America on the Road Host Jack Nerad has a new favorite car. The 2025 Volvo V60 T8 Polestar Engineered has all the things an auto journalist wants in a vehicle — high horsepower, exhilarating performance, sharp handling, impressive tech, great looks, superior comfort — and it's a STATION WAGON. Ding! Ding! Ding! This high-performance luxury wagon blends power, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology in a package that will surprise — or maybe shock — sports car drivers who try to take it on. Designed for those who appreciate versatility without compromising performance, this Eurostyle station wagon offers an engaging driving experience with a refined interior and advanced safety features. As Nerad says, “I just plain like it.” And he'll have all the details on why — starting with its 455 velvety horsepower — coming up. In our other road test this week, guest co-host Matt DeLorenzo details his weeklong stint in the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. With a combined 192 horsepower on tap and 47 mpg fuel economy, the Sonata Hybrid is right in the wheelhouse of the guy who runs tightwadgarage.com. Matt and Jack will have more on this often-overlooked, high-value midsize sedan in this episode. We have a terrific guest for you this week. Dave Buchko is a senior product communications specialist at Lucid Motors and an expert on the EV brand's new Gravity SUV. Jack Nerad caught up with him at the recent Chicago auto show, and we think you'll enjoy the in-depth discussion of the new battery-electric SUV and its unique features. In the news this week, say hello at in-car AI. BMW is about to introduce new models with Superbrains. We'll tell you what that means and more coming up. Kia has revealed details on its upcoming EV4 battery-electric hatchback, and we'll share them with you. Say it isn't so, but a rumor is flying through the industry that Volvo will quit making station wagons. But we'll tell you what is most likely to happen coming up. And in the most under-reported story of the year, the United Auto Workers has fully endorsed the Trump Administration's suggested tariffs. We'll tell you more and give our reactions. As always, a lot to talk about this week. We thank you for joining us. The 2024 Honda Passport Trailsport adds a dash of rugged machismo to Honda's two-row people mover. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that sends 280 hp through a nine-speed transmission, this all-wheel-drive Trailsport has enough oomph to handle tasks. Evolving the third-gen Passport is the Trailsport package, which adds all-terrain tires, revised suspension tuning, and Honda's i-VVTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system. This Honda rides the wave of crossover popularity and adds a healthy dose of adventure-ready hardware. On the other side of the automotive spectrum, the once-thriving mid-size sedan segment is thinning. Hyundai's Sonata is seeing a similar reflection with its sales a fraction of its early 2010s peak. That said, this eighth-generation Sonata features a 1.6-liter turbocharged I4 that sends 180 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque through the front wheels by way of an eight-speed automatic transmission. On this episode of Talking Cars with the Boss, Wesley Wren chats with Natalie Neff about two vehicles that couldn't be further apart in reality but are sitting close on the sales charts. The pair talk about their experiences with these vehicles, the changing automotive landscape, and the proliferation of adventure-focused crossovers. Closing the show, the pair decide which one they'd add to their driveway.

Send us a Text Message.First, Royce asks some pertinent questions about the alleged assassin's vehicle(s), one article saying he rode his bicycle to the rally, then another article said he drove a white van, and a third claims he drove a Hyundai Sonata! Then, Mayorka the Marxist appoints a rabid Trump hater to the investigative overview panel, while the Secret Service head, an incompetent, bumbling, ignorant DEI hire, claims to not have the answers to any of the questions thrown at her today on Capitol Hill. Also, a look at the actual roof of the building the alleged shooter allegedly fired from and its immediate relation to another building that could very well have been used by a second shooter. The kid may have been just a distraction to cover the actions of others. So many discrepancies and things that simply don't fit the official stories and more are undoubtedly on the way, and Royce cuts through the crap with simple questions.Article link:Photos of Thomas Crooks at Butler Rally Prove Snipers Were 40 Feet from Him as Shots Rang Out | The Gateway Pundit | by Benjamin WetmoreThe American Police Hall of FameMuseum and Shooting Center (open to public), Law Enforcement and Civilian TrainingFreedom GunsFirearms, Ammunition, Accessories, Training classes The Gun Site9-Lane 25 yard indoor Shooting Range, Gun Store, Training classesWJS GunsGun and Outdoor Shop, ammo, accessories, fishing tackle, moreSHOOTINGCLASSES.COMOnline business operations platform for firearms instructors, trainees, and Shooting RangesCounter Strike TacticalBest Little Gun Store in Melbourne, Florida! From the BG Ad Group Studio this is your news minute on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast presented by Credit Union of Georgia. Today is Wednesday, July 17th, and I'm Keith Ippolito. One Killed in Multi-Car Collision in Austell Tragedy struck in Austell on Tuesday afternoon after a multi-car collision left one person dead. The incident occurred on Hicks Road, near Cobb Fire Department's Station 7. At around 3:30 p.m., a white GMC Sierra veered across the center line, colliding with a black GMC Yukon and causing it to flip onto its side. The Sierra continued its path of destruction, crashing into a silver Ford Escape and pushing it into a guardrail over a creek, before finally hitting a grey Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Ford Escape sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of those involved are yet to be released as authorities work to notify next of kin. The driver of the Sierra and the Sonata were hospitalized with visible injuries, while the Yukon driver escaped unharmed. Police expect charges to be filed and urge anyone with information to contact them at 770-499-3987 For more news about our community, visit mdjonline.com. The Unnamed Automotive Podcast arrives this week with some engaged discussions about a pair of mainstream, yet exciting vehicles. But before any reviews, Benjamin shares his notes from his recent track day, where he tagged in his beefy Cadillac CTS-V for his nimble Datsun Z. After that, Benjamin describes the 2024 Hyundai Sonata, a strong player in the contracted world of mid-sized sedans. With a new design, and reworked packaging, can the new Sonata blow away the popularity of the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry? Then Sami talks about the 2024 Lexus RX 450h+, a PHEV version of the ever popular Lexus RX. On a long road trip, Sami had the time to experience how practical, efficient and luxurious the new plug-in RX is, but has a few issues with its approach to technology. Is it worth the nearly $20k upgrade from the entry level RX? Thanks for listening!

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A Jackson family is reeling from the loss of a popular DJ and small business owner killed while driving on North State Street. The gunfire that took Anthony Davis Jr.'s life, robbed his family and the community of a hard worker and new father. “He was a very lively person, full of life,” said Jennifer Davis. “He had so many aspirations and dreams that he was trying to reach for.” Three days after Davis was shot and killed, his mother Jennifer, and father Anthony Davis Sr. were surrounded by family as they remembered their youngest son. He was known to many as “DJ Choo.” Monday evening, Davis's supervisor contacted his mother when he couldn't reach him. “And he said that Anthony has not made it back to work and that's unusual, and he went to go drop a client off because he works at Enterprise,” said Jennifer Davis. Relatives located Anthony's phone and learned of the tragic news. “You're working. You're on your way to work, doing your job, and all of a sudden you just leave this world, just like that. Point blank,” said Anthony Davis Sr. “I mean I don't understand. I never will.” The close-knit family is still in shock and at a loss for words when sharing the news with his young nieces and nephews. “He's the baby of seven, the baby,” said sister Antoinette Davis. “He just had a birthday, just had a child. Like I say, he was happy to be a dad. The city loved him.” The family blames high-powered guns in the hands of uncaring people for the violence. Despite their suffering, their faith has given them strength. They are asking for the public's help with solving the case. “Even to the people that did that you know I can't hate them. I even forgive them, and I don't even know who they are,” said the grieving mother. “When my son left this world he left doing what he loved to do and that's work.” Davis was the 12th fatal shooting victim of the year. Jackson Police have recovered one of the vehicles used during the city's latest homicide. The black Chrysler 300 was found at Autumn Place Apartments in South Jackson. A black Hyundai Sonata has not been located. So, far no arrests have been made in Monday's deadly shooting.
What in the Actual F**k happened that made slinging a Hyundai Sonata seem reasonable?!

Welcome to the David Farmer YouTube channel! In this video, we'll dive into the world of Google ads and the shift towards automation. As someone who frequently interacts with dealers, I know how crucial it is for them to maximize their results from Google ads. Recently, I attended a presentation by a website provider to a dealership, where they highlighted the benefits of their service, including the ability to dynamically create ads for monthly specials.Imagine having an ad automatically synced with Google ads, promoting a Hyundai Sonata for just $199 a month. Sounds great, right? Well, a decade ago, it would have been a brilliant idea to have data-driven ads on Google. However, Google ads has evolved significantly over the past ten years, and today, I want to discuss how dealers can optimize their Google ads account for maximum performance. When it comes to your dealership's website, the ultimate goal is to drive quality traffic that converts into leads. It's not just about having a brochure-like website; it's about generating opportunities for dialogue and in-person sales. So, let's explore key areas within Google ads that dealers should focus on to get the most out of their ads and website.First, let's talk about vehicle listing ads (VLAs). You've probably come across these ads before, but they have become even more essential recently. VLAs are display ads that appear at the top of Google search results, directing users to your dealership's Vehicle Display Page (VDP). This is an effective way to attract customers actively searching for inventory you have available. And guess what? VLAs are not limited to car dealerships; RV and Motorsports dealerships can also benefit from them. Now, optimizing VLAs is crucial. It starts with ensuring your vehicle images are carefully selected and meet Google's guidelines. Avoid overlaying watermarks, logos, or any modifications that don't comply with the rules. Your images should showcase the vehicles attractively, without any distractions. I've shared some examples and guidelines in this video to help you optimize your VLA images effectively.Moving on, let's discuss Performance Max campaigns. Google has recently introduced this powerful feature that allows marketers to advertise across various platforms, including Google Search, YouTube, Google Maps, and Gmail, using a single ad type. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss. By leveraging Performance Max, you can include different assets such as images, videos, text, and URLs in one campaign, while Google's automation places your ads where they're most effective. The benefits of Performance Max campaigns are vast. They offer cost-effective CPCs (Cost Per Click), and their automated bidding strategies help you reach the right customers. However, it's essential to be mindful of campaign resets. Making major changes frequently disrupts the learning process and increases costs. The key is to find the right balance and make modifications strategically to avoid triggering resets. In conclusion, if you want to make the most of Google ads in 2023, I highly recommend utilizing Vehicle Listing Ads and exploring Performance Max campaigns. These automated features have the potential to significantly enhance your dealership's online presence and drive impressive results. Take a close look at your Google ads account, analyze your CPCs, and consider optimizing your campaigns accordingly. Remember, there are secrets to achieving low CPCs, so feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more.#GoogleAds #CarDealers #intice #VehicleListingAds #performancemax

On this week's episode of Zooming with DRIVEN, Dean regales us with tales of his MX-5 racing exploits from the last-ever motorsport event at Pukekohe Park Raceway, Damien tells us why the 34th series of Top Gear has been cancelled and Sam wonders how many whale penises it take to upholster a car interior. Really. Dean tells us how David was down at the Toyota Festival at Highlands Park to see the freshly-revealed Hilux GR Sport, a more off-road focused Hilux that, unlike other GR Sport cars, gets a slight bump in power as well as some trick off-road suspension and lots of visual upgrades. And that Ford coincidentally revealed a similarly- tweaked Wildtrak X version of the new Ranger on EXACTLY THE SAME DAY. What are the odds? Damien then tells us the reason why the 34th season of Top Gear was cancelled, before getting Sam excited about the Kia EV5 concept reveal, which packs the same weird steering wheel and impractical doors that got him so excited over the EV9 concept (and heart broken when they didn't make it to the production version...), as well as the very cool new Hyundai Sonata that we won't actually be getting here... Dean then digs deep into his victorious weekend at Pukekohe in the DRIVEN Mazda MX-5 before we finish things off with a special April Fool's Day game of True of False, where Damien tests Sam and Dean's knowledge of car features that were either April Fool's jokes or actual real features - including one company that offered the option of leather made from whale penises. Or was that an April Fool's joke? Find out in this episode of Zooming with DRIVEN!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today Ete sits down with Kyle Moody of MoodyBlu Express. If you live in the Heber Valley chances are very good you've seen Kyle Moody. In fact, you've probably talked with him or gotten his help at the local Smith's, where he's worked for the past 13 years. Perhaps you've seen his picture on the Smith's shopping carts. Or maybe you're at the self-checkout and you can't figure out why you're not getting the mix & match discount even though you triple-checked that you have the right products, and nothing is working, you're starting to panic, and there's a good chance you just might kick the machine and walk out the door grocery-less. Then, a guy with tattoos and dark, well-coiffed hair (yeah, that guy) comes over, patiently talks you down, and fixes everything with a few keystrokes. (True story.) That's Kyle. Wherever you run into him, he always has a smile, a friendly word, and a willingness to help. This genuine and constant kindness has rightfully earned him trust and goodwill in the community. And that has translated into support and encouragement from the people of the Heber Valley in his new entrepreneurial venture, MoodyBlu Express, a shuttle service that runs out of Heber.Kyle's childhood was full of stark and confusing contradictions. Kyle, who's home-life was split between time with his mom and time with his biological dad, describes his upbringing as living "two separate lives." At his mother and step-father's home (Kyle considers his step-father to be his dad) things were pretty normal, stable, secure. His needs were met. But when he went to stay with his father, things were quite different. His biological father was often homeless. Kyle remembers being with his bio dad and having to sleep at a bus stop because they had nowhere to go. Kyle suffered abuse. Even as he recounts these dark moments, he gives his dad credit for having a true desire to spend time with him. This is typical of Kyle. He looks for the good in people. Considering the adversity he's had to deal with, and there has been plenty, it's easy to wonder why he's filled with so much optimism, compassion, and true love for people. He points to one motivation. No description of Kyle could be written without a discussion of his faith. He wears his faith on his sleeve, with absolute sincerity and without apology. "Becoming a believer" in Jesus, he tells us, was a turning point, the turning point, in his life. It is how and why he can accept and love people as they are. In 2019, Kyle launched his business. MoodyBlu Express (the name is a nod to the nickname he'd been given by a dear friend) is a shuttle service that focuses on transporting people between Heber and the Salt Lake airport, though they provide transportation to other places as well. Kyle got his start with one vehicle, a Hyundai Sonata left to him when his grandfather died. Three weeks later, the car was totaled. Other people would have given up. But Kyle did not. The story of MoodyBlu Express is full of challenges, including some pretty major ones–the sort that leave you crying on the shower floor–that were often overcome when people came to his aid, seemingly out of the blue, and just in the nick of time. While the timing of this help might be a strange coincidence, the fact that people wanted to help him, was not. After years of sowing seeds of kindness and service to others, he was gratefully able to reap some returned kindness–help when he most needed it. And now there is plenty to show for pushing through those hardships. Business has "exploded," according to Kyle. He's been able to add more vehicles and drivers to his fleet. Online reviews are glowing. COVID has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for MoodyBlu. Kyle is excited about his prospects and looking forward to "seeing how far I can go." Hear Kyle's story in this episode of The Company Next Door.
We recently purchased a 2020 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid for our test program, and our experts discuss how it compares to the regular Sonata, as well as competitors like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord hybrids. Ford has announced an EV F-150 pickup, and we talk about whether truck buyers are ready to embrace electric trucks like the Rivian R1T and Tesla Cybertruck, and if they can meet towing needs.
