    Losing My Daily Publishing Streak!!!

There are things happening in my life currently that may hinder my ability to publish a new daily episode in the coming weeks.  Am I bummed about it?  Not really. While daily content publishing is important to me and the goal of hitting 365 days of continual podcasting is still something I want to achieve, I know there are more important things in life than my work. Also, just because I miss a day or two here and there doesn't mean I'll lose all my progress.  It's really just a matter of picking up where I left off.  My audiences will still be engaged.  My visibility and online presence won't have just disappeared.  And the skillsets I've developed and honed will always be with me.If I do miss a day, understand that it's me exercising boundaries between my work and the things that truly matter in my life.  Yes my work and my content publishing and marketing matter.  But the things I'm doing all of this work for matter more. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! My Content Flow and How I Built Up to It

I'm outputting a lot of content.  On the surface it would seem impossibly to manage all of content I publish every day.  So here's how I do it. I started with this podcast.  My goal was to publish a new episode every day for 100 days so I kept the process as simple as possible and just recorded everything on my phone. After a brief while I decided I might as well record a video version of the show so I can have daily content for my YouTube channel as well.  It was easy enough to pull the audio from the clips and use it as the podcast version. Once I got used to that level of output I began cutting the videos into shorter clips to use as reels on Instagram and other short form content platforms. From there I then added original short form reels that weren't cut from the podcasts videos.  And I'm also now doing carousel posts to add even more variety to my content publishing. It's a lot I know.  And I'm on all the major platforms too.  But I want you to understand that I built my way up to the level of content output, only adding a new thing when I was comfortably handling my current load. If you're new I suggest just picking one platform and get a handle on publishing once a day.  Start with that as your baseline content flow and you can build from there. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! In this age of content creation, everyone has an audience.  The trick is to show up consistently on the platforms for that audience to find you.  Publishing regularly creates the visibility necessary for your audience to find you. There are people out there who are lookin lg for exactly what you're sharing.  It's just a matter of showing up consistently enough for them to find  you. So do the work. I had an interaction recently on one of my social accounts that I thought warranted sharing with you… so that you can avoid making the same mistakes with your content marketing. It seems that this individual's strategy is to DM accounts that could potentially be good fits for the service they provide. In the message they highlighted all the feature and benefits of their service and how they can help me improve engagement on my account. I respectfully declined.  They accepted but respectfully asked in return if I could explain why I declined. And so I thought I'd answer in this episode. 1) I'm not looking for that service.  I don't want to outsource something I've not yet gained a mastery in.  Sure it would be a short cut, but it would also short cut my own growth and capability. 2) I have no idea the value they bring.  Sure they stated as much in the DM, but that type of cold contacting doesn't really work with me (and I'd wager with many others).  For this type of service, I want to know who I'm hiring and what they bring to the table. That's what content marketing allows.  People opt in to more and more value until the eventuality of a financial exchange for further value.  It's so much more effective a strategy because you're attracting clients as opposed to cold contacting. Conversions will be higher and you won't be limited by your ability to message people. If you want to do cold contacting, by all means go ahead.  But I suggest also making sure you have a content marking funnel as well to generate traffic that's targeted and looking for your service. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! My Analytics Are Terrible - What's the End Game?

I recently received a comment from a listener wondering what the end game was for continually publishing content given that my metrics and analytics are pretty bad on some of the platforms.  So I wanted to answer their question and explain the big picture of my entire content marketing strategy. This podcast and the YouTube version haven't quite gotten the traction that I know it will eventually will.  Even with daily publishing, the numbers are only just recently inching forward. Givens this, the question then was, where does the revenue come from?  And why keep going if there's no perceived progress being made?I've addressed progress in past episodes so let me talk about the big picture. First, my network marketing business is my primary income and has been since 2013.  Being in the top ten of the company the entire time, I've had the luxury of pouring myself fully into learning and exploring my interests — one of those things being content marketing.Second, the platform that is currently yielding the most return is Facebook.  So outside of that, I'm still very much learning the ins and outs of the other platforms: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn. And this accounts for why the analytics in those platforms aren't as advanced as one might hope.   Also too, understand that I've only really been publishing content on these platforms consistently since Sept 1.  So the reality is that I'm still very early in the game. Lastly, the other main reason for continually publishing content despite slow results is that it's an educational process for me.  Yes I want views and likes and subscribers and monetization.  But more than that I want to learn.  And the most effective way I learn is in the doing. So it's a growth and expansion of self.  It's a developmental goal.  As we talked about in yesterdays episode, achievement is so much more effective when you have this in place.  =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Setting Two Types of Goals - the Game Changer

Play Episode Listen Later May 11, 2023 7:05

There's are two types of goals — destination goals and developmental goals.  Both are important to living a life of growth.  One actually makes the other more effective. When we set goals, most of us set destination goals.  These are goals targeted on very specific outcomes, tangible or intangible.  They can be business goals, relationship goals, health goals. These goals give us targets to work towards, a future to be excited about. The second type of goal is developmental goals. These are all about who you want and NEED to become to achieve your destination goals. Growth is necessary for the fulfillment of any destination goal. You have to develop your skill set and you mindset. Otherwise you'll continue getting more of the same results. So in a sense, developmental goals make your destination goals much more quickly attainable.  If you set a standard of who you want and need to be, then getting where you want to go will be much clearer. Setting both types of goals supercharges your jour trajectory and will be the game changer in your performance. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! I saw a post recently from a good friend and colleague that addressed an apparent elephant in the room, that elephant being that she is a network marketer. And I love and support it.  To proudly claim network marketing as your chosen profession is important and explaining to people what we actually do helps bridge the disconnect that still exists in the general perception. However, that we still have to explain it, that the network marketing profession is still an elephant in the room points to reality that we need to face. The business model itself isn't the cause for this.  Rather, it's how we practice and operate our business. Much of this can fixed with one simple transition — learning how to market online so that you can generate customer sales. It's simple.  Network marketing doesn't have to be an elephant in the room if we didn't do things in a way that makes people want to avoid us.  Learning marketing and generating sales without the need to talk to your friends and family is the shortest path to clearing our name. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! The simple answer is to be willing to always learn.  Not knowing how to do something should never be the the excuse you stop doing what you need to do to achieve your dreams3) You haven't created structure - when your goal is new and fresh, it's easy to stay consistent because you're excited and enthusiastic and motivated to work.  But that all wears off and when it does structure will keep you accountable.  4) You're not attached to a strong purpose - having a strong WHY is the foundation of everything.  With it, you can face any adversity that comes your way.  A strong purpose keeps you consistent =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! You might think that procrastination and cramming are related, that the former leads to the latter.  But not always.Procrastination is an avoidance pattern.  You put off doing a thing because it presents some level of discomfort.  Instead, you replace it with something less challenging, something to distract you from the discomfort you know you'll eventually have to face. For the self-employed entrepreneur, procrastination is a death sentence for your business.  Putting things off means pushing off potential profit.  Procrastinate long enough and you go out of business. So we have to set deadlines for ourselves, hard dates to accomplish a task — write content, publish a post, launch a course.   Without hard dates, we can find ourselves in a perpetual state of revising, adding and subtracting from the project we need to launch. Set a hard deadline and commit to it.  Use every ounce of discipline you have to not stray.  Even if you miss the mark a bit, at least you'll have made some headway and have data to make improvements moving forward. As you get closer to these deadlines you'll want to cram.  You are undoubtedly on a grow path so that means continually learning and expanding your knowledge and expertise. And you'll want to include everything you've learned to the very last minute.   That's normal.  You'll always feel like it's not ready so you'll push and cram to to the very last minute to make the thing the best it can be. So you see, in this context procrastination and cramming aren't related.  Procrastination is an unproductive pattern of avoidance and cramming is wanting to deliver the best possible product you can. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! We've claimed this for a long time now, that network marketing owes its effectiveness to word wolf mouth marketing.  But it's not actually accurate. For years I believe this because it made logical sense.  Our primary “marketing” was talking to people about our products or services or business opportunity.Word of mouth marketing is much more than that.  It has the added dimension of virality.  Well before the advent of internet and social media platforms, ideas spread because they elicited a strong enough reaction for people to pass it on. The stronger the reaction, good or bad, the more viral the thing becomes. In network marketing, if your customers achieve demonstrable life-changing results with your products and services, then those products and service do have the potential to be passed on by word of mouth garnering you referrals and more potential business. What we do as network marketing distributors isn't that.  When we invite people to take a look at our products, services, and business opportunity, we're inviting them to a sales presentation.  This process isn't unlike those time-share presentations we all love so much. I point all this out because I want you to start owning that what you do as a network marketer is marketing and sales.  Owning this fact will help us shift primary activity from recruiting to actual marketing and sales. The movement is here.  Let's ReDEFINE Network Marketing!=============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Thankfully for most, the discomfort of hitting rock bottom far outweighs the discomfort of change.  So, making a change is the natural choice.Just be careful not to make decisions based in volatile emotional states.  If you choose a new course base on reactive fear and lack and desperation, you're less likely to see it through than if you were to choose a track that inspires and moves you. Now, if you're in a position of relative comfort and stability, change isn't quite so easy to face. Understand that you have to be proactive and adopt a growth mindset because the simple truth is that time is always moving forward and the world is always changing. And if you don't keep up, your current stability will gradually fade and you'll find yourself playing catch up. So change is inevitable… for everyone.  Be proactive and choose a life of growth and discovery. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! The internet, especially social media, can feel like a crowded space.  And if you're wanting to break into that space, if you want to stake your claim as an influencer, you have to stand out.But how?Chances are there are tons of people already doing what you're tying to accomplish, all of whom have the advantage of experience and expertise. The natural inclination is to do something completely different, to zig when everybody else is zagging, to come up with something so innovative and different, to be contrarian even.   The idea is you're innovation is going to be so groundbreaking that you end up creating an entirely new market.Unfortunately, the opposite ends up happening. You create something so new and different and innovative… something that people don't actually need nor are looking for. Look, I'm not telling you to NOT innovate.   But don't be different just for the sake of being different, just for the sake of hopefully eking out a space in a crowded market. Especially when you don't need to. To stand out in the social spheres all you need is to be authentically YOU. You are utterly and completely unique in your perspective, your voice, your experience, and personality.   Bringing that to your content, that authenticity, that humanity is what will draw your audience in.  It's what they will connect to and continue to come back for. So regardless if there are already people doing what you want to do, show up as YOU.  That's how you'll stand out.  =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Part 2 of why people are afraid of content creation we discuss the following:4. “I can't think of content”This is another legitimate concern especially given the standard of publishing at least one piece of content every day.  It certain was a worry for me. So here are a few things you can do- before starting out make a list of at least 25 topic ideas. This will help kick start your content creation - keep a running list; when ideas pop in your head, get into the habit of jotting them down immediately; I keep my running list on my phone because I pretty much have it with me at all times. - learn how ti leverage AI tools; while I haven't felt the need ti do this yet, many are turning to AI like Chat GPT to help generate topic ideas for content, especially content that people are searching for5. “I don't know where to start”It's overwhelming.  The online marketing space is vast. There are so many different avenues to follow and gurus to learn from and countless strategies. One thing I can suggest is following people who have achieved the results you're working towards.  Follow their trajectories can at the very least help you get started. And of course, I have the Re:DEFINE Network Marketing event on May 4-6 where I'll be teaching everything I've learned in the last year and a half intensively studying content marketing and social media marketing. I'll be teaching you principle-based skills that you can then translate into any strategy that suits your needs best. Registration for the early-bird pricing is still available so find the link below.=============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! There are a lot of reasons people are afraid and reluctant to get into the content creation space. In this two part series, we'll explore the ones most often expressed to me. 1. “I don't know how to make professional quality content.”You don't need to.  While I recognize the growing demand for content of high production value, this is not a real barrier to getting started.  Your production skills will naturally improve over time.  The main thing is you have to get started.2. “I don't want to be on camera.”While non-video content options are available, I always encourage stepping in front of the camera.  You can communicate so much more and get so much more across with video because there's so much more to communication than just words. Also, you're likely already posting content with yourself in the video.  It's just that it's for updates and sharing your “current situation”.   So it's just a matter of transitioning that content to stuff that's brings intentional value. 3.  “There are too many platforms and so many strategies!”That's of course true, but there's no rule saying you have to be on all of them at the same time.  Start small.  Choose the platform that you spend the most time on, the one that you like and enjoy the most. Then it's just a matter of posting content every day on that platform and you'll come to learn the best practices and strategies for that platform. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! The default setting is how you revert to when your conscious facilities aren't engaged.  We all have a default in every aspect of life.  And it's a matter of knowing what that default is if you want to make changes. This level of awareness is important in developing a high performance and success mindset. For example, my defaults around my health is such that I always get a regular workout in — even while on vacation.  I learned a long time ago that physical activity was integral to my metal and physical health so I developed the default of making sure I get that activity in regardless of my circumstance.Same with “work”.  My default around my goals is that I make sure to do something everyday to love the needle closer to fulfilling those goals.  Whether it's creating content, or writing, or even meeting new people and expanding my network, there's a consistent daily activity. That's what the default is.  It's your autopilot.  And it's largely responsible for the results you have in life because it runs the majority of the time. So if you want to make changes, the very first step is growing an awareness around your defaults.  If you don't, they'll always sabotage any work you do towards your new goals. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Here's Part 2 of why network marketers fail on social media. Perhaps the most important reason I wanted ti lean on social media and content creation for my marketing was to grow my audience.  After all, the health of any network marketing business rests on the health of one's “list”. With the social media “list” being your audience, it stands to logic that you'll want to consistently have new people tuning in to your content.  If not, then you'll be talking (and selling) to the same people over and over again. So, your content then has to provide value to your existing audience as well as the audience you hope to attract.  This requires much more intentionality and purposefulness with your content creation and publishing if you want to use social media to grow your network marketing business. The final reason why network marketers fail on social media is because they aren't willing to take the time and make the effort to actually learn it.  Which honestly, boggles my mind. Yes it can be daunting.  Yes it can be intimidating.  It can be overwhelming and confusing.  But so is everything when you first start it.As entrepreneurs, we must be willing to constantly learning and adapting and educating ourselves.  That's why I put together the Re:DEFINE Network Marketing event in May where I'll teach you everything you need to know to succeed on social media.Find the link below and register today. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! You can't always sell.  You're not the company. You're a person. People want to see you humanity, not a commercial for products you're hoping to profit from2. Marketing, especially social media marketing, is more than just advertising.  Copying and pasting corporate assets and copy from their website isn't what your audience wants to see from you3. When is the Right Time to Change Network Marketing Companies?

When is the right time to change network marketing companies?  Is there a right time to change network marketing companies? It depends. If you've struggled to reach your goals then likely it's a skills and personal growth issue rather than a company issue.  Switching companies isn't the answer to your network marketing woes. If you have reached a high level of success and achievement within your company but maybe have become unsure or uneasy about things, then this might be a valid time to have this conversation. Here are three criteria I think everyone should consider when thinking about changing network marketing companies:1) Is the company solvent or is there a downward trend that may lead to it closing its doors?I have many colleagues over the years achieve massive success and build huge organizations only to have it all disappear overnight because of mismanagement from the corporate leadership.2) Is the comp plan RELEVANT?About ten years ago, the conversation in network marketing shifted to focus more on customer sales rather than distributor recruitment.  However, comp plans didn't adjust to actually compensate the distributors for this shift.Only recently have network marketing companies updated their compensation plans to compensate for customer acquisition and sales.  This essential comp plan update will keep companies relevant and competitive in the marketplace. 3) Is the culture changing? It happens. If you're fortunate enough to be with a company that's ten years or older, then you'll likely experience this.  If the company culture shifts to something you don't want to be a part of, you can either break off and start your own independent team culture or seek out your ideal elsewhere. Dissatisfaction in this category ultimately results in decline in business.  So create or find a culture that feels right to you. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Redefining Network Marketing Systems

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 16, 2023 8:40

If we're going to Re:DEFINE network marketing, one of the most important fundamental shifts we need to make is in our systems.Network Marketing systems have historically been designed to create one result: RECRUITMENT.  The faster we can help the incoming distributors recruit their first handful of members, the more likely they are to stick around. But with that version of the business opportunity becoming less and less relevant in today's marketplace, the effectiveness of these systems continues to dramatically decrease.I believe to solution is to create systems that focus primarily on teaching distributors principle based, practical skills that they can then use to generate customer sales and the resulting commissions.  The practical skills I'm referring to of course is online marketing. You might be thinking, “Ronnie, that would take way too long.  It would be impossible to gain the momentum needed to build any kind of downline.”Yes, that is true.  But remember, on of the things the Re:DEFINE Network Marketing movement calls for is an adjustment in comp plans to directly pay out for customer acquisition and sales.  When this happens, the focus can start shifting away from building downlines.  So you won't need momentum to create income for youself. Moreover, people are already accustomed to the “education as preparation for career/work” process.  So they already have a built-in understanding that there's a lag time between getting started and results. Also, if we set the correct expectations up front, expectations of what the process will be like, then your potential new partner can make the best, most informed decision for themselves. And even if they end up not joining your team, it's ok.  Your income isn't dependent on building downlines and recruiting so expedience of systems is no longer required.   And because people weed themselves out or opt themselves in, you actually end up building a stronger more stable income in the long term… which has always been the goal in the first place. So let's Re:DEFINE the network marketing systems and processes to focus on educating distributors on online marketing skills, and we can begin legitimizing our profession, and move it into the digital age. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Building Multiple Network Marketing Companies Simultaneously

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 15, 2023 10:47

Over the years, I've watched countless people attempt to build multiple network marketing businesses simultaneously.  And I've never seen a single one succeed. At least not by my personal standards of what success looks like in network marketing.  And though I'm working to Re:DEFINE those standards, it certainly doesn't include hopping company to company, sometimes juggling two or three to make a quick buck before moving in to the next new hot thing. Here's why you can't build multiple company's at once:One argument for building multiple companies is that it's a great way to diversify your income.  In reality, you're not diversifying your income but rather you're diversifying your effort. It's like dating multiple people at the same time — you end up with none of them because with your attention split multiple ways, you end up actually neglecting everyone. Same thing with network marketing.Simply being a part of a company doesn't equate to income.  It takes a tremendous amount of focused effort to build a network marketing business.  If that effort is divided, you'll never gain the traction needed to build any momentum. Now, there might be the argument that with having more offerings increases your chances of having a product or service that people are looking for.  It's the Walmart and Amazon model — more stuff equals more sales. You're not Walmart or Amazon… especially if you're still promoting the network marketing business opportunity as your primary unique selling proposition (which typically is where most companies still are). The effectiveness of network marketing rests on the connection you make with your prospect and the service you provide.  We succeed because we make an impact in people's lives. If you're approach is to offer a suite of products, your prospect will know and feel like it's more about the sale and less about helping them.  Not that there's anything wrong with sales or even salesmanship.  That may lead to a couple of dollars here and there but it will never create the legacy type incomes. Then there's the argument that once you've built a solid business in one network marketing company you can move on and build with another.  Sure.  But if you choose to do this, I encourage you to build it from scratch with a whole new network of people. “Well the products don't conflict with each other so why not?”The products may not conflict with each other but the interests do.This is a natural tendency because what audience do network marketers have the easiest access to and influence with?  Their existing network. If you do this, it then becomes an obvious money grab and the relationships and communities you spent so much time nurturing are instantly devalued. The easiest answer: Learn marketing. With marketing skill, you'll never have ti tap into existing networks to turn a quick profit.  You can in good conscience build multiple companies and have a diverse line of products and services you promote if you just take the time to learn how. That's what the Re:DEFINE Network Marketing event is all about.  Happening May 4th - 6th, this event is going to absolutely revolutionize the industry and change the game foreverStay tuned.  Details to come=============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! And I've only just barely trained the plants up to the trellis.  So this means they're still years away from producing viable fruit. Same with business.  Same with network marketing.  Same with content creation. It takes time and much of your work, especially early on, won't yield any perceivable results.  But trust that like the grape plants, growth and progress are happening.  Stay the course. And then there are the set backs.  These first two and a half years working the vineyard have been a rollercoaster ride of emotions.  Animals eat the plants, main trunks snap in the winter because they're still young and too thin, or vines decide to just Peter  out and die for no reason.  The journey feels like one step forward two steps back. Obviously there are tons that can go sideways in any business venture.  But as long as you're moving forward, the scales always eventually balance out and every set back presents lessons that will afford you quantum leaps forward down the road.So if you're willing, I encourage you to get your hands in the dirt and grow a garden this year.  It can help you develop the Zen patients and persistence needed in business. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! We've talked about the iterative process when it comes to growth and learning.  I believe it's a topic and principle worth revisiting periodically as a reminder not to get stuck in the safety of a learning space. Growth won't happen with just acquiring knowledge.  You have to include action, you have to actually DO if you want to increase your capacity and capability. If you want to expand and create new outcomes in your life, the best and most efficient course to take is the “figure it out as you go” approach.  Learning in the doing is much more effective and the shorter and quicker path to reaching your goals. And even though things can often not go as you had intended, action at the very least gives you data and feedback with which you can adjust moving forward.  You can't after all course correct a vehicle that isn't moving. So iterate.  Add one new thing to your roster every time you have a launch, or teach a course, or create a piece of content.  Before you know it, you'll find yourself with a high level of proficiency and perhaps even a sought out expert and authority in your field. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Redefining the Word INFLUENCER

When I first heard the term “influencer” being used in popular language, I had a very specific and narrow idea of what it meant — namely Internet personalities with large followings making careers for themselves by leveraging their influence. But then as I really dove into social media marketing and content creation, my notion of what an influencer is began to expand to include coaches and teachers and experts.  Beyond Internet personalities, I follow many influencers that fit this category. As I continued studying social media, the idea expanded even further.  When we remove professional content creators from the equation what we're left with the the casual users who actual use social media for what it was originally intended — social connection. Think of the last movie you saw or the last meal out you had.  When you shared these things on social, don't you think you influenced the behavior of those who see your content in their feed? If not, consider the movie Top Gun: Maverick. Released in the summer of 2022, it was a smash hit.  Much of the films initial momentum was accelerated viewers sharing their experience in watching it. The buzz grew with each post and that drew more and more people out to the theaters. So in that context we are all influencers.  Online or off, if we interact with another human, we influencer them for better or worse. Given that level of influence, who then is the most important person we must work to influence?Ourselves.I want you to recognize that you have much more influence than you know.  How you show up will alway elicit a response from those you interact with.  So if you want to have a positive impact, then you must be purposeful and intentional with how you influence yourself. =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Redefining How You Think About and Use Social Media

If you're like me, you came into social media as a was to stay connected with your friends and family.  That was the intention of social media in the first place — platforms we could use to maintain social connections. However as time has gone on, the purpose and use of social media has evolved and many are now using it for marketing.  As I've said in recent classes and seminars, money flows where consumer eyes go. This being the case we have to Re:DEFINE how we think about and use social media if we want to leverage its power to grow our businesses.  It can no longer be apps that we use to share updates on our lives but rather avenues for driving specific behaviors, the behaviors that will lead to our desired outcomes. It's a matter of using social media more purposeful and intentional. A simple framework that I teach is:Grow your A.I.C.- Grow you AUDIENCE- Grow your INFLUENCE- Grow your CONVERSIONS, CUSTOMERS,  COMMISSIONSThis simple framework will help you go from using social media as a place to broadcast personal updates to using it as a tool to drive specific behaviors and create desired outcomes.  =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! How to Stay Excited About the Grind

In this episode, we revisit the topics from episodes #212 and #213 to bring further clarity to the subject of handling the hustle and grind. **I incorrectly said #213 and #214 in this episode so please forgive the oversight. The actual episodes are 212 and 213**There's so much to be grateful for.  We have to make sure we don't get too caught up in the grind that we loose sight of all the beautiful things we love about our lives.  Otherwise, what's the point? At the same time, we want to make sure we stay energized and motivated for the grind and we do that by always keeping our dreams and goals in front of us.  Staying connected to the life we're working to create keeps us pushing especially through the more challenging phases of the grind. And as different as these two things sound, they're actually the same thing, just different time frames.  In the here and now, we have to make sure we take time to appreciate the things we love because we're actually working to create more of that in our futures.=============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! Justifying Who You Are at the Cost of Who You Can Become

In a world that feels so ready and willing to invalidate our every thought and deed, it's natural to justify and defend our very presence. We don't need to. Though the internet might make feel the way, reality is far more kind and at least balanced with people who love you for you. Moreover, letting this way of thinking set in to become a prevailing mindset will limit your growth.  If you're justifying and defending who you are right now, then all the more difficult to move on to become who can be. The more defensive of who you are (and this happens unconsciously) the more fixed that identity becomes.   Be willing to let go.  You have nothing to be defensive about.  =============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!! We can get lost in hustle and grind.  I'm guilty of being a little too driven — at the cost of the things that actually matter to me, and why I hustle so hard in the first place. Don't lose sight of those things, the things that your fighting for.  Take time to pause, breathe, and make time with the people that matter the most doing the things you love the most. Regularly check in with that, step away even for a brief moment, knowing that the hustle can in fact wait. Take time to make time.=============Join our Facebook communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/redefinecommunityFREE!!!
