This episode revolves around the prosecution's opening argument in Donald Trump's criminal trial and whether or not the prosecution provided enough evidence to prove their case. Hawk reads the entire transcript of the opening statement delivered by prosecutor Matthew Colangelo on behalf of the Manhattan District Attorney's office. Colangelo meticulously lays out the prosecution's case, accusing Trump of orchestrating a criminal conspiracy to influence the 2016 presidential election by concealing damaging information about himself and paying hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal.Hawk asserts that the prosecution not only met but exceeded the commitments made in their opening statement, delivering overwhelming evidence that aligned precisely with Colangelo's outline. He encourages the listeners to reflect on the evidence presented during the trial, emphasizing the prosecution's ability to substantiate every claim made in the opening argument, and expresses confidence in the jury's ability to find Trump guilty of the 34 counts of falsifying business records based on the compelling evidence. Long have we been told that when there's blood in the water, the shark comes chasing… but what if the shark was really the one bleeding…what if the desperation was not coming so much from the prey, but from the predator? When Hildi Greenson gifted her late husband's collection of writings, lectures and ephemera to the UCLA Library of Special Collections, it should have been a relatively quiet transaction. A credit to any archive, some of the contents among the many, many boxes shuttled over from the Greenson residence came one strict proviso…boxes concerning Dr. Ralph Greenson's work with Marilyn Monroe must be sealed until January 1st, 2039. "Box 39" as it's come to be known - may hold the answers some us are looking for, it may even disclose Greenson's own assessment of what happened that final day. Whatever the reason for sealing up those documents, it's apparent that Hildi Greenson was striving to guard the memory of Monroe her husband tried so hard to preserve. While all of the players in this tragedy are all gone from this world - the story is far from over. @fascinationpod

Almost a century after Thomas Inces mysterious death, we are no closer to knowing what really happened on William Randolph Hearst’s yacht that November night. The theories however run rampant. Some believe Hearst shot Ince either on accident when he meant to kill someone else. Who was that someone else? Charlie Chaplin. Rumors swirled that Chaplin and Hearst’s girlfriend Marion Davies were a little too close for comfort. What is clear is that whatever took place that night on Hearst’s yacht is not something he wanted the world to know. He hired reporter Louella Parsons to subsequently silence her. Headlines about the event were changed at his behest. Even a cornor’s inquest was not held and his remains were subsequently cremated, putting an end to our chances to find out what really killed Thomas Ince.Dean Corll was the mastermind behind the Houston Heights Murders that left at least 28 boys dead. He enlisted the help of David Brooks, a teen whom he was abusing, and Elmer Wayne Henley. Brooks and Henley would lure teenage boys back to Corll’s place with the promise of alcohol and drugs. Or more simply a ride home. Most of their victims were treated like runaways, making Corll’s job a lot easier. Not many people were looking for these kids. But the night of August 8, 1973 would blow the lid right off this case. Nathan and Eppy cover our second two-parter episode, a Season Three gem featuring notable character actor Strother Martin as the titular T.T. Flowers, an elderly farmer who refuses to sell his land to a predatory real estate developer. Through a scheme involving his shady son-in-law and an ethically bankrupt psychiatrist, T.T. is hauled off against his will to a mental institution; but Rocky knows that something isn't right. Once he get Jim on the case, it's just a matter of time until he starts to uncover the scheme, but he faces numerous attempts on his life as he tries to find some hard evidence to prove the wild conspiracy. Guest: TH Johnson, Author, Film Director, Expert on OJ Simpson Murder Trial and InvestigationAs OMIG, (Ocean Medical Investigative Group's), investigative team coordinator, Thomas H. Johnson, is nicknamed the traffic cop in managing an eclectic group of investigators whose common goal has been the discovery of suppressed or concealed evidence in the OJ Simpson Murder case since 1996. Much of Johnson's and the OMIG group's discoveries point to Simpson's innocence and raises concerns of malfeasance by sworn court officers in regard to other suspects.
