A proud native of Texas, Billie Jo is a singer, songwriter, and recording artist blending traditional country vocals with honest songs. Billie Jo is well on her way of establishing herself as one of Texas country's upcoming artists to watch. Barbara performs with her very talented husband, Roy Morris. They are really in love, and it shows. They are such an important part of the Branson Entertainment Community.Their Sunday Morning Worship Service that began in 1992 has continued to be a source of inspiration to the thousands of Branson visitors who attend each year. Her nomination for two prestigious Grammy Awards, one for her #1 country hit, "The Teddy Bear Song" and the other in the music for children category, "Lullaby for Teddy" are highlights in her career. She is recognized as one of the finest female entertainers in Country Music. Barbara was one of Ralph Emery's favorite guests during the years he hosted the top-rated "Nashville Now" show on the TNN television network. Ralph even trusted her to be a guest host for him at times in his absence. She was thrilled to host her own TV Special, "Barbara Fairchild In England" on the BBC network, just to name a few.Barbara continues to tour and sing.  For her complete tour schedule visit BarbaraFairchild.com.This week we welcome star of the Grand Ole Opry,  Mary Lou Turner! Born in Hazard, Kentucky, Mary Lou Turner began her career as a Country Music Artist in 1974 with her first popular song, All That Keeps Me Going.  She followed that success with several other songs that reached the top 50 on the U.S. Country Charts, including It's Different With You, Love It Away, and Cheatin' Overtime. Though a star in her own right, she may be best known for the duets she sang with Bill Anderson.  The duo teamed up to produce hits in the top 25 on the U.S. Country Charts, including I'm Way Ahead of You and Where Are You Going, Billy Boy.  The pair released Sometimes in 1976 which reached Number 1 on the Country Charts.  That same year, she and Bill also released That's What Made Me Love You reaching number 7 with that hit. Mary Lou has performed in the theaters of Branson, Missouri for many years.  She starred with both Boxcar Willie and Buck Trent, before joining the Grand Ladies of Country Music Show.  She and her husband, David, call the Ozarks home. For more information, visit her Facebook page:  Mary Lou Turner.

351 - Gary Adams If you like true stories and the good old kind of country music, Gary Adams is about as great of an interview subject as you could get. An instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, he is known as one of the famed Adams Brothers who are all involved in country music. He is heavily associated with the late Johnny Paycheck and the late George Jones having toured and worked with both. As a guitarist he also played for Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Johnny Marty Robbins, Charlie Walker, Little Jimmy Dickens, Paul Wayne and Barbara Fairchild just to name a few. As a songwriter, his work was covered by Johnny Paycheck and co-wrote one of the last songs recorded by Marty Robbins. Gary was even made into a cartoon appearing in the George Jones and Johnny Paycheck episodes of "Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus." It is a great honor and a privilege to welcome the great Gary Adams on The Paul Leslie Hour.

J.C. Hulsey has lived in Midlothian, Texas over thirty years. He's a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He has been married for 59 years. He enjoys Western movies and TV Shows, (especially the older ones) and reading about Mail-Order Brides. He is also the owner of six cats (all stray cats, showed up on the back porch) and one dog (rescue dog) He worked for 33 years at Bell Helicopter. He served in the USAF for five years, and the Air National Guard for four years. He started writing songs in his early twenties. He recorded a couple of songs in the late 1960s. He started writing poetry in the 1970s to share with others. He self-published them on Amazon in 2013. He still felt the need to write something different. He tried writing a book in the 1970s, but it was never finished. In 2014, he felt the urge to write a Western novel. However, he needed something different than what was on the market. What about a young Christian Gunfighter? That book turned into a series of seven books that won First Place for Best Westen Series in 2015 from Texas Association of Authors. My recipe from The Sisterhood of SWEAT Pumpkin Spice Latte –  You no longer have to stand at the coffee window and drool. Now, you can make your own healthy pumpkin spice latte! Ingredients: 2 cups coconut milk (unsweetened) 2 cups black organic coffee or 2 shots espresso Stevia or coconut palm sugar (sweeten to your taste) 1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon ginger ¼ teaspoon cloves ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1½ teaspoon pure vanilla ½ cup cooked pumpkin Instructions: 1. In a medium saucepan on medium-low heat, mix together the spices, pumpkin, and coconut milk. 2. Stir to keep it from sticking until pumpkin milk is steamy. 3. I like to send my hot milk mixture through the blender to make it nice and frothy. 4. Pour your hot coffee into your pumpkin spice mixture. 5. Stir and serve.
