All Night Honky Tonk Man.⦁ Dallas Moore, Every Night I Burn Another Honky Tonk Down ⦁ Jason Ringenberg, I Rode With Crazy Horse ⦁ Corb Lund (featuring Jaida Dreyer), Horse Poor⦁ Mac Leaphart, Honey, shake ⦁ Lasers Lasers Birmingham, Can You Believe My Luck ⦁ Tony Joe White, Boot Money ⦁ Rev. The Rough Housers, Life's a Drag ⦁ The Rough Housers, My Bonneville⦁ The Hawkmen, Dive Bar Boogie ⦁ Iain Terry & The Smiley Jacks Band, Rockabilly Drag Racer' ⦁ Frank Jacket, True Love Ways ⦁ Alpha Rhythm Kings, Keep a Dollar in Your Pocket⦁ Alpha Rhythm Kings, School Days⦁ Lee Rocker, Ophelia⦁ Lee Rocker, Every Time I See You ⦁ Rodney Crowell, She's Back In Town ⦁ Shannon McNally, I Ain't Living Long Like This ⦁ John Paul Keith, Love Love Love⦁ John Paul Keith, Ain't Done Loving You yet⦁ Tony Holiday, She Knocks Me Out⦁ Dallas Moore, California Highway⦁ Dale Watson, Agent Elvis⦁ Frank Jacket, Black Hole Sun
Escuchar audio

Matt sits down with Shred Dog co-founders Marc Dietz & Dallas Moore. Shred dog is a technical apparel company making kid's clothes for now, but they do plan on expanding into men's and women's apparel. They decided to start small, literally. In a lot of ways, they're changing the way people look at kids' technical apparel. For the longest time kids' gear didn't get much attention because they'll just outgrow their apparel. Shred Dog actually addresses this by bringing new technology to the table to help you get more out of your kids' gear. Another fairly wide hurdle is how to market a product for their parents who don't really know a ton about technical apparel themselves. In this episode, Dallas and Marc chat about their approach to marketing their products, both in the abstract sense and with kids products specifically, the importance of finding balance from your business partner, some interesting challenges that come with building a business rooted in kids outdoor apparel.
In this week's episode, we're featuring the second album in as many years for road warrior Dallas Moore: "Tryin' To Be A Blessing" (2019). Moore has been touring the country relentlessly for the last three decades, and even after all that time on the road, it was during a 2018 collaboration with Dean Miller (son of Roger Miller) in which Moore says he finally found the honky tonk sound he'd been looking for. His sound. Our feature album is the second project with Miller, recorded in only two days in a "lightning in a bottle" type situation, as Moore puts it. "Tryin' To Be A Blessing" is refreshingly autobiographical and six of the nine songs come from Moore's own pen. The album is dedicated to his late parents, who were married for over 60 years and passed away within weeks of each other just before the record's conception. "Mama & Daddy" pays homage to his upbringing; "All I Need" has a little Bakersfield-style to it; "Everything But You" chronicles the downsides of life on the road for the hard working Dallas Moore and the title track is a beautifully composed slice of optimism bundled in a rough-hewn country package. It seems to this reviewer that when Johnny Cash sang about "the gravel in ya guts and the spit in ya eye" in "A Boy Named Sue" - that somehow Cash's gravel has ended up in the vocals of the gritty Dallas Moore. And that grit makes for some excellent raw and ready honky tonk listening.

We sat down with rising country singer Renee Blair and up-and-coming artist Reginald Hawkins to chat about what exactly the term "rising star" means to them. What are some important landmarks in an artist's career? How does an artist know they're "breaking"? We also covered some of the hottest new tracks from artists on the rise, including releases from Melii, Example, Dallas Moore, Four of Diamonds and GRACEY.

It might seem like Dallas can see the future if you didn’t know the effort he has put in. See learning is continual. Or it should be if you want to master a discipline. Once mastered then you see the trends and can plan accordingly. We don’t have a lot of debt. So moving here into the, you know, into our small office we’ve got here and then building the barn back behind our house, you know, our debt, our debt loads a lot lower than it was when we had a shop and employees and everything else. So being cognizant of that and knowing what I have to work with really helps me focus on what I’m trying to do. Sure. Um, when’s the last time you created a listing? Right? And when you create that listing, you’ve got to come up with the keywords, right? It’s all key word dependent. I don’t care if it’s a private label or wholesale. You’ve got to get it right. Well, what’s the best way to get it right? And if you’re selling a similar product that’s really successful, you go and you take and use their keywords and that’s what scope does for you. So phenomenal tool brought to you by seller labs. Part 2 in the Mike and Willie chronicles, Hutch and Adam are joined by guests Mike and Willie at Casa del Geckler. Everyone starts to get hammered for what would be the finale of the Mike and Willie chronicles....to be continued Presented in Hi-Fi stereo Special Guests: Mike Willie Dallas Moore Music by Stelt

An addendum to the previous episode, Hutch and Adam never ended episode 19 properly, but not ready to do episode 20. The guys are joined by Val and special guest Sarah Desjean at Adam's house. Hutch, Val and Sarah show off their sex items from Adult Megaplex. Adam gives a shout out to Dallas Moore, and Sarah reviews the Thelma and the sleaze/Craig Brown band shows in s.a and austin. S.T.T gives their condolences for Erin Popovich, Coach Pop's Wife. Adam once again gives very inaccurate scenarios involving the Old Milwaukee commercial guys and Avenged Sevenfold. Hutch pulls up some old memories of T.V themes on the 80's and 90's, including old nickelodeon shows. Special Guest: Sarah Desjean Music by Stelt
This is take 2 of this particular recording. The first take went off the rails very quickly and was unfit for the public. The song we talk about and never name is "Beats All I've Ever Seen" by Dallas Moore.
