Prvi tekmovalni dan, prva medalja za Slovenijo na zimskih olimpijskih igrah. Nika Prevc je osvojila srebro in postala še tretja članica družine Prevc z olimpijsko kolajno, a po tekmi ni bila zadovoljna z razpletom. Redko se zgodi, da slovenski športnik osvoji olimpijsko medaljo, pa ima na koncu cmok v grlu. Voditelj Luka Petrič z radijskima reporterjema Daretom Ruparjem in Igorjem Tomincem debatira o tem, ali takšna mentaliteta naredi velike največje. Rupar je vzporednice našel pri Janji Garnbret, ki je prav tako težko prenaša druga mesta, Tominec pa pri Tadeju Pogačarju, za katerega pravi, da so druga mesta imela še večji vpliv na njegovo kariero kot pa veličastne zmage. Prevčeva pri prvem skoku ni stabilno doskočila, dobila je skromne ocene, morda je na koncu odločala ta razlika, a Rupar opozarja, da se je tedaj tudi mojstrsko rešila, saj bi lahko tam padla, če bi se to zgodilo, pa bi bilo konec sanj o katerikoli medalji. Pravi pa, da so bile tekmice verjetno bolj sproščene, pod manjšim pritiskom. Zlata Anna Odine Stroem je po tekmi zatrdila, da je tekmovala le za srebro in bron, saj je menila, da je zlato že vnaprej oddano Prevčevi. Podrobneje tudi o razlogih za švicarsko prevlado v hitrih disciplinah alpskega smučanja. Tominec razlaga, kako so Švicarji v zadnjem desetletju prehiteli sosede Avstrijce po zaslugi kakovostnih centrov za razvoj alpskega smučanja po vsej državi, velik poudarek pa dajejo na združevanju treningov in šolanja zaradi česar manj mladih opusti ta šport, ko se v poznih najstniških letih odloča o naslednjih življenjskih korakih. Ravno takrat se v Sloveniji namreč zgodi največji osip tekmovalcev.
