Xperia 1 VIIの交換対応サイトに“不具合発覚”も、修正済み　7月16日15～20時に判定した場合は「再確認を」。　ソニーが7月16日に公開した「Xperia 1 VII」の製品交換対応ページにおいて、交換対象かどうかを判定するIMEI確認プログラムに不具合があったことが分かった。7月16日15時から20時までにこの確認ツールを利用した場合、対象・非対象の判定結果が誤って表示される可能性があった。

「Xperia 1 VII」発表　目玉は被写体を逃さない動画撮影機能、ウォークマンのDNAで高音質化　Geminiや編集マジックにも対応。　ソニーは5月13日、スマートフォンXperiaのハイエンドモデル「Xperia 1 VII（マーク7）」を発表した。発売時期はキャリアモデルとソニー直販モデルともに6月上旬以降を予定する。SIMロックフリーモデルの型番は「XQ-FS44」で、市場想定価格（全て税込み）は以下の通り。

ミッドレンジ「Xperia 10 VI」の後継モデルは2025年秋頃投入へ。　ソニーが5月13日、Xperiaの新モデル「Xperia 1 VII」を発表した。例年なら、同時期にミッドレンジモデルの「Xperia 10」シリーズも発表しており、2024年にはXperia 1 VIと同じタイミングで「Xperia 10 VI」を発表した。

ドコモ、au、ソフトバンクが「Xperia 1 VII」6月上旬発売　最大3万円相当の還元も。　NTTドコモ、KDDI、ソフトバンクは、6月5日にソニーのハイエンドモデル「Xperia 1 VII」を発売する（NTTドコモは6月上旬以降予定）。端末価格はauが22万9900円（税込み、以下同）、ソフトバンクが24万7680円。

ソニー認定Xperia 1 VI 用アラミド繊維ケース「DURO」発売、カメラ周囲もガード　Deffから。　ディーフは、5月22日にXperia 1 VI用アラミド繊維ケース「Ultra Slim ＆ Light Case DURO for Xperia 1 VI」を発売する。Deffダイレクトショップの販売価格は6480円（税込み）。

「Xperia 1 VII」は発売時から衛星につながる　KDDI、「au Starlink Direct」の対応機種を一挙追加。　KDDIと沖縄セルラー電話は、衛星とスマートフォンの直接通信サービス「au Starlink Direct」の対応機種として13機種を5月13日から順次追加する。これにより、au Starlink Directは63機種・800万台以上のauスマートフォンで利用可能になる。
