Here is my camera setup that I use to capture content in the outdoors, this video will help with what camera specs you should look for when picking a camera and lenses out. This video is for hunting and action sports specifically. Sony 16-35 f/2.8 Sony 24-105 f/4 Sony 24 f/1.4 Sony 70-200 f/2.8 Sony a6400 Sony a7siii Sony A1 Choosing the right camera setup for outdoor content largely depends on your specific needs, budget, and the type of content you want to create. Here are some considerations and recommendations to help you make an informed decision: Camera Type: DSLR or Mirrorless: These interchangeable-lens cameras offer excellent image quality, manual controls, and versatility. They are suitable for both photography and video. Action Camera: Ideal for capturing dynamic outdoor activities and adventures, such as biking, skiing, or water sports. They are compact, rugged, and often come with built-in stabilization. Camcorder: If video is your primary focus, a camcorder can provide features like long recording times, excellent autofocus, and image stabilization. Resolution and Image Quality: For professional-level content, consider cameras with at least 4K resolution for high-quality videos and photos. Weather Resistance: If you'll be shooting in challenging weather conditions, look for weather-sealed or rugged cameras to protect them from dust, moisture, and impacts. I sat down this week and talked with my good pal and Canon EOS R shooter Keith Arkins to talk about my experience shooting with Canons latest beast the R5. Canon Ireland were good enough to let me have the R5 with some amazing RF lenses, the 15-35, 24-70 and the 70-200. I had the gear for 5 days, shooting in Wicklow for a day and Connemara for 4 days with plenty of different scenes to test its weather sealing and most of all dynamic range!
