Renowned as the untamed force behind Lynyrd Skynyrd, Artimus Pyle's impactful double bass drumming was instrumental in defining the band's iconic sound. His breakthrough moment came at the Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam, where his authoritative drumming, initially credited simply as "Artimus Pyle, percussion," captured widespread attention. Further establishing himself as a sought-after session drummer, Pyle connected with acts such as Charlie Daniels and the Marshall Tucker Band, eventually crossing paths with Ronnie Van Zant and Ed King at Studio One in Doraville, Georgia. This fateful encounter paved the way for the creation of Saturday Night Special, leaving an indelible mark on Ronnie. Making his live debut at Jacksonville's Sgt Pepper's Club in October 1974, Pyle assumed the role of Skynyrd's drummer following the release of Second Helping, contributing to the band's subsequent four albums, including the legendary Street Survivors. Pyle survived the band's tragic 1977 plane crash that took six lives, including Steve and Cassie Gaines, along with the band's leader, Ronnie Van Zant. "This project has been a year in the making, but when the fans hear it they will understand why it took so long," says Len Snow, Get Joe Records president. "Artimus is legendary within the Southern Rock space. The music that Lynyrd Skynyrd made will always live as a part of rock history. This album honors that music and gives Artimus a way to honor his former bandmates."

He would replace their original drummer (Bob Burns) following the release of the group's second album, Second Helping, and performed with the band and on Skynyrd's subsequent four albums,Nuthin' Fancy, Gimme Back My Bullets, Street Survivors, and their live album, One More for the Road. Pyle was injured but survived the band's 1977 horrific plane crash that abruptly ended the lives of six people, including band members Steve and Cassie Gaines, and most notably, frontman and musical visionary Ronnie Van Zant.In 1979, the band began to reunite, first for the 5th Annual Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam, and eventually, as the Rossington Collins Band (which included all the remaining band members and Pyle, plus Dale Krantz on lead vocals and Barry Lee Harwood on guitar). However, shortly after that, Pyle was in a car accident that broke his leg in 21 places and shattered his hopes of remaining with the group. Pyle spent the next three years healing, both physically and emotionally, before returning to the States and establishing the Artimus Pyle Band (A.P.B.) to honor the music and legacy of Ronnie Van Zant.In 1987, Pyle rejoined his former bandmates to tour and eventually record as Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991, but the experience left him flat. While he deeply loved them, he no longer felt the magic he once did with Van Zant at the helm, nor was he interested in returning to the party lifestyle for which the band was known and stepped away from the group permanently, only to return in 2006 during Lynyrd Skynyrd's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (where he played alongside Bob Burns). Now in his 70s, Pyle still continues to honor Van Zant's musical legacy, recording and touring with the Artimus Pyle Band, now comprised of Pyle (drums), Scott Raines (guitar/vocals), Jerry Lyda (guitar) Brad Durden (keyboards/vocals), and Dave Fowler (bass).https://artimuspyleband.com/https://www.amazon.com/Anthems-Honoring-Music-Lynyrd-Skynyrd/dp/B0CKH9X2WHBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/i-am-refocused-radio--2671113/support.

Bucks County Bytes presents to you the award-winning songwriter, singer, actress, and Keith Urban's favorite Raise 'Em Up tour moments, Kendal Conrad! I discovered Kendal from my friend and social media personality, George Wacker, who is known as Lehigh Valley With Love....once I went exploring Kendal's music I was in love with her voice and her Martin guitar! I reached out to her and asked if she could come on the show and tell the world her story! She has the most amazing personality, voice, and love for what she does! Kendal Conrad has such an extensive list of remarkable and outstanding performances, but the highlight really is when she performed and sang a duet with Keith Urban on stage in Bethlehem's Musicfest singing "We Were Us" as part of the Raise 'Em Up Tour and it is said this is one Keith Urban's favorite tour moments! She also joined Walker Hayes onstage to perform "Halloween" for 92.5 XTU's Ski Day at Jack Frost Big Boulder. Kendal is also International Miss Talent and won the title with her original song "Girlstrong." She has performed at the White House, Wells Fargo Center, Sands Casino, Six Flags, Hersheypark, the Bitter End, Musikfest, and the Susquehanna Bank Center for 92.5 XTU's anniversary party. Kendal has sung the National Anthem for MLB, NBA, MMA, NASCAR, and NBC's National Dog Show. She was a finalist in the NBC 10 Talent Search and a finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown. Kendal was the 2015 Country Showdown Winner for Philadelphia's 92.5 XTU. She has opened for country artists Blake Shelton, Charlie Daniels Band, Devin Dawson, Drew Baldridge, Alabama, Walker Hayes, Hunter Hayes, Brandon Lay, Carter Winter, Sara Evans, Tucker Beathard, Jerrod Niemann, Michael Ray, Thompson Square, Parmalee, Dylan Schneider, Diamond Rio, Kane Brown, Granger Smith, Phil Vassar, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Easton Corbin, Trailer Choir, Maggie Rose, Craig Campbell, Mo Pitney, Striking Matches, Old Dominion, Outshyne, Chris Cagle, and The Cadillac Three and performed personally for author Nicholas Sparks. She has played the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, the Foundry at the Fillmore, iPlay America, Jenks Club, Prospector's Saloon, One Centre Square, Sherman Theater, Sellersville Theatre, Provident Bank Park, PPL Center, Wayne County Fair, PGA Concert at the Bogey, and the Santander Arena. Kendal was an extra in the film Silver Linings Playbook where she can be seen bumping into Bradley Cooper. She starred as Holly Golightly in the exclusive post-Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany's at the Civic Theatre of Allentown. Kendal recorded her first EP in country star Reba McEntire's studio in Nashville. But my favorite part about Kendal is her sincere love of music and her love of the Martin guitar she plays...and I had the honor to chat with her and who she is on my podcast...her laugh and love are truly addicting and I hope you enjoy her chat as much as I did!! Had a great time getting to know Olivia on the Podcast. She is a breath of fresh air in the music industry with her traditional country music style and beautiful voice. Her New Single "Kiddie Pool" is out 4/9 streaming everywhere... Born and raised on a century farm in Canby, Oregon, Olivia Harms grew up knowing hard work was a way of life. So was music. Olivia’s mom is Joni Harms – singer/songwriter and Western Hall of Fame inductee. Music and hard work went hand in hand for Olivia. She joined her mom on the road playing music before she could walk. You might even say Olivia was born into it, “My first time on stage was when I was 2 days old – my mom, in true Joni style, had labor induced to make her show. From then on I was pretty much on stage by her side and becoming more and more addicted to the adventure of the music business.” At age 6, Santa Claus brought Olivia her first guitar, a baby Taylor. She learned to play and soon started writing her own songs. At 16, Olivia had written enough music to go back to Nashville and record her debut album. She admits that the songs and the writing style was what can be expected from a 16 year old girl. “One of the first songs I ever wrote was about my hometown Canby, Oregon. I had big dreams of sharing a little piece of our family farm and my upbringing with folks by singing the song on the road. Not much rhymes with Canby so I had to get creative. I used the phrase ‘can be’ and strung every fact I could think of . Before I knew it I had a song about my little town and the 150 year old farm I grew up on. When I played it for my mom she said she wished she had thought of it first.” For more than a decade Olivia has included her song Canby in concerts across the US, even France, New Zealand and Australia. After graduating high school in Canby, Olivia continued to play music as she started college at Oregon State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agriculture business management, “a back up plan in case music doesn’t work out” she joked. But music continued to fire her soul and after college Olivia started commuting to Nashville to write and record demos. She continues to base herself out of Oregon but spends about half her year in Nashville. In 2019 Olivia decided it was time to start planning for her second album. She shopped around for a producer and narrowed down her song choices. Once again mother, Joni Harms, offered some valuable advice by suggesting Olivia reach out to D. Scott Miller, a former songwriter and friend of Joni’s when she was signed to Capital Records in the late eighties. It was obvious that D. Scott understood the sound and direction Olivia was aiming for. Together they chose 10 songs from Olivia's catalog to record and set a recording date in 2020. Covid19 postponed recording twice, but Olivia wasn’t going to let a pandemic kill her dream. “I figured that no one knew how long this would last, and no one gets anywhere by putting their dreams on hold. So we went ahead with the recording in May of 2020. My mom accompanied me to Nashville and we had a blast making the project!” Olivia has released 2 singles from her upcoming album “Rhinestone Cowgirl”. The singles “Hey There Cowboy” and “Gypsy” each gained over 15k views within the first weekend of being released. Olivia says “seeing the numbers climb was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever felt. I poured my heart and soul into the songs and the project. So to see them do so well as an independent project right off the bat was amazing!” Olivia looks forward to getting back on the road again and playing her new music live. “I’ve opened for acts like Dan+Shay, Old Dominion, Mark Chesnutt, Jerrod Niemann, and Diamond Rio. It’s wonderful to see my name next to these greats, but it’s interacting with people, seeing them smile and hearing their stories that I miss the most. Sharing my stories and seeing people...
Minnesota-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist whose latest release was a seven-song album last September. Last year he and his band even started a tribute featuring the music of the legendary band Alabama.

Drums, ice cream trucks, and looking at the lives of session elitist Greg Morrow and social media drummer, educator, Tim Buell. Tim steps in to talk about how he went from touring drummer to social media educator/influencer in the world of drums. You've heard Greg's drum work from ZZ Top, Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, and more. Creating something new is a magical process. It can also be the hardest thing you’ll ever do. In this episode of Around the Barrel, host Lucas Hendrickson talks to singer-songwriter Jerrod Niemann about the art and mystery of songwriting, how parental approval isn’t always the best thing when it comes to growing as an artist, and how an important realization about our service members and their families inspired his latest patriotic single, “Old Glory.”

The guy is one of my favorite people in country music... and one of my favorite people period. It was great to see Jerrod Niemann in St. Pete this weekend. Jerrod's always associated with fun songs like "Lover Lover" and "Drink To That All Night." His new song is quite a bit heavier. It got released Friday and I really hope you download it. It's called "Old Glory" and he takes the politics out and leaves the heart in. Wait til you hear the story that inspired the song.
Wow what a weekend in Clearwater. Great music. Great food. Great art. Great views of the Clearwater Beach sunset. Let's chat about what you didn't see on stage though at the Bay 2 Beach Music and Arts Festival at Coachman Park. In this episode of The Other 59 Minutes: - Why I had to bail early and miss LOCASH on Day 1 of the Festival - What happened In Ybor City TWICE... that NEVER happens - The QYK song that makes me want to stick a fork in my ears - How Dollar Tree in Clearwater ruined Day 1 of Bay 2 Beach - I don't think Hunter Hayes likes me much - What happened when Jerrod Niemann walked off stage - The perfect ending to a weekend in Clearwater The Other 59 Minutes is a weekly podcast by Nights With Geno host Geno Knight. That's me. On my QYK night show, I usually get to talk about 5 times an hour for 12 seconds. That means, the other 59 minutes I'm usually sitting in the studio doin' nuthin'. So I figured we could do nuthin' and talk about nuthin' together. That's "The Other 59 Minutes." Enjoy.
Here we go. Welcome to the "Nights With Geno" podcast. I have to admit I was always one of those radio elitists who thought podcasting was for people who couldn't make it on the radio. I've finally come around. Hearing great podcasts like "Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard" or the clips from the Toucher and Rich show out of Boston helped me get it. So here goes. What will be on the podcast? If you follow me on social media, then you know my life isn't just country music. I'm a junk foodie and sports loving wiseass. Sometimes I rant about Live PD. If you're weird like me and enjoy my dorky sense of humor, you'll dig my podcast. Longer podcasts like this one I'm going to call "The Other 59 Minutes," which is a big of a dig at my own radio show since I only usually get to talk 12 seconds at a time, 5 times an hour. So you only hear me 1 minute out of 60 on a normal night. So this will be the other 59 minutes. For my first podcast, I'm going to upload a bunch of my backstage chats with QYK artists who came by our broadcast at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. But I figure for my first full length podcast, I'll give you some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that maybe isn't fit for the radio show. In this episode, hear about my night at the bar with Jerrod Niemann talking about Tone Loc, my nightmare landing in Vegas, getting Darius Rucker to do the Ric Flair "Wooooo!", why Chris Janson is becoming one of my favorite people on the planet, let alone country music, and yes my infamous blunder in choice of words in an interview with Luke Bryan.
Hank Sr.’s contract, a cheesy Elvis movie, George Jones crashes his car, Jason Aldean goes platinum, Jerrod Niemann’s combustible bus, and Happy Birthday to Bob Wills!

Jerrod Niemann, the artist of songs like "Lover, Lover" and "What Do You Want," has soothed and inspired country music fans for years. Leading up to the interview, I started out with a list of 50 questions and whittled it down to six...knowing I would have ten minutes to talk to him. Interviewing Jerrod and having him tell me stories about his life, is the experience I dreamed of when launching this show. He was not only generous with his time, but he thought to share experiences that made me laugh, and that changed the way that I see my work.
Country singer and songwriter Jerrod Niemann has penned songs for Garth Brooks, Neal McCoy, Jamey Johnson, and Zona Jones, among others, and has built a strong fan base as a performer of his own material as well. Natalie Hemby came to prominence as an award-winning Nashville-based writer for other artists, penning at least two dozen songs with or for Miranda Lambert, including the hits “White Liar,” “Only Prettier,” “Baggage Claim,” and the #1 single “Automatic,” which was nominated for a Grammy and named both ACM and NSAI Song of the Year. Additionally, she co-wrote Little Big Town’s chart topping singles “Pontoon” and “Tornado,” the #1 hits “Downtown” by Lady Antebellum and “You Look Like I Need a Drink” by Justin Moore, Toby Keith’s Top 20 “Drinks After Work,” and “Don’t Rush,” which was a hit for Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill. Additionally, she scored a Top 10 UK pop hit with “Jealous,” a song co-written with - and recorded by - the English producer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist known as Labrinth. Natalie has co-written songs with a long list of artists who’ve gone on to record their collaborations, including Eli Young Band, Amy Grant, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Brett Eldredge, Chris Isaak, Laura Bell Bundy, Dierks Bentley, Maren Morris, Johnnyswim, and previous Songcraft guests Trent Dabbs, Lori McKenna, and Maia Sharp. Others who’ve dipped into the Natalie Hemby songbook include Lee Ann Womack, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Blake Shelton, Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice. In addition to writing a half dozen #1 hits, Hemby co-produced a documentary about her grandfather’s hometown called Puxico, which was the inspiration for the eponymous album that’s been heralded by The New York Times, NPR, and Rolling Stone as an early favorite of 2017.
“I'm having the time of my life. I have a love affair with music, but being able to entertain people is what I get out of it.”So says Country artist Jake Clayton, the gifted singer, thought-provoking songwriter and talented multi-instrumentalist who is attracting the attention of Country fans and radio programmers everywhere with his hot new single, “What Not to Do.” Jake is the rare artist who is able to enthrall a packed house with not just his vocals, songs and showmanship, but with his amazing instrumental ability as well. Playing over 20 instruments as an in-demand Nashville session musician, he is now stepping out on his own to take his place among the greats of Country music. “What Not to Do,” a song about the consequences of poor decision-making from his album By the Light of the Moon, is an uptempo, guitar-and-fiddle-driven romp that brings Charlie Daniels to mind. But Jake's highly-recognizable tenor is all his own, inviting comparisons to Garth Brooks, The Eagles and Tim McGraw.A native of rural Mexico, Missouri, Jake was raised by musical parents who sang professionally in the area. He was given his late grandfather's fiddle – which he still plays to this day – when he was 13. But he wasn't able to stop there, soon taking up just about any instrument with strings or keys, including banjo, organ, pedal steel guitar and more, while developing his singing and stage chops. “I learned about playing music by watching VHS tapes of concerts that really captivated me, like Garth's show in Central Park,” he recalls. “But most importantly, they showed me how an artist entertains an audience.”As he learned every instrument in sight, Jake also began to understand the importance of delivering captivating vocals and crafting a good song. “The Dixie Chicks picked great, but their songs and their harmonies were powerful, too,” he remembers. “That's when I started to take singing and songwriting more seriously.”At 17 Jake was fronting his own shows. “I actually had my own theater in Missouri for a couple years, an old restaurant we converted into a venue where I could perform,” he recalls fondly. “I was doing mostly classic Country for older people who understood and loved music, which was great. Because of my age I really didn't do bar gigs much. Then I took a fill-in job playing fiddle with The Oak Ridge Boys at 19 and moved to Nashville when I was 20.”Jake has since been a utility man in the live bands of Tanya Tucker, Collin Raye, Jimmy Wayne, Joey & Rory and Jamie O'Neal, and travelled for several years with singer Sunny Sweeney on two major tours. And in 2015, Sweeney enlisted Jake and his own band to support her on Miranda Lambert's 2015 Certified Platinum Tour. Opportunities like this have made it possible for him to be part of opening slots with such Country music headliners as Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, George Strait, and many more.As an in-demand studio musician, Jake's credits include playing violin and cello on Thompson Square's #1 single, “If I Didn't Have You,” and playing fiddle, dobro and lap steel on Sunny Sweeney's critically acclaimed album, Provoked. He was the featured dobro player on Joey & Rory's Inspired DVD and TV special, and he recorded and co-produced the theme song for The Sportsman Channel's Legacy Trails TV. Jake also recorded an acclaimed instrumental album, Barnyard Stomp, which was distributed by Rock guitar legend Steve Vai's Favored Nations label. As a solo artist, Jake has opened for Charlie Daniels, Jon Pardi, and Jerrod Niemann. He's seen his childhood dreams come true as he's graced the stages of Madison Square Garden, The Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame and other legendary venues.Jake is a natural singer, with a distinctive voice that is right at home on today's Country radio. “My vocals are one of the reasons I get hired to work with other artists, besides the fact that I play so many instruments,” the gregarious artist says. “I've been influenced by the best. I could listen to Don Henley sing the phone book, and Garth, of course, really knows how to deliver a lyric. I love Collin Raye, and Jared Leto from the band 30 Seconds to Mars. And I learned so much from being on the road with Tanya about how to do things inside a melody, and how to connect with people.”Every song on By the Light of the Moon was written or co-written by Jake, whose songwriting heroes include some of the legends of Country as well as today's most successful young writers. “I'm a fan of Kacey Musgraves' writing, and I really love Sunny's writing,” he says. “I think Bob DiPiero (David Nail, Martina McBride) is one of the greats. I love Tom T. Hall. And you can't beat Marty Robbins, who was the pinnacle of what an artist and writer should be.”Jake and his band play about 50 shows a year right now, and he looks to do more with the success of his new single. “We play all over the country and have been received really well everywhere we go,” he says. “While I still play for other artists, I see myself doing less and less of that in the future, because my main goal is to continue to release my own music and to give people a show they won't forget. We're all about the music and getting it out to the fans.”
Jessica Mitchell's debut EP Hold Onto The Light was released April 1, 2016. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark, Jerrod Niemann) and co-written with Luke Sheets (Plumb), her lead off track Grown Up Things is a soul-searching song about loss and change, of not wanting to deal with the curve balls that life throws at us – a feeling that most people have had at some point in their lives. When listening to her music, she makes it very easy for you to latch onto her inviting melodies and the genuine, soulful nature of her words. The rich tone and hopefulness in her voice grabs you and pulls you in. After signing a publishing deal with Slaight Music Publishing and management deal with RGK Entertainment (Cord Lund, Dean Brody, Tim Hicks), Jessica embarked on several writing trips to Nashville where she found herself inspired by the raw honesty and storytelling nature of the country music genre. She has opened many times for Tom Cochrane and spent the last few years travelling between Toronto and Nashville collaborating with top-notch songwriters including Stephen Kozmeniuk (Jennifer Hudson, Kendrick Lamar), Todd Clark (Phillip Phillips) and John Goodwin (Brad Paisley). "Hold Onto The Light is a testament to the battle we face in the darkest of times. Whether it's a relationship ending, a loved one passing, a friendship gone awry or a childish situation with little hope, the light is something we all try to hold onto about those things." – Jessica Mitchell

Jerrod Niemann...with Max/Shannon ACC Awards
Jarrod Niemann now has two number one songs. His first number one, “Lover, Lover” hit the top of the charts back in 2010. His latest single to hit number one is a bit different. Drink to That All Night is much more of a rockin’ dance song. So which does he prefer? Both! Kelly Lynn recently caught up with Jarrod at his celebration for “Drink to That All Night”.
We've got lots in store for you today, so let’s get started. Florida Georgia Line will be rolling into ballparks around America very soon. Their “This Is How We Roll Summer Series” headlining tour kicks off May 30th with special guest Nelly and opening act Chris Lane. For a full list of baseball stadium shows, check out Florida Georgia Line dot com. Keith Urban will be ready to hit the road when this season of “American Idol” wraps up. He’s announced a new “Raise ‘Em Up” tour with Jerrod Niemann and Brett Eldredge. This tour will feature an all-new stage production and music not performed on the last “Light The Fuse” tour. Look for this new production to kick off July twelfth at the Calgary Stampede and then hit at least twenty cities across America before wrapping in September. Good things seem to come in “Platinum” for Miranda Lambert. From her hair color to her wedding ring to the color of her Airstream…it’s all about her lifestyle. Not to mention her four platinum albums. This is also the title of Miranda’s new album, which hits stores June third. She co-wrote the first single “Automatic,” which was Miranda’s highest-charting first week single at radio, so this album is already getting off to a “Platinum” start. The Oak Ridge Boys are celebrating the release of their very first live project this week. “Boys Night Out” features many of their classic hits performed with their flawless four-part harmonies. The group has one double platinum album, three platinum albums, and twelve gold, so they don’t have to live by the charts, but just want to continue making great music. As part of a ten-year cultural exchange program, 33 million online music, art and video submissions were cast to determine musical selections to be broadcast from the Chinese space station. Most clips selected were from China, but three non-Chinese songs were also selected. Brad Paisley’s “Southern Comfort Zone,” Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now,” and American Young’s “Love Is War” all made the cut, and were broadcast from space to all the schools in China. Looks like Nashville is well-represented in modern Chinese culture. Now it's time to go Inside The Song. It’s always incredible to find something positive when going through hard times. That’s exactly where Heather Looney and Paige Logan of North Forty found their latest single. We caught up with them to learn about the inspiration for “Tell Me Something Good.”

Jerrod Niemann isn't a writer or artist that is made from the typical country mold today. He has a distincitive sound and style that some say is quite refreshing, taking an older country sound and making it fresh again. We had a chance to chat with Jerrod at a release party for his latest project and see what he's doing to "Free The Music."
Jerrod Niemann has been playing music most of his life, but after writing hits for Garth Brooks, Jamey Johnson, and a few other artists, his career finally took off. His first major label album "Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury," included his catchy number one hit "Lover, Lover," as well as the top five single "What Do You Want." Now on his second album for Arista Nashville's Sea Gayle division, "Free The Music" has a very different feel to it that he hopes his fans will love. We caught up with Jerrod at a showcase to celebrate that new album.

K105's Dan, Dude and Lori Mae morning show interview Darius Rucker in preparation for his arrival in Fort Wayne, Indiana on board the H20 Frozen Over Tour with Brad Paisley and Jerrod Niemann.
Continuing on looking back at some of our most popular features of the last year. Jerrod Niemann had his first number one hit as a writer on ‘Good Ride Cowboy,’ which brought Garth Brooks out of his retirement in 2005 to sing it as a tribute to his good friend the late Chris LeDoux. Since then, Jerrod has been working hard, pounding the pavement between gigs and writing sessions. That work is finally paying off with the release of his album ‘Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury,’ and the lead single went all the way to number one. We caught up with Jerrod at a party to celebrate his hit ‘Lover, Lover. Jerrod has been selected as one of the performers for the Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces showcase in March. This event will put him in front of even more radio executives from around the world.
Multi-platinum country artist Dierks Bentley hosted his fifth annual ‘Miles and Music For Kids’ right here in Middle Tennessee. The first four motorcycle rides brought in over 30-thousand fans and raised 1-point-2 million dollars for children’s hospitals across America, so expectations were high for this year’s ride. Kelly Lynn caught up with Dierks and a few of his friends before the ride kicked off in Columbia, Tennessee. The 90-minute ride ended with a huge concert at Nashville’s Riverfront Park, and included many of Dierks’ friends, like Miranda Lambert, Jerrod Niemann, Del McCoury and more. Together they raised about 250-thousand dollars, which will go to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
