The You Can Call Me “Bossy†Podcast is designed to support high-achieving, high-performance women navigate the label “bossy†and all the responsibility, stigma, growth, and power that comes along with it. As a fellow high-achiever, high-performer and “bossy†lady, I have had to navigate the waters of this label since I was a little girl. The shame, pressure, misunderstanding, and fear associated with this label has dictated a lot of the choices and actions I’ve taken in my life, as well as for the women I am honored enough to coach. What I have struggled with most is the inner conflict to “be myself†and go after my dreams and goals and stand in my leadership while also being told that I was too much, too loud, too demanding, too structured. When these are the traits that are being denounced, and yet they are also the traits that others celebrate as my super powers, how do we as women reconcile that? How do we STAND IN OUR POWER AND LEADERSHIP while also making everyone else happy and comfortable? That’s what the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY†podcast will aim to answer, and so much more!

Welcome to the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! In this week's quick hit episode I am getting into one of the most common—and sneakiest—pitfalls in personal growth: believing you've already worked through your biggest blocks and don't need to revisit them. Welcome to the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! In this week's quick hit episode I get into some of my favorite takeaways from “The Illusion of Money” by Kyle Cease—a book that challenges everything we think we know about wealth, abundance, and self-worth. Far more than a book about money, Cease's work offers a powerful mindset shift, urging us to embrace inner healing, daily meditation, and radical acceptance of the present moment in order to invite true abundance into our lives. With relatable stories, a sprinkle of humor, and actionable wisdom, this episode will make you question the limits you've put on yourself—and inspire you to choose expansion over contraction. So grab your headphones and prepare for some game-changing insights that will help you reconnect with your worthiness and say yes to a more abundant, aligned life. Key Takeaways: Focus on meditation as a tool for self-discovery. The idea that wanting “more money” or “a better life” is often a symptom of not accepting the present. Welcome to another episode of the You Can Call Me “Bossy" podcast. In this episode I welcome Brittany Heyboar, the dynamic force behind Unlock Her Co, for a deep-dive conversation about embracing our so-called "too muchness" and learning to own it as a superpower. Brittany, a former corporate climber turned subconscious reprogramming and embodied strategy coach, opens up about her lifelong journey of being labeled as "too much"—from her vibrant personality and booming voice to her ambitious presence in the corporate world. She shares powerful personal stories about shrinking herself to fit in, how she finally broke free from self-doubt, and the pivotal role subconscious mind work played in reclaiming her voice. Together, Brittany and I tackle the loaded word "bossy," unpacking why it triggers us, how to shift our relationship with it, and why owning your bossiness can actually be a key to living in alignment with your true self. If you've ever felt like you were "too much," struggled to trust your own instincts, or wondered how to channel your energy and leadership in a way that serves both you and your community—this conversation is your permission slip. Welcome to the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! This week's quick hit episode dives deep into The Busy Trap. That overwhelming cycle where staying constantly busy feels like the only path to success. Inspired by real conversations from the club's August group coaching session, I unpack the limiting beliefs that keep so many high-achieving women stuck in patterns of overwork, guilt, and self-sabotage. We explore how stories about laziness and productivity can quietly undermine our goals, and why it's so important to examine the narratives we tell ourselves about rest, ambition, and what it really means to be successful. If you've ever felt like you can't get out of your own way or struggled to balance downtime with drive, this episode offers practical insights and the tough love you need to start shifting your mindset—for good. Tune in for a candid exploration of why being busy isn't always better, and how giving yourself permission to pause can be the most powerful move you make. Welcome to the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! In this week's quick hit episode, I dive into a powerful conversation about confidence and how it shapes our relationships with other women—especially when it comes to competition. Inspired by a recent trip to a Beyoncé concert (and a scroll-stopping quote from Miley Cyrus: “Confident women aren't in competition”), I unpack the generational roots of rivalry among women, particularly in the workplace, and explore how these old beliefs still influence us today. This episode is about championing the belief that there is room—and opportunity—for everyone, and encourages us to imagine a world where every woman stands boldly in her confidence, supporting each other instead of tearing one another down. Tune in for a heartfelt and motivational quick hit that will leave you questioning—and redefining—what it really means to be “bossy” and confident in your own life. Key Takeaways: Emphasizing the value of uniqueness—being “a master at the thing that makes us unique.” Challenging scarcity mindset in favor of abundance—believing there are enough opportunities for everyone. Emphasizes “everything happens for a reason” and frames the redo as an opportunity for improvement. Episode Resources: CLICK HERE to book a discovery call for LevelUp!
