Amidst this backdrop, Patrick Regan OBE embarked on a quest to rethink organisational wellbeing. Engaging in insightful conversations with leading experts across various disciplines, Patrick identified a pressing need for practical solutions that would empower organisations and their people. Brighter Days offers innovative training programs designed to address the evolving demands of the modern workplace. With Patrick's vision and expertise, Brighter Days has become a part of the solution, helping organisations and their people navigate uncertainty, develop resilience, and foster cultures that prioritise wellbeing and authenticity. We are reshaping the future of work, one brighter day at a time.Mental Health Awareness Week has played a huge role in changing how we talk about mental health. But for many organisations, the question now is: What actually changes? The 2026 theme, Action, reflects this shift — moving beyond awareness into the small, everyday behaviours that genuinely protect and improve mental health at work.A more practical approach to mental health at work:In many workplaces, the biggest challenges are not a lack of awareness, but:Knowing what to do in the momentSupporting others effectivelyCreating environments where people can actually thriveWe've delivered mental health and wellbeing programmes to over 350 organisations, and one thing is clear:Awareness alone rarely leads to lasting change. Our Mental Health Awareness Week programme is designed to change that — focusing on practical, realistic actions that support mental health at every level of the organisation.Talk to us about your MHAW plansPatrick Regan OBEPatrick Regan OBE is an award-winning author, activist and speaker with extensive experience in the UK charity and public sectors. After he and his family went through a series of personal trials and ill health, Patrick decided to step down from his previous role as CEO at XLP to create Kintsugi Hope, a charity which aims to create safe and supportive spaces for those suffering from emotional and mental health challenges. He recently started a business called Brighter Days Life and is an honorary fellow of the London South Bank University for his contribution to justice and wellbeing.

But in the end, all of the tracks herein can help reconfigure your mood, your day, maybe even ... your life. Send us Fan MailWelcome to Country Proud Living "Where Nurturing Spaces Empower Your Life and Everyday Feels a Little More Like Home." After a long winter, spring can feel emotional— because something inside you starts waking up again. In this episode, LoriLynn shares why nature and mental health are deeply connected, and how small, simple “nature rituals” (sunlight, fresh air, birdsong, a porch moment) can help you feel more grounded, calm, and like you again. In this episode: Why sunlight and fresh air are some of the most restorative “spring wellness” tools—and they're free Biophilic design: bringing nature indoors through plants, natural textures, and furniture placement Small ways to let spring guide your peace and priorities (presence over performance) A gentle invitation: choose one nature ritual this week and notice how it shifts your mood Information about Forsynthia bushes: https://extension.umn.edu/trees-and-shrubs/forsythia “Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth, find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.” — Rachel Carson Episode timeline

More verses to zip in: Trouble's been brewing too many years We need clean water and healthy food People need housing, we've a right to thrive Mass deportations tearing families apart We are the ones who can change the world We need education to build a just world Families need childcare, they don't need to go broke We need fair wages, rich folk need to be taxed! Add more verses to suit your actions. #146 Begin Again by Jean Farmer I begin again with my breath, joining earth, earth and spirit. I return again to my breath, walking home the unknown path. #168 The Net by Patricia Norton (inspired by Sri Nisargadatta) The net that I thought was holding me, it is full of holes, full of holes. The net that I thought was holding me, it is full of holes! The net that I thought was holding me tight – it is not a big barrier, I can get by it. The net that I thought was holding me, it is Full. Of. Holes. There is a ground of truth beyond the net! (a gazillion times) Like the water, I'm falling free. (4x) #184 Where the Moss Grows by David Ruffin Where the river flows and the moss on boulder grows, we can remember what we deeply know. There is time to be here and see what becomes clear... when we let it go, and go where the moss grows. Oh, when we let it go, and go where the moss grows. #36 Brighter Days by Jenny Cook There's so much hope in a snowdrop, the promise of spring to come. A new Gallup poll says that Americans are feeling unusually pessimistic about the future, with optimism hitting its lowest point in two decades. This week, host Paula Felps and social media manager Michelle Jones dig into the poll results and explore why so many people are struggling emotionally, and — more importantly — what practical, evidence‑based habits can help us stay grounded, hopeful, and connected during difficult times. They also share what's ahead for Happiness Month and how listeners can participate in this year's community‑driven #HappyActs initiative. In this episode, you'll learn: Why Americans are reporting historically low levels of optimism. How negativity bias and nonstop news consumption intensify feelings of gloom. Why balancing heaviness with humor or uplifting content can help regulate emotions.

A Personal Journey of Overcoming Life's Challenges - Dark Nights for Brighter Days by Simone Tuyell WhiteDark Nights for Brighter Days came to exist because of my life experience, different tests and trials, experiencing mental illness, and setbacks. It's about my Christian journey and different things I had to encounter, how my faith was tried, and how I overcame many obstacles. There were times I experienced some dark nights, where I was isolated in the hospital and people stereotyped me and I felt my rights of freedom was taken away and I felt all alone. During that time of my life, I learned that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. That's when the brighter days come. And when I get restored, replenished, renewed, and strengthened, I am educated that recovery is every day and that God is a healer, and he will restore your mind.Simone White is dedicated to God and her family. She is a wife and mom who loves her family. The reason why she is so dedicated to her family is because she came from a broken family. She loves to give, whether it is money, food, time, or whatever God leads her to do. She is a loving person, and she does not mind helping anyone. She loves to cook and learn new recipes, and she loves her church family and doing fellowship with them. She has been a certified licensed nurse assistant for fifteen years. When she was working as a nurse, she loved working with the elderly. Now, she is a stay-at- home mom and wife. Her greatest interest is writing poems. She hopes one day to be a bestseller and to reach a loss. She is married to a great man of God whom she loves more than words can explain. He is the best thing that has ever happened to her, her soul mate. Now he is a minister, and she remembers saying to herself that she does not want anyone in the ministry, but God had greater plans, and she is honored to be his wife and to be working together in the ministry. She loves to watch family movies and comedy movies because she loves a good laugh. She loves listening to music and playing board games, traveling, spending time with family, shopping, and having a good time.AMAZONwww.KingPagesPress.com http://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/103025kpp1.mp3

In this episode of the Journey of My Mother's Son podcast, we return from a one month hiatus with a monologue. Today marks five years that we have been traveling full-time in our RV. It also marks the first time in the history of the Journey of My Mother's Son podcast that an entire month passed without an episode being released. Why the break? Well, many of you know that Sandy had been in the hospital for eight days back in July. I you missed that, you can read the details about us looking forward to Brighter Days by clicking this link. One of the things that I talk about in this return episode is our need as humans to be able to make adjustments when life throws us a curve ball. That's what Sandy and I had to do last month. We planning on kicking off the presale campaign for my newest book, A Good Boy's Journey on my birthday and the book was initially slated to be released today. Obviously, that didn't happen. Instead, we spent my birthday with Sandy getting a kidney biopsy, so we made some adjustments. The presale campaign kicked off later than expected and the publication date will be later this month, but that's ok, we made the adjustment. Sandy's health was the priority and still is. Just remember in your own life, when life throws you those curve balls, you just have to bear down and make the adjustment. If you're interested in purchasing a copy of my newest book in the the presale campaign, be sure to do so now by clicking on the link below: A Good Boy's Journey Presale Campaign

It's finally here! Ariana's deluxe album for Eternal Sunshine is out and it is even better than I could have imagined. She also released a short film that'll pull at your heart stings. Another pop diva has announced her new album. Miley Cyrus' new album Something Beautiful is set to release on May 30th with a film to accompany the album in June. And I'm going to say right now that this album has MONEY behind it. No expense was spared. Kim/ SKIMS has bought back SKKN and they are going to relaunch it under the SKIMS brand. Kim sold 20 percent of SKKN in 2020 to beauty company Coty for $200 million, valuing the company at $1 billion. Want fruit and marijuana at the same time? Well you're in luck because Edible Arrangements now sells both! MO has a new EP out called Keep Moving and I am completely obsessed. Moms everywhere are uniting against Chappell Roan after she claimed that she doesn't know anyone who has kids at her age that are actually happy. Morgan Wallen has also upset the SNL community after he abruptly walked off stage as soon as the show ended instead of mingling with the cast mates.
