Polis breaking ranks with his party to support competition in education — and what could that mean for public, charter, and private schools? Rainey lays out how parental choice could reshape classrooms and create a better future for kids. Then the hour shifts gears as John tackles real-world preparedness, sharing his own experience living through a prolonged power outage. Are utility shutdowns about safety — or driven by lawsuits and liability? What happens when the grid goes dark, and are you ready to handle 72 hours without power? From generators and food storage to EVs as backup power sources, John and callers dig into resilience, self-reliance, and the choices families must make in uncertain times. Education, energy, preparedness, and freedom — can one hour spark a wake-up call you didn't expect? HR3 Hour 3 of Rush to Reason delivers a powerful mix of hard truth and heartfelt inspiration as John Rush is joined by Jerzee Joe and special guest Jerry Schimel of Best Day Ministries. The hour opens with Joe dissecting a tragic plane crash and the split-second decisions that can mean life or death. From there, the conversation tackles big ideas — dependence on the state, “chemtrail” legislation, retail theft mandates, and whether electric buses make sense in cold climates. Are ideology and virtue signaling replacing common sense? Health and culture collide as Joe raises the impact of sleep on longevity, while John weighs in on President Trump's latest speech and the role of the Fed — and calls out clickbait influencers driving outrage for profit. Then the tone shifts as Jerry Schimel shares his journey into Best Day Ministries (https://bestdayministries.org/), a nonprofit that gives adults with disabilities meaningful work, dignity, and community. What happens when inclusion replaces isolation? Can purpose change lives? From aviation to politics to compassion, this hour challenges how we think — and how we live.

What's really driving soaring healthcare costs — accidents, or lifestyle diseases like obesity, diabetes, and hypertension? Why do “quick-fix” drugs promise miracles while risking serious side effects? Dr. Kelly and Steve challenge listeners to rethink weight loss, chronic disease, and personal responsibility, exposing how incentives in medicine and the pharmaceutical industry may be steering care in the wrong direction. They tackle blood work, drug pricing, middlemen, and the ethics of modern treatment — asking whether the system rewards sickness more than health. Is Obamacare beyond repair? Are rural hospitals on the brink? And could medical freedom begin with simple daily choices instead of another pill or injection? This hour pulls no punches, blending hard truths with practical insight as Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House urge listeners to reclaim control of their health in 2026. Hour 1 of https://RushToReason.com focuses on medical freedom and political obstacles, with John Rush joined by Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House. The hour examines why prominent medical and policy voices are suppressed and why reforms face strong resistance. Dr. Victory breaks down the ongoing fight over vaccine policy and medical censorship. She explains why treatments like ivermectin were aggressively dismissed despite real-world results. Steve House pulls back the curtain on the political and financial machinery behind health care. He exposes why hospital billing feels intentionally incomprehensible—and who profits from that confusion. The conversation then shifts to the 2026 midterms, with clear warnings about internal party struggles, selecting candidates, and the risks of prioritizing ideals over practical strategy. Can Republicans win without unity and a realistic approach? What if broken systems—medical, political, and media—are never examined openly? HOUR 2 Hour 2 of Rush To Reason spotlights immigration enforcement, featuring Ammon Blair of the https://TexasPublicPolicyFoundation.com. The discussion centers on state and local cooperation with ICE, how education and incentives can improve enforcement, and the debate over humane immigration policy. The hour then pivots to Colorado politics as John examines new state laws taking effect in 2026, questioning whether they protect citizens or quietly undermine property rights and personal responsibility. From tenant-landlord rules to gun show regulations, the discussion warns of unintended consequences that could worsen housing shortages and fuel government expansion. Listener calls push the conversation deeper, asking a sobering question: are these policies about compassion—or control? HOUR 3 Hour 3 delivers a wide-ranging, hard-hitting conversation that challenges prevailing narratives on government power, economics, and cultural change. John Rush is joined by Jerzee Joe (https://www.youtube.com/@jerzeejoe3145), who draws stark parallels between U.S. policy debates and the real-world consequences seen in Europe—from failed government housing projects to crime statistics tied to mass immigration. Are America's leaders ignoring lessons already written in history? The hour then shifts to a deep economic breakdown with Scott Garliss of Bent Pine Capital (https://www.bentpinecapital.com/), who dissects the Federal Reserve's latest rate cut. Did the Fed stay too tight for too long—and are they now quietly reversing course to avoid a liquidity crisis? John and Scott explore inflation, growth forecasts, quantitative tightening, and the high-stakes question of who Donald Trump may select as the next Fed Chair. Finally, the hour closes with concerns over government accountability, as callers question whether federal programs meant to help small businesses are instead enriching powerful corporations. Is the system course-correcting—or simply reacting too late? Hour 3 pulls no punches and leaves listeners with critical questions about who's really steering the economy and the country's future.

Hour 1 of https://RushToReason.com plunges listeners into a fast-moving, razor-sharp conversation about the future of AI, healthcare, education, and mental health. John Rush and guest Steve House unravel the myths and realities of artificial intelligence—asking whether we're facing a technological revolution or sleepwalking into unforeseen danger. Will AI become the greatest diagnostic tool in medical history, spotting disease earlier and cheaper than ever? Or will Big Pharma fight to keep control of the system AI threatens to expose? The hour also challenges America's failing education model. If AI can tailor learning to every student, why are we still trapped in a one-size-fits-all system designed for averages, not excellence? And what happens when deepfakes become indistinguishable from reality, or when AI avatars blur emotional and spiritual boundaries? John and Steve then tackle the more profound cultural questions: Why is European bread easier on the body than ours? Are we unintentionally creating a nation dependent on chronic disease? Has our mental health crisis worsened by constantly digging up the past instead of building a stronger future? Hour 1 mixes innovation, caution, and big-picture thinking—inviting listeners to ask: Are we ready for the world AI is about to create? HOUR 2 Hour 2 of Rush to Reason dives into one of the most misrepresented narratives in America: Are young people truly priced out of the housing market, or have expectations changed more than reality? With no guests this hour, John Rush takes calls, challenges the headlines, and breaks down why so many millennials believe homeownership is impossible—while others their age are quietly making it happen. Should a first-time buyer expect 2,400 square feet, designer finishes, and two new cars in the driveway? Or is the real path to wealth still found in sacrifice, fixer-uppers, and sweat equity? John dismantles the "can't afford a home" storyline by exposing the role of lifestyle inflation, comparison culture, and social media. He also reveals how Trump's newly lowered CAFE standards could immediately reduce the cost of new vehicles—something critics refuse to acknowledge. The hour ends with a look at Colorado's construction-defect law and its unintended consequence: wiping out starter condos that once made owning a home far more attainable. Hour 2 challenges everything you think you know about affordability, expectations, and building a life you can actually afford. HOUR 3 Hour 3 explodes with energy as John Rush and Jerzee Joe (https://www.youtube.com/@jerzeejoe3145) open with sharp cultural commentary, outrageous news stories, and a hard look at how the erosion of family structure is impacting crime, discipline, and society. Why are celebrities saying bizarre things? Why are harmless gun-range photos turning into arrests overseas? And what happens when statistics on fatherlessness collide with uncomfortable political truths? Then the hour pivots into a powerful economic deep dive with Scott Garliss of Bent Pine Capitol (https://x.com/CScottGarliss), who reveals what the Federal Reserve may do next—and how a single decision could ignite or stall the entire U.S. economy. Will the Fed begin cutting rates? Could mortgage portability reshape home ownership? And is the housing market one bold policy away from roaring back to life? From government overreach to Fed strategy, from climate hysteria to bank stability, Hour 3 is packed with provocative questions, sharp analysis, and insights you won't hear anywhere else.

What happens when artificial intelligence reads your bloodwork better than your doctor? Could peptides disrupt Big Pharma the way streaming crushed cable? And why have drug launch prices jumped from $2,100 in 2008 to over $180,000 today? Steve breaks down the explosion of AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Quarrio—platforms that can analyze symptoms, generate medical summaries, explain drug interactions, and even role-play ER physicians or comedians like Bill Burr. If AI can help people avoid unnecessary appointments, reduce anxiety, and make smarter decisions, will unions, bureaucracies, and giant health systems try to block it? John and Steve push further: Could AI slash labor costs, reinvent classrooms, and eliminate menial tasks across entire professions? Will institutions embrace it—or fight it? And are we heading toward a world where advanced expertise becomes accessible to everyone? This hour is provocative, funny, and packed with bold predictions. Why did honest medical debate vanish during COVID? Why is the CDC now admitting gaps in vaccine-autism research after years of denial? And how far are today's Malthusian-minded leaders willing to go—climate mandates, 15-minute cities, population control agendas—to gain power over your daily life? The conversation goes deeper as Steve and Dr. Kelly expose a growing crisis of trust: a collapse in confidence in doctors, the media, the legal system, and government. What happens when truth becomes subjective, experts contradict each other, and critical thinking disappears? And what does it cost to stand against the narrative? Packed with raw honesty, firsthand experiences, and piercing questions, this hour asks listeners to decide: will you choose freedom over force… and can America recover before the window closes?

HOUR 2 Hour 2 opens with a powerful, no-nonsense interview featuring Alvin Lui, President of Courage Is a Habit (https://courageisahabit.org), who exposes what he calls the real mission of today's public schools. Is K–12 education still focused on academics—or has it become a pipeline for social-justice indoctrination, emotional manipulation, and Marxist ideology disguised as “empathy” and “mental health”? Alvin breaks down how language contamination, restorative justice, and culturally responsive teaching reshape children's worldview by teaching them to rely on the government, not their parents. How do you protect your kids when teachers get the “best hours” of your child's day… and you only get the leftovers? Then the hour pivots to government overreach on a broader scale—from California's jaw-dropping proposal that could force teens up to age sixteen into booster seats, to new credit-card surcharge schemes that threaten to nickel-and-dime consumers into submission. Are these policies really about safety and business costs… or part of a growing trend where personal freedom shrinks and regulation expands? Packed with insight, candor, and urgency, this hour dares listeners to ask: How much control are we willing to give away—and who benefits when we do? HOUR 3 Hour 3 explodes out of the gate with Jersey Joe (https://www.youtube.com/@jerzeejoe3145) and John taking on one of the biggest battles of our time: truth vs. deception. What happens when people build their worldview on memes, bad data, and AI-generated political fakes that look and sound like the real thing? From Thomas Sowell's warnings about moral superiority to a deepfake Bernie Sanders quote that even Joe fell for, the hour raises a chilling question: how do you find truth in a world where lies are easier than ever to manufacture? Then the tone shifts to opportunity and grit, as Mike Rowe and NVIDIA's Jensen Huang predict that America's next millionaires won't come from Silicon Valley—they'll come from the trades. Plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and young entrepreneurs willing to take risks are building wealth the old-fashioned way: sweat, skill, and guts. But the hour doesn't stay calm for long. Joe and John rip through outrageous real-world stories—dangerous crime policies, ICE operations, exploding government costs, and EVs that fail spectacularly. Finally, Phil Kerpen, president of American Commitment (https://www.americancommitment.org), exposes the stunning truth about AARP and its billion-dollar ties to UnitedHealth. Is the nation's most famous “senior advocacy group” really advocating for seniors… or something far more lucrative? Hour Three is packed with facts, fire, and the kind of questions that make you rethink everything.

HOUR 1 Hour 1 of Rush to Reason hits the ground running as John Rush welcomes Steve House, former Colorado GOP Chair and longtime health-care executive, for a rapid-fire look at the future of AI, medicine, and education. HOUR 2 Hour 2 explodes with political heat as John Rush breaks down the real story behind the government shutdown and the six Democrats who crossed party lines. Were they acting on principle—or trying to affect last week's elections? With 42 million Americans on SNAP, John asks: Why is dependency rising when jobs are everywhere? Should drug testing, tighter restrictions, and accountability be required before taxpayers foot the bill? Caller Dan pushes the discussion into health-care reform, HSAs, and free-market medicine, sharing shocking billing stories. John argues conservatives are missing a huge opportunity by refusing to use AI as a communication tool—while the Left embraces it. Caller Jeff raises the case for lifestyle-based insurance rates, while Brad from Lakewood unleashes a blistering critique of GOP messaging, low turnout, and Trump's reliance on Truth Social. If conservatives can't communicate their wins, how do they expect to win elections? This hour is fiery, blunt, and unapologetically honest. HOUR 3 Hour 3 delivers political fireworks, hard data, and eye-opening corruption. John Rush welcomes “Jerzee Joe,” (https://www.youtube.com/@jerzeejoe3145) who arrives with statistics showing how broken the system is. Why are only 0.25% of federal employees fired for cause when private industry averages 3–5%? Why do blue states like New Mexico and New York lead the nation in SNAP dependency, while Wyoming and Utah stay near 5%? And how can one man collect six sets of SNAP benefits across multiple states? Joe reveals massive NGO fraud, including a St. Louis nonprofit that burned $11 million on luxuries and a Minneapolis restaurant claiming to feed thousands—but feeding only 40 paying customers. He then exposes the Chicago Teachers Union for spending $173,000 on a “recording studio” with a pool in New Mexico. The hour shifts as market analyst Scott Garliss (https://cscottgarliss.substack.com) breaks down panic surrounding Michael Burry, AI stocks like NVIDIA and Palantir, and whether an “AI bubble” is looming. Are pessimists fueling fear while long-term investors reap the rewards? Fast, sharp, and packed with revelations—this hour pulls no punches.

HOUR 1 from 10-9-25 Is America's Health Care System Beyond Repair—Or Finally Waking Up? This hour starts with a shocking twist: President Trump praises Pfizer's CEO, Albert Bourla, as a hero of the pandemic. But Dr. Kelly Victory isn't clapping—she's appalled. Has Big Pharma really changed, or just rebranded? Why is Pfizer being celebrated while other companies are vilified? And who's really advising Trump behind the scenes—Robert F. Kennedy Jr., or someone far less transparent? From there, the conversation widens to the tangled world of everyday medicine. Why is Tylenol suddenly under attack while Pfizer is redeemed? Dr. Kelly and Steve House expose the confusion that plagues American consumers—people who don't know the difference between ibuprofen and acetaminophen or realize they're doubling up on cold meds that can destroy their liver. It's not just ignorance—it's a symptom of a system designed to keep you dependent. Could the solution really be as simple as having a “cold care kit” at home and reclaiming control over your own health? Then the gloves come off. Dr. Kelly recounts how, during COVID, pharmacists refused to fill legitimate prescriptions for ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine—how politics, not science, decided who got treatment. That moment, she says, changed everything. It inspired a movement toward medical freedom—giving Americans controlled access to the tools they need, from antibiotics to antivirals, without bureaucratic roadblocks. But is that freedom possible in a country where Big Pharma profits from restriction and the insurance industry rewards dependence? By the end, the conversation becomes a powerful reckoning. Dr. Kelly and Steve House dismantle the myth of “health insurance,” calling it what it's become—a bloated system of corporate control and racketeering. Why do drug prices soar 12% while technology gets cheaper every year? Why do pharmacists and middlemen profit while patients suffer? And what will it take to rebuild a system that actually serves people instead of power? If you've ever wondered who really controls American health care—or whether we can take it back—this is the conversation you can't afford to miss. HOUR 2 From 10-23-25 Inside the Lies That Shaped a Generation: Fear, Control, and COVID. What if everything you were told about COVID—and vaccines—was only half the story? In this explosive episode of Rush to Reason, John Rush and Dr. Kelly Victory expose the hidden side of public health, fear, and control. Were we misled about the real risks to children? Could “long COVID” actually be masking something else entirely? With 35 years of medical experience, Dr. Kelly reveals what she calls the “silent fallout” of lockdowns, mandates, and mass vaccination. She questions why hospitals inflated death counts, why key studies were buried, and how Big Pharma's influence reaches from Washington to the nightly news. If vaccines were truly beyond reproach, wouldn't the CDC and medical centers be eager to prove it? From the hepatitis B shot given to newborns to the suppressed An Inconvenient Study, this conversation dares to ask what mainstream media won't. Who can you trust when truth-tellers risk everything to speak out?

What's behind that decision, and what message is it sending to the world? And finally—what would you do if you won $2 billion? One California man is using his winnings to buy up properties lost in the L.A. fires. Is it rebuilding or opportunism? HOUR 3 What drives a New Yorker who despises billionaires to throw his support behind socialist candidate Zorhan Mamdani for mayor? Is this a glimpse into the future of urban politics—or a warning sign for the rest of the country? Meanwhile, the CEO of Walmart takes on George Stephanopoulos over the real cost of Thanksgiving dinner this year—so who's telling the truth about inflation? And in a bizarre twist, how did an AI system mistake a bag of Doritos for a gun? What does that say about the technology shaping our everyday lives? Then—California's SEIU union is pushing a new ballot measure: a 5% wealth tax on billionaires, retroactive to 2025. Could this start an exodus—or a revolution? Plus, emergency funds for SNAP and a local race that hits close to home—Steve Altschuler is back in the running for Longmont City Council.

Is America's Health Care System Beyond Repair—Or Finally Waking Up?

Could the cure for cancer already exist in cheap, overlooked drugs Big Pharma doesn't want you to know about? John Rush, Dr. Kelly Victory, and Steve House uncover the surprising potential of fenbendazole, a so-called “dog dewormer,” showing powerful effects on tumors without the devastating side effects of chemotherapy. If these medications are safe, effective, and inexpensive, why have they been buried for decades? And what role did COVID play in shutting down alternative treatments to protect the Emergency Use Authorization of the mRNA shots? But the story doesn't stop there. Imagine losing your job for prescribing medicine you knew could help. That's exactly what happened to Dr. Scott Faulkner, who fought back in court, won, and went on to build his own concierge practice. As listeners text in questions, the conversation takes unexpected turns—can garlic really kill parasites? Is grounding through sheets and barefoot walks in the grass science or just belief? Or could the secret benefit simply be stepping away from the chaos, unplugging, and reconnecting with something bigger than yourself? And what about the technology we now strap to our wrists? Sleep trackers, step counters, even experimental tattoos that warn of seizures—are wearables guiding us to better health or trapping us in constant surveillance and anxiety? Should you trust the data, or trust your own body? In a world rushing toward instant answers, maybe the real question is: are you willing to slow down, unplug, and discover what actually works for you? Find out more at https://RushToReason.com

What's really going on behind the scenes of celebrity deaths, organ transplants, and American health care? Why are so many celebrities dying younger than expected—and could there be more to the story? John Rush and Steve House kick off the hour with a fiery intro and a conversation that quickly turns from the shock of Hulk Hogan's death to deeper questions about lifestyle, stress, and the hidden costs of fame. Is it the jab? The drugs? The pressure of constantly supporting an entourage? And what about the chilling report Dr. Kelly shared—are hospitals harvesting organs from patients not yet dead? You won't believe how deep the financial incentives go in the world of organ donation and health care billing. Could 3D-printed organs be the future of healthcare—and the end of human organ donation as we know it? In this eye-opening segment, Rush and House dive deeper into chilling allegations of organ harvesting from patients not fully deceased and the ethics of monetizing donated body parts. Are hospitals profiting while grieving families foot the bill? What is a "bioprinter," and how close are we to printing kidneys, skin, or even entire organs grown from your own cells? And if the rich can afford these life-extending procedures—what happens to the rest of us? This isn't science fiction anymore—it's knocking at our door. Who decides who deserves life-saving treatment—and who doesn't? In this bold and controversial exchange, John and Steve wrestle with ethical landmines: Should everyone receive equal care, even if they've made poor life choices or aren't contributing to society? Is our system actually rewarding irresponsibility while punishing those who play by the rules? They reveal how buried formulas in Obamacare already assign value to your life based on age, health, and economic output. Could this lead to a future where only the wealthy and genetically fortunate receive cutting-edge care? And is America's health care system heading toward collapse—or something even more sinister? What really happened during COVID—and what aren't we being told? On this explosive episode of Rush to Reason, John Rush is joined by Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House for a powerful, unfiltered look into medical freedom, government overreach, and the dark legacy of the pandemic response. They begin with the chilling case of Dr. Kirk Moore, a physician who faced 35 years in prison for offering patients a choice when it came to the COVID vaccine—only to have charges dropped after public pressure. Was he a criminal or a courageous defender of informed consent? The conversation reveals how quickly fear was weaponized, laws were bent, and the sacred trust between doctor and patient was trampled. As the segment unfolds, the trio dives into deeper questions: Should the federal government be involved in healthcare, education, or personal medical decisions at all? Why don't most Americans know what's actually in the Constitution—or how many so-called “rights” aren't in it at all? They make a strong case for returning power to the states, shrinking bloated federal systems, and challenging candidates to understand and respect the limits of their authority. Dr. Kelly then explains what makes mRNA shots so different—and dangerous. Unlike traditional vaccines, mRNA technology instructs your own cells to create a toxic spike protein indefinitely. There's no off switch. She shares alarming new data showing irreversible eye damage and highlights the wild inconsistencies in vaccine batches and administration. Could that flimsy paper vaccine card you carry have been filled out by someone with no medical training, handing out shots in a makeshift parking lot clinic? They conclude with a sobering warning: the tactics used during COVID—fear, division, and virtue signaling—worked all too well. From monkeypox to bird flu, the next “crisis” may already be in motion. The only way to stop it? Stay informed, ask hard questions, and never forget who got it right the last time. Find out more at https://rushtoreason.com.

What's really lurking in our waters—and are we being told the truth? In this explosive kickoff to Rush to Reason, Dr. Kelly Victory and Steve House join John Rush to question the latest media alarm over Vibrio infections. Is this just another case of public health fear-mongering, or a subtle push for a climate change agenda? Could the endless warnings actually be causing Americans to tune out real dangers? And what about weather manipulation—are recent floods in Texas just nature, or something more controlled? The conversation is just getting started, and the questions raised may challenge everything you've been told. That same spirit of skepticism carries into the next segment, where the topic shifts to another hot-button issue: the shingles vaccine. Is it really necessary? Dr. Kelly Victory weighs in with a surprising take—explaining why she doesn't recommend it for most people, despite widespread promotion. Could lifestyle changes and immune-boosting supplements like zinc and vitamin D be more effective than a controversial vaccine with serious side effects? The discussion takes a sharp turn into deeper waters as the hosts uncover what may be a pharmaceutical coup against RFK Jr.—a man challenging Big Pharma, the vaccine industry, and the very foundations of modern healthcare. Is he a dangerous disruptor… or exactly what America needs? Don't miss this heated exchange that asks: Who really controls our health system—and why are they so afraid of change? That question becomes even more urgent in the following segment, where the spotlight widens to reveal how Big Pharma, the food industry, and government bureaucracy have all conspired—knowingly or not—to create a broken, one-size-fits-all system. Disruptors like RFK Jr. are shaking that system to the core, but are they being silenced for it? The hosts debate the real impact of figures like RFK and Elon Musk, from vaccine policy to political reform, and expose how corporate influence shapes both medicine and food. Plus, find out why a simple pre-packaged meal program sparked outrage—and why RFK defended it anyway. Are we witnessing the unraveling of institutional control… or just another round of political theater? Either way, it's a conversation you can't afford to miss.
