A coprodução brasileira "Seis Meses no Prédio Rosa e Azul", do diretor mexicano Bruno Santamaría Razo, estreou em Cannes na mostra paralela Semana da Crítica. O longa é inspirado nas memórias do cineasta, mais precisamente no momento em que ele tinha 11 anos, nos anos 1990, quando o pai foi diagnosticado com o vírus HIV. Adriana Brandão, enviada especial da RFI a Cannes O longa foi elogiado pelo jornal Libération. “A memória vibrante do mexicano Bruno Santamaria Razo tem uma audácia incrível”, escreve o diário francês. Rodado em 16 mm, “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul” é um filme híbrido, que mistura ficção e documentário. Com cores vivas e muita alegria, Bruno Santamaría Razo relembra a época de seu aniversário de 11 anos, quando começava a descobrir sua sexualidade e não compreendia completamente a situação após o diagnóstico do pai. A tensão do momento foi esquecida, como um trauma, durante quase 30 anos e veio à tona durante a pandemia de Covid-19. “Durante a pandemia, eu tinha uma sensação de medo, de estranhamento, de incômodo no corpo, e senti que isso tinha relação com a memória do passado. Entrevistei minha família para tentar entender e, depois de entrevistá-los, fiquei muito comovido, muito tocado por algo que tem a ver com a desconfiança. Fiquei muito mais confuso”, conta. Para entender melhor o que estava sentindo, começou a escrever as lembranças que tinha. “Ao escrever, percebi que a memória não era suficiente, como se eu não conseguisse acessar uma emoção real. E, de repente, percebi que comecei a inventar, a inventar deliberadamente, a imaginar. Entrelaçava memória, imaginação, entrevistas. Continuei fazendo isso repetidamente e percebi que estava escrevendo um roteiro de ficção. Naquele momento, me encantei com a ideia de fazer um filme para, a partir da imaginação, voltar a olhar algo que, de outra maneira, seria impossível”, lembra. Bruno Santamaría Razo revela que a tensão entre afeto e sofrimento foi retratada no filme com muita alegria, música e festa, muito presentes em sua família e na cultura mexicana. “Cresci ouvindo muita música salsa. Sou fascinado pela salsa, gosto de dançar, de ouvir. E algo que me emociona muito, que me arrepia, é que as letras falam de sofrimento, de traição, de dor, de morte, mas nós dançamos, cantamos, nos movimentamos. E essa sensação, para mim, era central para entender como vivemos na minha família. Apesar da dor e do sofrimento, colorimos as paredes e nos pusemos a dançar”, afirma. Passado e presente “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul” tem duas camadas. O passado, reconstruído pela ficção, e o presente em uma linguagem documental, feito de entrevistas com a família de Bruno Santamaría Razo. O mexicano já trabalhava no cinema como diretor de fotografia e assina com “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul” seu primeiro longa-metragem. “Queria deixar claro que o filme não é apenas compartilhar uma história, mas mostrar que existe alguém que quer voltar a olhar o passado, que está buscando, que está tentando sentir algo que de outra forma seria impossível no próprio corpo, mas também pela relação entre passado e presente. Ou seja, a encenação é o passado e as entrevistas são o presente. Então esse espaço tão grande de 30 anos entre a lembrança e o momento em que esse jovem decide fazer um filme me interessava muito que estivesse no centro da história”, explica. Rachel Daisy, da produtora Desvia, produziu o longa “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul”. “A gente chegou ao projeto em 2023. Já tínhamos trabalhado com o Bruno Santamaría, que foi diretor de fotografia em outro filme. Eu me apaixonei imediatamente pela história e pela maneira como ele queria contar essa história muito pessoal da família dele. Conseguimos acessar um fundo de coprodução no Brasil nessa altura, ganhamos e seguimos”, conta. Projeto coletivo O longa é uma coprodução do México (Ojos de Vaca), Brasil (Desvia) e Dinamarca (Snowglobe). A pós-produção de “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul” aconteceu principalmente no Brasil, concluindo um projeto “coletivo e colaborativo”, segundo a produtora. “Eu acho que fazer coprodução é muito bonito, porque temos essa possibilidade de troca, de olhares, cultura e maneiras de trabalhar que eu percebo que, no nosso trabalho, sempre beneficiam muito os projetos. O fato de ter uma participação grande brasileira na pós-produção, tanto na montagem quanto no som e nos efeitos especiais, traz a possibilidade de troca, de pensar o filme com um alcance maior. Com certeza contribuiu para o resultado tão lindo do filme”, diz Rachel. Os vencedores da Semana da Crítica foram anunciados nesta quarta-feira, 20. O grande vencedor foi “La Gradiva”, da francesa Marine Atlan. “Seis Semanas no Prédio Rosa e Azul” não foi premiado na mostra paralela, mas o longa de Bruno Santamaría Razo ainda concorre a dois prêmios em Cannes, o Queer Palm e o Caméra d'Or, que recompensa o melhor primeiro filme apresentado em todas as mostras do festival.

Até o próximo dia 23 de maio, as atenções dos cinéfilos do mundo todo se voltam para o Festival de Cinema de Cannes. A participação do Brasil neste ano é bem mais discreta do que em anos anteriores. Nenhum longa brasileiro foi selecionado, mas o curta Laser-Gato, de Lucas Acher, representa o país na mostra La Cinef. Adriana Brandão, enviada especial a Cannes O Brasil está presente neste ano no Festival de Cannes em quatro coproduções de longas-metragens. Paper Tiger, do veterano diretor americano James Gray, é produzido pelo brasileiro Rodrigo Teixeira, um dos latino-americanos mais influentes de Hollywood. O thriller, estrelado por Adam Driver e Scarlett Johansson, concorre à Palma de Ouro. Na seleção Um Certo Olhar, voltada ao cinema emergente, o nepalês Elefantes na Névoa também é coproduzido pelo Brasil, assim como Seis Meses no Prédio Rosa e Azul, do diretor mexicano Bruno Santamaría Razo, que integra a mostra paralela Semana da Crítica. O ator Selton Mello estará nas telas de Cannes como protagonista de La Perra. O longa da chilena Dominga Sotomayor estreia na seleção paralela Quinzena dos Cineastas. O paulistano Lucas Acher é o único cineasta do país selecionado. O curta-metragem Laser-Gato será exibido na mostra La Cinef, dedicada a filmes de escolas de cinema. Cinema do Brasil Como todos os anos, o Brasil marca presença no importante Mercado do Filme do Festival. Depois de ser o país convidado de honra no ano passado, mais de 200 profissionais, entre produtores e cineastas, além de várias instituições públicas e privadas, voltam a Cannes em busca de parcerias de produção e distribuição. A participação brasileira é organizada pelo Cinema do Brasil, programa de internacionalização do setor em parceria com a Apex, com apoio da Spcine e da RioFilme. A novidade deste ano é a “Matinée Brésil”, uma manhã inteira de debates e encontros, na segunda-feira (18), dedicada a mostrar como o país está se posicionando em relação ao cinema e ao audiovisual. “O que a gente está tentando consolidar é manter constante esse bom momento do cinema nacional que alcançamos, para poder aproveitá-lo por um longo período, evitando aqueles ciclos viciosos que existem no Brasil, com rupturas nas políticas públicas e na promoção do que se faz no país, dos nossos filmes e das nossas séries”, afirma Leonardo Edde, diretor-presidente da RioFilme. Ele avalia que, apesar da presença discreta do Brasil nas seleções competitivas de Cannes, o cinema brasileiro vive um bom momento. “Este ano tivemos uma participação pequena aqui em Cannes, ao contrário do ano passado, quando houve grande presença. Mas isso também se deve às quebras de ciclos nas políticas públicas. Muitas vezes, sentimos os efeitos disso apenas anos depois. Estamos vivendo momentos de glória por um lado, mas ainda enfrentamos os resquícios da crise da última gestão federal.” Leonardo Edde reforça que a participação no Mercado do Filme de Cannes, considerado o centro da produção cinematográfica mundial, “visa manter o cinema nacional no cenário global”. Elogios e críticas Apesar de elogiarem a política pública de cinema desde a criação da Ancine, que permitiu sucessos mundiais como Ainda Estou Aqui e O Agente Secreto, alguns produtores presentes em Cannes reclamam da má distribuição de verbas no setor. A veterana Sara Silveira frequenta o Mercado do Filme de Cannes há mais de 20 anos. Nesta edição, participa com três filmes e um projeto. Ela pede mais apoio ao cinema autoral brasileiro. “Estou com 76 anos, sou uma produtora brasileira extremamente ativa, tenho muita vitalidade e tenho encontrado dificuldades para captar recursos para o meu cinema de porte médio, que é o cinema básico brasileiro, que faz história e diz o que precisa ser dito. Nosso cinema precisa ser reconhecido. É esse cinema de autor que forma a base”, salienta. Sara Silveira defende mais “dividendos, força e coragem” para esse tipo de cinema: “Para que possamos realizá-lo e trazer o Brasil para essas telas (de Cannes), é preciso que esse dinheiro, que é do próprio setor, seja revertido e volte para nós, sendo melhor gerido e distribuído.” Emocionada, ela também pede maior inclusão. “Há jovens, pessoas de meia-idade e também há o etarismo — eu sou etária. Quero que reconheçam a minha força. Quero ter energia, modernidade e a liberdade de fazer cinema em todas as idades, com todos os gêneros. Isso é fundamental para mim: inclusão. Contem comigo. Sou uma militante da arte e do cinema brasileiro”, afirma. Para o produtor Lucas Pelegrino, o grande problema é a imprevisibilidade dos editais. “A principal reclamação é que fazemos reuniões, fechamos acordos, o parceiro capta a parte dele, e nós, no Brasil, ficamos sem recursos porque não sabemos quando os editais serão abertos, o que nos impede de nos posicionar adequadamente. Foi o que aconteceu comigo: no ano passado tivemos reuniões, mas os editais que esperávamos não foram lançados”, conta. Segundo o jovem produtor de São José do Rio Preto, no interior de São Paulo, essa indefinição enfraquece os brasileiros. “Perdemos credibilidade na hora de negociar projetos. É mais uma questão de organização de prazos do que de dinheiro. Existe um volume considerável de recursos, especialmente no fundo setorial, além da Lei Aldir Blanc e do ProAC em São Paulo. São mecanismos incríveis, mas falta previsibilidade, e isso pesa mais”, reforça. Lucas Pelegrino produz principalmente filmes de gênero, como fantasia e terror. Ele busca recursos em Cannes para internacionalizar o projeto A Usina Atrás do Morro, baseado na obra do autor brasileiro de realismo mágico José J. Veiga. O Mercado do Filme termina no dia 20 de maio, três dias antes do 79º Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cannes.

Zlata Anna Odine Stroem je po tekmi zatrdila, da je tekmovala le za srebro in bron, saj je menila, da je zlato že vnaprej oddano Prevčevi. Podrobneje tudi o razlogih za švicarsko prevlado v hitrih disciplinah alpskega smučanja. Tominec razlaga, kako so Švicarji v zadnjem desetletju prehiteli sosede Avstrijce po zaslugi kakovostnih centrov za razvoj alpskega smučanja po vsej državi, velik poudarek pa dajejo na združevanju treningov in šolanja zaradi česar manj mladih opusti ta šport, ko se v poznih najstniških letih odloča o naslednjih življenjskih korakih. Ravno takrat se v Sloveniji namreč zgodi največji osip tekmovalcev.
