Once you complete the today’s episode, you will have a mini blueprint to living an abundant life in Christ. But it is only the beginning, not the end, it is your jumping off point to a life that is truly satisfying, fulfilling, and in line with the way God intended it to be. The little formula I shared with you in episode 18 goes like this… PR + LA = Becoming More – As a child of God we have been given an inheritance: Eternal, spiritual, & physical. – The righteousness of God that is in you is rooted in faith. It is your faithful pursuit of His righteousness that unlocks and activates the abundant life that He so desperately wants you to have. – Ephesians 3:20 – “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.” – John 10:10 – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I am come that they may have life, and it more abundantly.” “As a natural result of pursuing God’s righteousness, we move away from sin & into abundance.” – Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Do you serve a God of lack or a God of abundance? – What it means to be a joint heir. – How to move into abundance. – Abundance defined; Spiritual & Physical – Action plan to put the formula of PR + LA = Becoming More to work in your life. “Keep your focus, trust in God and don’t lean onto your own understanding, And remind yourself that, God’s wisdom reigns.” I encourage you to acknowledge and declare that God is more than enough. That God shall supply all your needs. That the God we serve is not a God of lack, but a God of abundance.

I want to share something with you that will help you to reign in this life. It is both a gift (from God) and a tool that will bless you immensely… And it may even challenge the way you think. No matter what you find yourself chasing under the ‘proverbial’ sun, God’s righteousness is the one thing that will bring you ultimate joy & satisfaction.… In fact Matthew 5:6 says you are blessed if you hunger and thirst for it. Righteousness is this wonderful two sided blessing that is both a gift from God… and a means by which we align our lives with the ways of God. – Imputed Righteousness – Behavioral Righteousness “It’s one thing to be gifted with life and righteousness; it’s another thing to live a life, in the pursuit of righteousness.” As a natural result of pursuing God’s righteousness, we move away from sin & into abundance. Living in Abundance, is the second half of this story. For today we are just talking about righteousness, and in a later episode I will come back to breakdown the second part of this formula, but for now I wanted to share it with you. PR + LA = Becoming More…..it’s a process not a destination. Pursuit of righteousness  + Life Abundant = Becoming More – 2 Timothy 2:22 –  “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” A plan for righteousness We operate our life from a place of belief & faith in Christ Jesus. We can walk in righteousness by doing what God does, by understanding what is good & what isn’t. Focus on the Pursuit. – Matthew 22:37-40 –  Jesus said: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Proverb 24:16 tells us, “for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.”

Looking to the future plans that God has for you is an opportunity to fill your heart with hope for a brighter tomorrow. However, there is another opportunity where your hope can also be filled, and it begins in the present moment. In fact, it starts as a moment in your day, preparing your heart, mind, and even your soul, for the rest of the day. There truly is a wonderful blessing in today. It is a gift from God, and maybe that’s why it’s called the present. I want to share a brief prayer framework that I use to start my day, each and everyday. The idea behind this prayer is to set my mind in alignment with my spirit. So the ‘woes’ of the world are not leading the charge for the day, but rather the ways of the Lord. Would you agree that  it seems that success is often times measured from the outside instead of from the inside? Having success on the outside is easier to measure, because we can readily see it with our eyes. Our eyes tell us that the suit, the dress, the car, the house, the job that a person drives can be correlated to the amount of success someone has. Is there a measure to determine ones success on the inside? What can we look at in our own lives that suggest we have a measure of success from the inside out? I want to share 9  blessings that God has given His children. These 9 fruits are given to you freely, you don’t earn them, you don’t buy them, they are deposited in you through the Holy Spirit. And, the measure of these blessings can even be readily seen and heard by others. Unlike outward success these 9 blessings are not fleeting, and they create an internal fulfillment that lasts a lifetime. – Galatians 5:22 & 23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. – Proclamation: “Today, Lord God, I proclaim with my heart, my spirit to the truth of Your word. Father God, remove from me anything that is not of you, cleanse me of any doubt or unbelief. Cause my spiritual sight to be clear and true, to know the difference between your fruits of the spirit and the deeds of the flesh, to walk in the spirit allowing the fruits of the spirit to explode in to my life!” – Why does God want us to have this fullness of His righteousness? – Why does God want these fruits to blossom in our lives? – Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – When your fruits are squeezed, how will you respond? – Galatians 5:16 “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” – Galatians 5: 19 -21 “ The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;  idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions  and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. – Colossians 3: 14 reminds us to put our focus on His love and it will create a bond of unity. – When God walks over to the fruit tree of your life, will be pleased when He sees your fruit? – Subscribe to the show – Rate & Review the show
