[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] From the Model S's to the Model X's and the new Cybertruck, there is no doubt that Tesla is revolutionizing the automobility experience across the globe through the integration of electricity and technology in their groundbreaking designs. In this episode, host Dennis Wisco speaks with father-son power duo Rahul and Haydn Sonnad, on how they were able to build an exceptional business model off of the success of a pre-existing business. Rahul and Haydn are the co-founders of Tesloop, a one-way transit rental company that moves people and goods between Los Angeles and San Diego with crowdsourced Tesla vehicles. Rahul Sonnad holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master's in Computer Science and Japanese from the University of Washington. Prior to Tesloop, Rahul worked as an engineering manager at Adobe and at Microsoft. His responsibilities included serving as a product designer for Microsoft Word, as well as the Research & Development Manager for all Asian releases of Microsoft Office. Rahul's interest in Tesla vehicles is its similarity to a digital media service by allowing users to optimize their experience through interactivity and upgrades over time. Rahul is a creative businessman, and passionate about exploring the future of transportation through his work with small start-ups like Tesloop. Rahul's youthful son, Haydn Sonnad, first conceived the Tesloop transportation model while developing a strategy to procure and finance a vehicle for his summer vacation at age 16. Haydn has always been passionate about automobility and first-class travel, and regularly attends the Tesla Shareholders meetings where he often addresses his most pressing automobility questions to Elon Musk himself. Haydn's current responsibilities at Tesloop as the company continues to expand its operations include corporate communications, public relations, and managing car maintenance and equipment. His favorite part of being involved in a start-up is having the opportunity to come up with a pitch deck and creating a cohesive narrative within the company. The team at Tesloop stands by Tesla electric vehicles as the most efficient and economical means to travel long distances, endorsing the Tesla car as the world's safest and most technologically advanced vehicle on the road. Tune in to this episode as Dennis, Rahul, and Haydn discuss their endorsement of Tesla, connectivity, autonomous vehicles, and, most importantly… making money. Through the integration of existing infrastructure like these revolutionary electric vehicles, ride-sharing platforms like Tesloop are setting a radical precedent for the business models of the mobility of people and goods for the future. It’s Martyn Lee here and I’ve been through every EV story I can find today, and picked out the ones I think you need to know about.   Thank you to MYEV.com for helping make this show, they’ve built the first marketplace specifically for Electric Vehicles. It’s a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too.   HIGH POWER CHARGERS BACK ONLINE! Fastned: "Good news! We switched on the CCS outlets of our 175 kW chargers again. Tests by HUBER+SUHNER confirm that the liquid cooled cables meet all safety standards. We will remove the tape and stickers from the cables today. If you are at a station that still has tape around the CCS outlet, feel free to give us a call if you want to help us out removing it." Electrify America: no statement I’ve seen but I was sent a Twitter note to say they’re online too   TESLA EXPECTS SMALL PROFIT CNBC reports on the Tesla Q4 2018 earnings ahead of the call: "Musk said preliminary results show the company made a profit on an unadjusted basis during the fourth quarter of 2018, but it was less than the previous three months. In the first quarter, higher-priced Model 3s to Europe and Asia "will hopefully allow us, with great difficulty, effort and some luck, to target a tiny profit," Musk said in a Jan. 18 company update."   https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/29/tesla-reports-earnings-as-shares-fall-amid-a-few-red-flags.html   ASPARK OWL ELECTRIC HYPERCAR TARGETS NÜRBURGRING LAP RECORD "You might remember the Aspark Owl electric hypercar from its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Development is still underway on the Japanese-built machine, and the company now says that a run at the Nürburgring record could be under consideration." says Chris Bruce, Editor for Motor1.com: "[The] Aspark Owl performances are allowing us to aim [for] the Nürburgring record," a company spokesperson told Top Gear. Aspark's testing already shows that the Owl is capable of reaching 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 1.9 seconds. The company's official specs show the hypercar being able to reach 174 mph (280 kph). At a price of 3.1 million euros ($3.5 million) and production of just 50 units, the Owl will be a very rare machine, and the company will deliver the first one in 2020."   https://www.motor1.com/news/302941/aspark-owl-nurburgring-record-attempt/   NEVS AND KOENIGSEGG FORM A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP Swedish car makers NEVS AB and Koenigsegg AB are together forming a strategic partnership, enabling the development of parallel vehicle models in slightly higher volumes with emphasis on electrification, as well as strengthening growth opportunities in the hyper car segment. A reminder NEVS came from ashes of Saab, and Koenigsegg was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg, with the mission to create the perfect sports car NEVS is making a capital injection of EUR 150 million, thereby taking a 20 percent minority stake in Koenigsegg’s parent company. Additionally, the parties are forming a joint venture to expand into new market segments where NEVS AB is contributing USD 150 million in starting capital for a 65 percent stake and Koenigsegg obtains 35 percent by contributing primarily with intellectual property, technology licenses, and product design. Alongside NEVS capacity for production in Trollhättan and China, NEVS through its majority owner Evergrande, has a wide distribution platform and channels through ownership in one of China’s largest car retailers. Last week, Evergrande announced the acquisition of 58.07 percent in automobile battery maker Shanghai CENAT New Energy Co Ltd, a $156 million deal.   MITSUBISHI TO DEBUT ENGELBERG TOURER ELECTRIC SUV CONCEPT IN GENEVA "Mitsubishi will reveal at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show on March 5th its all-new Engelberg Tourer Concept." reports Mark Kane at InsideEVs.com: "The short note about the car says that Engelberg Tourer Concept will bring: more SUV, more EV, more technology and more style (named after a beautiful; rugged Alpine town with a history of sporting success). It’s highly probable that the Engelberg Tourer Concept is actually a new plug-in hybrid, which is bigger and has more all-electric range than the current aging Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV." Top Gear said: "Lagonda Vision Geneva 2018: Aston Valkryrie AMR Pro and the Lagonda Vision Given the success of the Outlander PHEV, it’s no surprise that Mitsubishi are trying to cash-in on the electric SUV trend, although it’s currently unclear as to whether this will also be a plug-in hybrid or if it’ll go fully electric. We’ll have to wait until 5 March to find that out, when more technical details will be announced and we’ll meet Engelberg in the flesh."   https://insideevs.com/mitsubishi-engelberg-tourer-ev-geneva/   https://www.topgear.com/car-news/geneva-motor-show/mitsubishi-calling-its-geneva-concept-engelberg   UK ISP IS TURNING BROADBAND INFRASTRUCTURE INTO EV CHARGING STATIONS "Liberty Global is testing a secondary use for its broadband cabinets, the streetside boxes that link internet connections from exchanges to homes and businesses. It's harnessing the infrastructure of its Virgin Media subsidiary to build electric vehicle charging stations in the UK." according to Engadget: "Liberty hopes to have up to six trial charging points set up by mid-April. It's also planning tests in Belgium through its Telenet network. Last year, Deutsche Telekom revealed plans to turn 12,000 cabinets into charging points."   https://www.engadget.com/2019/01/28/virgin-media-ev-charging-trial-liberty-global   AUDI E-TRON IS QUIETEST EV IN BJØRN NYLAND’S TESTS InsideEVs has been keeping an eye on Bjorn Nylands e-tron review videos: "Audi e-tron turns out to be the quietest electric car ever tested by Bjørn Nyland, averaging just 63 dB. The silence, even at high speeds, was earlier signaled by the Autogefühl review, which clearly said that it’s better than in the case of Tesla. Bjorn revealed that e-tron is around 2-3 dB below the second best Tesla Model X and Jaguar I-PACE, despite not necessarily having the quietest winter tires on it, at all speed levels"   https://insideevs.com/audi-e-tron-is-the-quietest-ev-in-bjorn-nylands-tests/   IN SHANGHAI, EVERY IKEA DELIVERY IS NOW MADE WITH AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE "In 2018, Ingka Group–the parent company of Ikea–made a bold pledge: By 2025, the company will deliver every item worldwide by electric vehicle. It started with a closer-range target of accomplishing the full switch to EVs in five cities–New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Amsterdam, and Shanghai–by 2020." writes Fast Compnay: "As of January 23, it’s already reached that goal in Shanghai. The company announced that in the inner city of Shanghai, all home deliveries are now carried out by electric vehicle."   https://www.fastcompany.com/90297201/in-shanghai-every-ikea-delivery-is-now-made-with-an-electric-vehicle   LOTUS AND WILLIAMS TEAM UP FOR RUMORED ELECTRIC HYPERCAR "Sports car maker Lotus and Williams Advanced Engineering have officially announced a new strategic partnership which will allow the two companies to share “research and development into advanced propulsion technologies.” " says Anthony Karr at Motor1.com: "Autocar claims the Norfolk-based brand is actually developing a hybrid hypercar codenamed Omega. Lotus is believed to be leading the development to ensure the car carries the brand’s DNA and meets its criteria for lightness. Williams will contribute its technical expertise in electric systems to the project and will probably supply the batteries. It is believed the Omega hypercar will use “at least two electric motors” in an all-wheel-drive powertrain configuration. Advanced battery technology should provide a range of more than 250 miles (402 kilometers) between two charges with a fast charging option available."   https://www.motor1.com/news/302878/lotus-williams-partnership-hypercar-rumors/   MORE TESLOOP HIGH MILEAGAE "Tesloop’s Model X, named Deuxy, just hit the 350,000 mile threshold, and founder Haydn Sonnad took to YouTube to share some lessons learned on the road to that impressive milestone. Battery degradation had been of particular importance in Tesloop’s vehicles because they not only put a lot of miles on their vehicles, but did so by loading their vehicles up every day and running routes back to back, with Supercharging sessions in between to fill the batteries back up." reports Kyle for CleanTechnica: "After putting over 350,000 miles on Deuxy, Tesloop recorded a 13% degradation in the capacity of the battery — compared to the range per charge it had when new. That translates to a range of 215 miles / 346 kilometers at a 95% charge today compared to 247 miles / 398 kilometers at 95% when it was new."   https://cleantechnica.com/2019/01/28/350000-miles-in-a-tesla-model-x-just-18000-in-maintenance/   TOYOTA ADMITS TO LOSING PREVIOUSLY LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO TESLA And finally from Steven at InsideEVs: "According to Automotive News, Toyota’s defection rate is around nine percent. Interestingly, CEO of Toyota Motor North America Jim Lentz admitted that half of those previously loyal customers are moving to Tesla. Nonetheless, according to a report by Tesla, the Toyota Prius tops the list of non-Tesla cars that are traded in by Model 3 buyers. It will be interesting to see what the future brings for Toyota."   https://insideevs.com/toyota-admits-losing-sales-to-tesla/   COMMUNITY And thanks to MYEV.com they’ve set us another Question Of The Week. Read today’s show notes on https://www.evnewsdaily.com   Well good morning, good afternoon and good evening, wherever you are in the world, hello and welcome to the Sunday 22nd July edition of EV News Daily. It’s Martyn Lee here with the news you need to know about electric cars and the move towards sustainable transport.   Got a few new supporters to say hi to at the end of the show, and a massive gathering of EV drivers this weekend, I’ll fill you in after the news.   VW GROUP CANADA FORMS ‘ELECTRIFY CANADA' TO INSTALL ULTRA-FAST ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS "Volkswagen Group Canada announced the formation of Electrify Canada, a new company that will build an ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) direct current (DC) charging network across Canada. The EV chargers will be operational by the second quarter of 2019." according to Eric Waltz at Future Car: "Electrify Canada is an extension of Volkswagen's Electrify America, created as catalyst to promote the adoption of electric vehicles in retribution for the 2015 ‘dieselgate scandal' where VW admitted it tampered with diesel vehicle software in order to bypass stringent emissions requirements. Earlier this year, Electrify America announced plans to construct the largest EV charging network in the U.S., eventually exceeding the size of Telsa's planned Supercharger network. The initial plan includes the installation of 32 EV charging stations near major highways and in major metro areas including British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. Each charging site will have four chargers on average and use the non-proprietary DC fast charging technologies (CCS and CHAdeMO)." "Electrify Canada's EV charging power will range from 150kW to 350kW, offering rapid charging. The higher 350kW is suitable for longer range, larger battery vehicles that are expected to come to market over the next several years."   http://www.futurecar.com/2478/VW-Group-Canada-Forms-Electrify-Canada-to-Install-Ultra-Fast-Electric-Vehicle-Chargers   2018 HYUNDAI SONATA PLUG-IN HYBRID DROPS BASE PRICE BY $1,350 "Hyundai released pricing for the refreshed 2018 Sonata Hybrid back in April, but information about its plug-in-hybrid sibling was nowhere to be found -- until today." reports Andrew Krok at CNET.com: "Hyundai has finally released pricing for the 2018 Sonata Plug-In Hybrid. It will start at $33,250, which is $1,350 cheaper than last year's base price. But it's not like standard equipment has decreased. It mates a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle gas I4 to a 9.8-kWh battery and a 67-horsepower electric motor. Its 28-mile range on battery alone is 1 mile higher than last year. The battery can charge to full in less than three hours on a 240-volt Level 2 charger."   A WEEK TO FORGET FOR ELON? Or maybe not...according to Wired.com "Earlier this month, German car rental company Nextmove set a new range record in a Model 3, covering 622 miles on a single charge—more than twice the promised figure. OK, so they did it on a track, averaging just 22 mph, and with the car's Autopilot system working the steering and pedals. (They sat a dummy in the car for the 28-hour slog.)" "Munro & Associates reversed its findings. After completing its tear-down of the vehicle, it found Tesla could make about 30 percent profit on each vehicle, better than any other electric car. “I have to eat crow,” Sandy Munro told Autoline Network." "Tesloop which offers rides between cities in southern California and Nevada, published a blog post this week saying its Model S 90D had passed 400,000 miles and transported thousands of passengers. That certainly makes it one of the world's best-traveled Teslas, and Tesloop says the seats and interior have held up well." I would add to that Tweets from Elon including 5,000 new Model 3 reservations and 2,000 Model S and X reservations. And Elon saying "We gave up some grip and width in exchange for range. I would recommend stickier tires and wider on the rear for best performance" so that could bring the 0-60 time down to 3.3secs Plus Marques Brownlee getting to drive the Model 3 Performance. And Business Insider says Tesla will report it's earnings in a few weeks (I'll help them out with a specific date, Q2 2018 Reporting Date: August 1, 2018 maybe going to ir.tesla.com was a step too far for them). But they do say: "Tesla could lose 50% of its pre-orders for the Model 3 and still have 200,000 on the books. And sustaining production for the vehicle at a modest 2,000 per week still means about $5 billion in additional annual revenue. That's a tsunami of cash on the way for Tesla. For the bears, it's clear that wagering on the bad news has been sucker's bet."   But here's something which makes me a bit sad. WSJ have been strong critics of Tesla for years, but when Pullitzer Prize winning writer Dan Neil drove a Performance this week, he was blown away. Seriously impressed. But then those who are desperate to see TEsla fail took to the internet. "Out of control #Tesla short sellers harassed a well-respected journalist into deleting his Twitter account after wrote a positive review of the #Model3. They swamped WSJ's Dan Neil with hundreds of tweets in less than a day." "After hours of harassment from short sellers over trivial things like why he hasn't test driven the barely available I-Pace (especially given that this is his first review of the Model 3), Dan Neil deleted his Twitter account." So they're criticising him for NOT taking a free junket, at Jaguar's expense, to e wined and dined and given the VIP treatment to write glowing words about the I-PACE, but a long time Tesla critics admits he was wrong and is personally attacked? C'mon internet!   MORE DETAILS ON PORSCHE TURBO CHARGERS John Rosevear from Fool.com can come across as a bit savage towards Tesla on Twitter but then when he writes, is very knowledge and even handed: "[Porsche has] developed a key piece of new technology for Porsche's upcoming electric vehicles. While the electric Porsches will be able to recharge using the common CCS DC Fast recharging standard, they'll also accept proprietary Porsche "Turbo Chargers" that operate at 800 volts, twice the industry standard." "Porsche's dealers will have Turbo Chargers available, some other sites may install them -- and Porsche may offer them to owners for home installation. In fact, the first two Porsche Turbo Chargers are already installed and working, at a Porsche dealership near Berlin."   WEEKEND EVENT 1 EVs In The Park. Read today’s show notes on https://www.evnewsdaily.com   Well good morning, good afternoon and good evening, wherever you are in the world, hello and welcome to the Thursday 19th July edition of EV News Daily. It’s Martyn Lee here with the news you need to know about electric cars and the move towards sustainable transport.   NEWS IN BRIEF *VW's North American CEO, Hinrich Woebcken, told Autocar that it's future EV's, cars like the I.D. Crozz and I.D. Buzz would need to be built in North America rather than imported * The new Nissan LEAF is the best-selling electric vehicle in Europe for the first half of this year, selling 18,000, and that's now 37,000 it total for the new model Europe since last October * Volkswagen Motorsport, fresh from setting records with the I.D. R Pikes Peak racer, has urged World Rally Championship to find an alternative energy solution for the series, including electric drivetrains from 2020   TESLA MODEL S LOGS OVER 400,000 MILES IN THREE YEARS Congratulations eHawk! Tesloop, the shuttle service in California and Nevada, have a habit of christening their cars and it's eHawk which we're celebrating today, because 400,000 miles just ticked over on the clock. "eHawk has undergone three major services during its time with Tesloop" says Stephen Edelstein on Digital Trends: "The car’s front drive unit (this is an all-wheel drive “D” model with electric motors for the front and rear axles) was replaced at 36,404 miles. The car’s 90-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack has also been replaced twice: in August 2016 at 194,237 miles, and in January 2018, at 324,044 miles. "But the battery packs weren’t replaced because they were too degraded, according to Tesloop. The first replacement would not have been necessary if a firmware update had been available earlier, the company said. The car’s range estimator would decrease by 10 miles, even without any loss of charge, something Tesla attributed to an issue with the software that calculates range. The second pack was replaced when the car was brought in for an unrelated issue, Tesloop said." And in case you're wondering, yes Tesla did all that work for free. With an 8 year warranty, and at the current mileage, eHawk will be a million-mile Model S after 8 years.   https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/tesloop-tesla-model-s-90d-covers-400000-miles/   BMW i3 120AH RUMOURED TO HAVE A RANGE OF OVER 350 KM "The BMW i3 and i3s models will soon get a bump in range" according to the experts in know over at BMW Blog: "An i3 120Ah model is launching late this year – early 2019 for some markets – bringing a bigger capacity battery pack and implicitly longer driving range. Intensive preparations are underway in the background for the debut of a BMW i3 120Ah , which promises a standard range, according to NEDC, of over 350 kilometers – around 217 miles" Will BMW keep the range extender?   https://www.bmwblog.com/2018/07/17/bmw-i3-120ah-rumored-to-have-a-range-of-over-350-km   VOLVO XC60 EV VERSIONS HINTED WITH B4, B5 TRADEMARKS ANTHONY ALANIZ, Motor1.com USA: "Volvo trademarked both the XC60 B4 AWD and XC60 B5 AWD nameplates. Deciphering the trademarked names is easy. The B4 and B5 likely denote the XC60’s powertrain, which would be on brand for the automaker. You see, Volvo signifies its petrol powertrains with T – T5, T6, or T8 (plug-in hybrid). Diesel engines go under D4, D5, D6. If Volvo is introducing a new line of powertrains, then a new designation is needed. And if Volvo is pushing to sell electric vehicles, then B for battery almost makes too much sense."   https://uk.motor1.com/news/252974/volvo-xc60-b4-b5-trademarks/   GERMANY ORDERS TESLA DRIVERS TO PAY BACK EV SUBSIDY Imagine getting a free $5,000 subsidy off a new Tesla, having it on your driveway and using it every day, and then getting a letter from the government saying you have to pay back the grant. Because that's what has happened to Tesla owners in Germany. "Germany's Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control said in a statement on Tuesday that approximately 800 Tesla Model S owners who purchased their vehicles before March 6 must pay back a €4,000 (about $4,650) EV subsidy" as reported by Andrew Krok for CNET's Roadshow. The issue comes down to whether a base Model S can be bought for 60,000 Euro, which at Germany decided you couldn't then decide you could, and now seem to have decided you can't. Maybe someone at the government just needs to go to the Design Studio, select the base car with no options, see that it's under 60k and made a decision. It doesn't help that the grant is also paid for by other German car makers. Oopsie. TEsla said: "The arbitrary decision to temporarily remove Tesla from the list of vehicles eligible for the Environmental Bonus (Umweltbonus) was unjustified, contrary to the stated goals of the program, and unfair to our customers," said a Tesla spokesperson in an emailed statement. "We are appealing [the German government's] decision to take this action against our pre-March 2018 customers. To make sure our customers are not harmed by this decision, we will cover the cost of the bonus for them until the issue is resolved."   https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/germany-tesla-model-s-subsidy-payback/   LG CHEM TO BUILD $1.8 BLN EV BATTERY PLANT IN CHINA "South Korea’s LG Chem plans to invest $1.77 billion to build its second electric car battery plant in China to meet growing demand, a company spokesman said on Wednesday" Reuters reports: "The investment will be made by 2023 to increase its total output capacity to 32 gigawatt hours per year, or batteries for around 500,000 electric vehicles, the company spokesman said. LG will break ground on the new factory in October and expects to begin production in October 2019."   https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-usa/pompeo-says-north-korea-deal-may-take-some-time-sanctions-to-remain-idUSKBN1K82HV   ELECTRIC CAR SUPERCHARGING HUBS FOR UK Pivot Power is the UK company building out a £1.6bn network of 45 grid-connected batteries with the added bonus of charging stations attached to them. Utility Week says: "Pivot Power has revealed more details on its plans to build an electric vehicle (EV) charging “superhub” with a 50MW battery on the outskirts of Southampton. The battery will have storage capacity of 50MWh and cost up to £25 million. Construction is expected to begin in March and be completed three months later in July 2019. The superhub will offer rapid charging for as many as 100 cars at a time and will be capable of supporting the fastest chargers currently available."   https://utilityweek.co.uk/ev-charging-superhub-with-50mw-battery-coming-to-southampton/   TESLA VIRTUAL POWER PLANT IN AUSTRALIA PASSES INITIAL TESTING Steve Hanley for Clean Tehnica is keeping up to date on the world's largest virtual power plant, 50,000 5kW rooftop solar systems coupled to 13.5kWh storage in Australia. "So far, the installation of rooftop solar and storage batteries has been completed on 100 homes and the results are everything Tesla expected them to be. In addition to completing the remainder of the Tesla Virtual Power Plant system, the Liberal government that came into power in March is expected to announce $100 million in grants to install battery storage systems on 40,000 more homes in South Australia. Other companies, particularly sonnen, will be involved in the battery storage aspects of the systems for those additional homes."   AND FINALLY  - LEAF DISCOUNTS Waded Malone at InsideEVs has news to put a smile on prospective Nissan LEAF buyers: "Nissan is now offering $2,000 cash back if you finance through Nissan Motors Acceptance Corporation (NMAC). So long as you live in a state that has adopted a ZEV mandate that is. As is usually the case for electric vehicles from traditional automakers, the best offers are relegated to a few states."       COMMUNITY YouTube comments   You can listen to all previous 184 episodes of this podcast on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, YouTube, TuneIn, Stitcher, and the blog https://www.evnewsdaily.com/ – remember to subscribe, which means you don’t have to think about downloading the show each day, plus you get it first and free and automatically. The key to success is not about being perfect but having the confidence to pursue your vision in your market. Haydn Sonnad takes smart marketing to another level with TESLOOP and how he pitched this to Elon Musk. The first thing he knew was to not compete with Uber or Lyft. Rather, his company puts the customer first. To do this, Haydn becomes the customer first before giving out something to other people. Haydn explains how TESLOOP offers a cheaper way of traveling in the long haul from San Diego to Palm Springs.

Tesla is changing the game for what an automobile can do, and can be. Not only are Tesla cars electric, but their data streams can function across a network with unprecedented interactivity. Add increasing autonomous driving capabilities, and the automotive equation changes massively.   My guest today is Rahul Sonnad, the CEO of Tesloop. Tesloop is in operation today, and scaling to make a city-to-city network of Tesla cars available as a fast, affordable, comfortable alternative to plane travel or self driving.   The Tesloop vision extends to putting unused time from any Tesla owner’s vehicle into the system, having it earn money for the owner when not using it personally. Tesloop will base part of these capabilities on the Carma blockchain that creates an efficient market for cars, drivers, passengers and all aspects of repair and maintenance.     More at: https://www.MindAndMachine.io
