POPULARITY

Totuna e dac-ai murit Flăcău ori moş îngârbovit; Dar nu-i totuna leu să mori Ori câine-nlănţuit…”. To her delight, co-founder and director Bob George agreed to an on-site interview. Mr. George discusses how he got his start in the music industry, how the ARChive came to be, and how it ended up in a former piggery in Staatsburg owned by hotelier Andre Balazs. He also discusses the challenges the ARChive is currently facing, including their search for a new home. The good news is that they hope to stay in the area if they can find a location and there are plans to grow the ARChive into something the public can enjoy with spaces for conferences, live music, deejaying, dance, and more. Hello and welcome to the Tech and Trees Podcast - What are the big shifts that technology will bring about on the African continent? I spoke to the most active venture capitalist on the continent about the trends he sees. Zachariah George and his fund “Launch Africa” have made 133 investments across 22 countries over the past 2 ½ years, so he is on top of what is happening. This conversation is less about sustainability and more about the macro-view that a generalist investor has when it comes to Africa. Zach and I spend the first fifteen minutes talking about how he views balance or work-life-integration as he calls it and how he handles being a single father and super-active venture investor at the same time. You get a pretty good sense of Zach's thinking before we dive into why he is bullish on Africa. So sit back, listen and hopefully become more bullish on Africa as well. The marketing space is growing increasingly saturated with hollow, one-dimensional, and even culturally exploitative marketing campaigns, and peoples’ ability to see through these shallow plays is sharper than ever. Brands and marketers know they have to tell stories and be discoverable, but their approach can either make them feel dated, lazy or out of touch or the complete opposite. Today’s guest is Tamon George, co-founder of Creative Theory, a consultancy/creative agency that helps their clients identify a path to their true story, navigate important culture moments, and prioritize diversity and representation in their marketing and engagement efforts.

He shares the use cases for prediction markets, including information discovery, incentivizing behavior and establishing financial markets.Stefan goes on to describe how financial markets created on prediction systems differ in terms of bounded loss and winnings and walk us through the process of creating a market on GNOSIS. He also explains the concept of conditional token design, the team’s decision to utilize a Dutch auction model, and the new dxDAO governance community. Niciodata nu m-am gandit că ar putea exista o poveste in spatele acelui om. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dulceromanie/message
The Carmelo Anthony Experiment in Houston, Will Markelle Fultz Make A Big Three in Philly?, Can Russell Westbrook and Paul George Co-Exist?, and much more!
In which our heroes put on their lycra, pump up their tyres, find their safest helmet and start peddling as they talk all things bicycles. We take a look at the four set phrases bosses say, wonder if death threats make something cool and then just spaghet about it as we hop into our saucy side car! Jackson defines a bike poorly straight off the bat, George has fond memories of Shallow Hal and Duscher just wants to learn how to pronounce statistician correctly. It all goes downhill quick and then never really recovers, which is good because uphill is hard. Want to help us develop the first ever bossicycle? Head to http://www.patreon.com/sanspantsradio and for as little as $1 a month, you can help us reach the next step in employee/employer relationships. To see more of George and to book tickets to his one man show head to http://www.georgedima.com. George & Co. (the solo tour) is running from now til Sunday the 3rd of April downstairs at the Grand Mercure, so come on down and we might see you there! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
In which our heroes crash land on planet earth, lose their parents to a mugger, and then decide to punch on as they speculate what’s gonna happen in Batman v Superman. We talk about every other superhero film instead, delve into the injustice fan theory that makes Man of Steel better and start our very own Civil War. Duscher defends Spider-Man 3, Zammit really wants a courtroom drama, George puts all the blame on David S. Goyer’s need to be seen as a rad guy and Jackson just wants it to be the Super Friends. So line up for the midnight screening, get comfy in your seats, let us know it you’re #TeamJoel or #TeamJoel and hope that this (probable) train wreck of a film never slows down. Want to help Metropolis recover from even more collateral damage?
