I am bringing back a very popular episode from exactly one year ago. I have had so many conversations with women about their own hurt and pain in female friendships. The sense of betrayal, judgement, and abandonment can be felt on a visceral level. Do you ever find yourself reflecting on your friendships as an adult and wondering why it's so hard to find that perfect click? Today I share my own personal stories about the highs and lows of relationships within my community, shedding light on the often unspoken hurdle: society's lack of emphasis on teaching us how to cultivate lasting bonds. We'll peel back the layers of what it means to maintain authenticity and the steps to take for establishing more meaningful, life-giving connections. Through my experiences, I'll show you how to define what you truly need from others and why embodying the qualities of clear communication and safety is pivotal in finding the support we crave across all relationships — be it with friends, family, or colleagues.Building on the theme of connection, I'll reveal how embracing vulnerability and feedback has reshaped the way I interact with loved ones, especially when it comes to distinguishing between constructive criticism and projected insecurities. You'll hear a heartwarming tale involving my son, emphasizing how trust and validation are the bedrock of any healthy relationship. Consider this your invitation to join me on a journey of intentional relationship-building — where honesty reigns supreme, boundaries are respected, and every interaction is a step towards nurturing an environment rich with openness and support. There's something undeniably potent about the bonds of sisterhood—esepcially when those deep, empathetic connections can act as a salve to our innermost wounds. Join me, Bridget, as I share about my weekend away and how unmasked vulnerability bloomed into a sacred space of personal growth. It takes courage it takes to reveal our true selves, to allow the full spectrum of our experiences to be witnessed and held by those we trust. And yet, it is the way to deep healing!Trauma expert Peter Levine lends his insights on trauma. Trauma is two-fold:It is not the event itself, but how the body records it!Trauma occurs in the absence of an empathetic witness. This is why in order to heal trauma, you must either be your own or seek out an empathetic witness. Conscious sisterhood offers the ability to support one another, fully see the other person, and offer feedback that's grounded in love, not judgment. In today's episode explore the 'sisterhood wound,' that all-too-common thread of pain and insecurity in women's relationships, and the healing potential that arises from authentic, conscious connection. Creating friendships with women who can be a clean reflection and mirror for me has been such a pivotal role in my journey. I would truly be lost without it. In today's episode I am doing something I have never done before. Every year I write my kid's a letter on their birthday, and this year I am sharing parts of one of the letters with you. In today's episode I am pulling back the curtain and sharing my first ever interview with a past client! I have Kelsey Buckholtz with me today, and if you have ever wondering how coaching can help, this is the episode for you. Kelsey has experienced both 1:1 and group coaching. Kelsey's story is also unique in that she came to me already knowing the work. She is a published author who shares her journey and the many tools she has learned along the way. We talk about how important it is to have a coach to hold a mirror up to our blindspots. I loved the insights, wisdom, and vulnerability she shares. We uncover the delicate art of setting boundaries and the significance of embracing all of our emotions — the rough, the raw, and the radiant — especially in the presence of our little ones. Kelsey and I swap stories and strategies for managing this balancing act, offering pearls of wisdom on how these challenges can catalyze profound self-growth and lead to the formation of new boundaries as our families grow and our roles evolve. Tune in and if you are someone who struggles specifically with perfectionism and people pleasing, check out Kelsey's book here. The best predictor of a relationship is their embodied skills of communicating. Communication can make or break every relationship and especially in our marriages. Unfortunately, we live in a world that teaches us to communicate from our ego. This means letting this childhood part lead the conversation and bring judgement, blame, and criticism forward instead of your heartfelt need and desire. In today's episode, we examine the roadblocks of ego-driven dialogue and how it hinders the bonds we strive to build. If you've ever felt misunderstood or struggled to articulate your deepest feelings, I see you. I experienced so many ruptures in relationships, including both romantic and in friendships. For most of my life, I thought 'speaking my truth' meant that I became very articulate at telling the other person what they did wrong. We discuss the art of listening deeply to our bodies' cues and the importance of tailoring physical health strategies to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. But it's not just about the physical; the emotional aspect plays a vital role in our gut health. Together with Abby, we explore how addressing emotional undercurrents can lead to profound healing and how practices like breathwork serve as a bridge connecting mental and physical health. We share stories that illustrate the transformative power of nurturing not just the body, but also the mind and spirit, charting a course toward deep, lasting change. Tune in to discover how to orchestrate your path to well-being with wisdom and sensitivity.Meet Abby: Abby King is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), has a Masters in Nutrition and Integrative health and is a certified RESET Breathwork Facilitator. She is a mind-body nutritionist and practices a bio-individualized approach to nutrition, supporting clients in a variety of health conditions, focusing on preventative health. She specializes in helping clients heal their chronic gut issues and uses a personalized approach to help people heal using nutrition, functional testing, mindfulness and breath work. Have you ever felt like you were masking your true self behind a fortress of toughness? Do you struggle to soften and share your heart? This episode peels back the layers of the 'masculine shield' that many of us construct, sometimes without even realizing it.Learning about feminine and masculine energy is so important to truly feel balanced in your life. However, dismissing or disliking one energy is not the way to embrace the other. True balance comes from uncovering the blocks or shields you carry that prevent you from accessing both energies. Until you have this awareness, learning to dance between the masculine (doing) and feminine (being) energy will be really hard. In today's episode, I dive into a heart-to-heart about the intricate dance between feminine and masculine energies, sharing my own revelations from recent life events, like the act of moving houses, that prompted a deeper understanding of this balance. We're not just talking concepts here; I bring to light the tangible signs of imbalance, such as burnout and relentless mental noise, and how they can disrupt our connection to our softer, intuitive side. Tune in for a very important question you can reflect on before trying to get into your feminine energy.Let's Connect.Wait List for my monthly virtual breathwork classes: Register hereFree guide: 5 ways to find Calm: Get the guide hereCome find me on Instagram: @findherwildcoachingCheck out my website and my offerings here
The other day, someone asked what I do, and I responded, " I help women fall back in love with their lives and the people in it". She smiled and simply asked " How?". Her question sent me into a deep reflection on my own journey back to love. My journey was not linear at all, and it actually took years into my sobriety to finally feel the love that I was craving. As I reflect on the tools that worked for me and the hundreds of women I have coached, I clearly see five crucial steps that will create more of a connection to love in your life. I am sharing all of them in this week's episode. If you are someone that knows she has a good life, but you don't feel in love with it, then this episode is for you. Emotions really are this amazing feedback we get to experience as human beings. So in today's episode, I am breaking down some myths about emotions, and giving you three new ways to understand why emotions show up and how to understand them better. If you are walking through an experience that is bringing up a lot of emotions, I want to offer you something. Are you a mom and do you experience anger or feeling out of control? Do you know that you are not alone in experiencing this AND nothing is wrong with you? You just have not been taught what anger is and how to move through it in a healthy way. That is what we are discussing in this week's episode. I have such a powerful and honest conversation with my friend Emilie. She is an author and a coach for moms dealing with addictions and/or trauma. She shares how her journey in motherhood brought out anger which prompted her to seek healthier tools. She found Somatics, the art of working with the soma or body as a healthy way of understanding and regulating her anger. Many moms experience so much shame around the anger they can feel in motherhood. You are not alone, and it also doesn't have to be as intense as you are probably experiencing. Emilie provides such a calm and nonjudgmental space to bring awareness, compassion, and curiosity to this experience that so many moms face. My guest today is Logan Orihuela, and she is the creative director of Wyld Branding Co. Logan is the visionary behind my new brand Find Her Wild Coaching. She has this unique ability and gift to take your vision and make it come to life through visual representations. If you own your own business check out Logan's creative genius and I highly recommend her for your next project. Logan also specializes in womb work for brand expansion & creative expression. The womb is the ultimate power source for wombyn, and the key to living life as our most sovereign, embodied, & expressed selves. Logan helps wombyn & entrepreneurs reconnect to themselves, their wombs, & their bodies for an amplified experience of personal power, self-expression, & abundance. In our conversation today, we are talking all about feminine embodiment when it comes to creating anything in this life. Whether you are an entrepreneur or not we, as women, are innate creators. We are capable of birthing and creating life, ideas, businesses, and so much more. Creativity is something I believe every woman needs to tap into in order to feel fulfilled in this life. Tune into this week's episode as we break down what it really looks like to lead and create from your feminine energy! This conversation was so powerful. know you will walk away with a better understanding of how to balance both your own internal masculine and feminine energy, as well as leaning into your feminine energy in order to create the life you want!Connect with Logan and/or check out her newest program below: IG: https://www.instagram.com/wyldbranding.co/Wellspring: https://logan-orihuela-2d3b.mykajabi.com/wellspring______________________________________________________________________________________I am also SO excited to announce that early bird registration for my signature program, Fully Alive is open.
