In dieser Folge geht es um den vor drei Jahren verstorbenen Zeitzeugen Raymond Gureme. Außerdem hatte ich Paula Mittrowann zu Gast. Raymond Gureme war ein Aktivist und Teil der Jugendgedenkfahrt Dikh He na Bister. Dort leistete er Bildungsarbeit. Er inspirierte und bestärkte viele Jungen Leute und reiste in Europa um, von seinen Erfahrungen zu erzählen. Er war ein Manouch, dies ist die Eigenbezeichnung einer Sinti & Roma Community in Frankreich. Seine Familie besaß einen Wanderzirkus und zog damit durch verschiedenen Länder. Nachdem das „herumziehen“ verboten wurde, landeten er und seine Familie in einem Lager für „Nomaden“. In seinem Buch „Interdit aux Nomades“ beschreibt Gureme sein Leben in diesem Lager und erzählt von den menschenunwürdigen Bedingungen. Ihm und seinem Bruder gelang es aus dem Lager zu fliehen, seine Familie wurden in verschiedenen weiteren Lager gefangen gehalten. Er wurde wegen kleinere Delikte verhaftet und zur Zwangsarbeit nach Deutschland gebracht. Nach einem Jahr gelang es ihm zu flüchten und nach Frankreich zurückzukehren. Dort beschloss er, teil der Widerstandsbewegung, die Résistance, zu werden. In ganz Frankreich sprach er regelmäßig in Schulen und bei öffentlichen Veranstaltungen. Nachdem er 2011 sein Buch veröffentlichte, bekam er vom französischen Kulturminister einen Preis verliehen. Dieser Staatsorden wurde ihm für seinen Beitrag zum Kampf gegen die Diskriminierung der Sinti und Roma verliehen. Folgt uns auf den sozialen Medien. Conozco a Fátima Torre desde hace mucho tiempo, la admiro por ser una mujer revolucionaria y eso mismo comparte en redes, además de ser una gran actriz y podcaster en su programa “Con Madres”. Nuestras familias eran prácticamente vecinas, cuando yo estaba chavito yo patinaba con sus hermanos mayores, así que te imaginarás que esta plática iba para largo. Arrancó contando que creció en una familia muy unida y tradicional de 11 hermanos, sí, leíste bien, 11 hermanos. Empezó su carrera súper chiquita a los 4 años, y siempre muy feliz de estar en un set. Todo era color de rosa, quedaba en una novela tras otra, pero todos sabemos que nada es perfecto y entonces le llegó la pubertad, estaba en un limbo entre ser muy grande para hacer novelas infantiles, y muy chavita para los papeles de adolescente, fue cuando empezaron sus primeros rechazos, esto fue una bomba que no venía venir, le afectó tanto que llegó a tener una crisis de identidad, decía, “¿Si no soy actriz, entonces quién soy?”. Con su espíritu creativo decidió estudiar fotografía, pero la actuación era lo más importante, ya tenía como 2 o 3 años que no quedaba en proyectos a pesar de hacer un montón de castings, esto le trajo su primera depresión, después de tanto rechazo pensó que quizás no era tan buena actriz, necesitaba dar un giro y tuvo que trabajar en ella para encontrar su identidad fuera de la actuación. Después de muchos “No”, se quedó en la novela “Soy tu dueña”, y ese personaje fue unos de sus “big breaks”, tanto que la llevó a ganar el premio TVyNovelas a "Mejor revelación femenina". Durante años trabajó en televisa y comentó que ahí se le da mucha importancia al físico y los estereotipos, así que a ella la encasillaron en personajes de niña buena, y por tener el pelo negro siempre le daban el mismo tipo de papeles. Le llego una propuesta inesperada de la revista “H” para hombres, y una de las cosas que la hicieron aceptar fue dejar de ser colocada siempre en el mismo tipo de papel actoral, ella quería experimentar nuevos personajes, pero esto le salió contraproducente porque no le ayudó a conseguirlo. Realmente Fátima abrió su corazón, contó que creció siempre haciendo lo “correcto” según la sociedad, se casó con el primer novio con el que tuvo relaciones, porque claro es lo que se dice que “se debe hacer”, el paso siguiente era convertirse en mamá y es cuando empieza a cuestionar todo, nos confesó que fue mamá sin ser consciente de la responsabilidad que esto implica, llegó ahí sin saber si realmente quería, solo era “lo que tenía que hacer”. ¿Te has preguntado si la forma en la que piensas es por ti o por ideas impuestas? Sintió que llegó a un punto que tenía que pensar en ella y se dio cuenta que necesitaba deconstruirse y volver a conocerse, pero esta vez dejando a un lado lo que sus papás le inculcaron y lo que la gente piensa. Nos contó que sus hijos la han hecho ser mejor persona, y la han ayudado a evolucionar y está feliz de ser madre. Esto la llevó a informarse sobre el feminismo y a educar a  sus hijos para que ellos crezcan con ideas diferentes y así poner su granito de arena. Su peor error en la familia ha sido callar su voz y seguir lo que su familia le decía que tenía que hacer sin cuestionarse. En el trabajo, hablar de política en redes sociales. En esta parte nos reímos mucho y confeso que uno de sus grandes errores fue haberse casado con el primer hombre con el que tuvo relaciones por ideologías que le impusieron. Por último en las relaciones personales, fue permanecer con personas por pertenecer, confesó que tuvo amigas de toda la vida y cuando fue a terapia se dio cuenta de lo tóxicas que eran para ella. En terapia entendió que ella estaba en ese tipo de relaciones porque también tenía una cantidad de toxicidad. Fue una delicia esta plática porque es una mujer que tiene mucho que aportar a través de su proceso de deconstrucción y de cambios que ha tenido que generar para ser leal a ella. ¿Cuál fue tu parte favorita de la plática?

Rowena Marin is a Romani woman, author of Who Am I in the World, and Global Agency Lead at Google, in New York. She is the co-founder of The School of Reinvention - a company meant to help people align with their passions and purpose. Rowena comes from a closed community of Silversmith Roma from Romania and managed to succeed in her career through education  based in Romania, Spain, France, India, and China. Dr. Doom aka Dr. Victor von Doom ist ein Marvel Charakter, der Rom und Politiker des fiktiven Staates „Latveria“ist. Erstmalig erschien er im Marvel Comic „Fantastic Four 5. Ausgabe“ im April 1962. Er wurde als verrückter Wissenschaftler und Magier, ein Erzfeind der Fantastischen Vier bekannt, sein Charackter stellt einen brillianten Wissenschaftler im Marvel Universum dar. Victor von Doom wurde in einem Roma-Lager außerhalb von Haasenstadt, Latveria, geboren. Seine Romani Mutter wurde bei einem Kampf getötet. Sein Vater starb bei der Flucht. In dem 2005 erschienen Kinofilm Fantastic Four wird der Roma Background des Dr. Doom nicht thematisiert. Er ist Leiter der Münchner Beratungsstelle für Sinti und Roma. Dabei weiß Alexander Diepold lange nicht, dass er auch ein Sinto ist. Er erzählt von der Spurensuche nach seinem Vater und seinem Lebensprojekt, dem Münchner Madhouse, das sich um schwer erziehbare Jugendliche kümmert und das er - selbst ein Heimkind - vor 35 Jahren gegründet hat. Heute ist ein wichtiger Tag für Sinti:zze und Rom:nja. Es ist der internationale Tag der Sinti:zze & Rom:nja. Dieser hat seinen Ursprung beim ersten „World Romani Congress“ welcher erstmals am 08. April 1971 im Vereinigten Königreich Großbritannien stattfand. Finanziert wurde der Kongress vom World Council of Churches und der Indische Regierung. Ziel dieses Kongresses war es über Themen wie die Kriegsverbrechen, sozialen Angelegenheiten, Bildung, Sprache und Kultur der Sinti und Roma zu besprechen. Außerdem wurde die Flagge als allgemeines Symbol der internationalen proklamiert. Das Blau in der oberen Hälfte und das Grün in der unteren Hälfte repräsentieren Himmel und Erde. Im Zentrum der Flagge steht ein rotes Chakra, auch Speichenrad genannt. Das Chakra bezieht sich auf den indischen Backround der Rom:nja & Sinti:zze. Das Lied „Djelem, djelem“, ursprünglich von Zarko Jovanovic als Poem über den Porrajmos kreiert, wurde von Šaban Bajramović adaptiert um den Song als internationale Hymne der Rom:nja fest zu legen. Im Laufe der Zeit wurde “Djelem, djelem“ von unterschiedlichen Rom:nja Künstler:innen aus Europa, u.a. von Esma Redzepova, gecovert. Außerdem wird darüber gesprochen, was sich seither für Sinti:zze und Rom:nja geändert hat, sowohl Positiv als auch Negativ. Jennileen Joseph of Sastimos Holistic Health brings herself as a Rroma woman into how she approaches all aspects of herbalism and Ayurveda, encouraging people to understand healing from a lens of relationship to land and community. The stories of plants and people are intertwined, as they have grown alongside one another since time immemorial.Jennileen received her bachelor's degree from New York University in US History: Origins and Effects of Intergenerational Trauma. She is a graduate of the Clinical Herbalism I and II programs, as well as the Ayurvedic Studies program, from the University of New Mexico. She apprenticed with Herbalist and Ayurvedic practitioner Sonia Masocco for several years, where she focused on herbal pharmacy, teaching, and working one-on-one with clients. Con las manos se puede proporcionar el puñetazo más violento al enemigo, o la caricia más dulce al ser amado. Se puede con ellas robar descaradamente lo ajeno, o con honradez proveer el pan de la familia. Las manos de Rebeca Rosario sirvieron para salvarle la vida. Hay en la historia universal otras manos que, sin salvar la vida de quien las extendía, fueron traspasadas para obtener la salvación de la humanidad entera. Fueron las manos benditas del divino Redentor, el Señor Jesucristo. Sus manos fueron clavadas a la cruz del Calvario a fin de que Él diera su vida por la de todo ser humano. Ahora cualquier persona de cualquier raza, pueblo, color o idioma, de cualquier condición económica, clase social o religión, puede ser eternamente salva con sólo creer que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios y que dio su vida en la cruz del Calvario como precio de rescate para su salvación. Muy triste, el niño se volteó para regresar a su hogar. ¡Cuál fue su sorpresa al mirar la colina de enfrente! ¡Allí había una casa con ventanas de oro! Y más se sorprendió al ver que, en realidad, era su casa la que brillaba hermosamente.Esta historia nos muestra que muchas veces nos quejamos o nos sentimos tristes porque vemos que la vida de otros es mejor que la nuestra. O las cosas que hacen otros nos parecen mucho más divertidas y entretenidas que las cosas que nosotros hacemos. Pero la verdad es que lo que tú puedes estar viendo de lejos quizás no sea lo que realmente es. Lo que realmente hacia brillar las ventanas de ambas casas era el sol que se reflejaba en los vidrios.Para nosotros, Jesús es nuestro Sol de justicia, y te aseguro que él es el único capaz de hacer brillar tu corazón a pesar de lo descolorido que te parezca. Das Jahr bringt sowohl schöne als auch weniger schöne Ereignisse mit sich. Es geht in die richtige Richtung. Es wird darüber gesprochen, dass in Spanien die Gesetze gegen Diskriminierung an Sinti:zze und Rom:nja geändert wurden. Die Diskriminierung gegenüber der Roma Gemeinschaft wird mit Gefängnishaft bestraft. Außerdem setzten sich immer wieder große Vereine für Sinti:zze und Rom:nja ein, als Beispiel hierfür wird der Fußballverein Mainz 05 genannt. Die beiden sprechen aber auch über die Polizeigewalt an jugendlichen Sinti:zze und Rom:nja aus rassistischen Gründen. Außerdem wird Netflix unter die Lupe genommen, denn auch hier werden Witze über den Holocaust gemacht bzw. dieser verharmlost. Während des Ukrainekriegs werden Sinti:zze und Rom:nja vermehrt diskriminiert. Ihnen werden nicht die gleichen Chancen gewehrt, wie anderen Kriegsflüchtlingen. Der ehemalige kosovarische Präsident Hashim Thaçi wurde wegen Kriegsverbrechen angeklagt. Er ist in Folge der Anklage von der Präsidentschaft zurückgetreten. In der vierten und letzten Folge dieser Staffel befassen wir uns mit der Benachteiligung von Sinti:zze und Rom:nja im Bildungswesen. Zu Gast sind heute die Expert:innen Dr. Jane Weiß, Jasar Dzemailovski und Nino Novakovic. Aufgrund der institutionellen Diskriminierung von Sinti:zze und Rom:nja im Bildungssystem, ist das durchschnittliche Bildungsniveau weit unter dem der restlichen Bevölkerung. Um die jungen Leute zu motivieren und zu unterstützen gibt es verschiedene Stipendien, die Sinti:zze und Rom:nja während ihrer schulischen Ausbildung und des Studiums sowohl ideell als auch finanziell unterstützen. Es ist wichtig Studierenden Sinti:zze und Rom:nja eine Stimme zu geben, um die Stereotype und Vorurteile aufzubrechen, denn auch sie sind erfolgreich und Teil dieser Gesellschaft. Fazit der Staffel: Es müssen mehr Räume geschaffen werden, in denen Sinti:zze und Rom:nja selbstbestimmt sprechen können und in denen ihnen zugehört wird. Eine ehrliche und respektvolle Aufarbeitung über den institutionellen Antiziganismus muss stattfinden. Zusätzlich sollten alle Menschen die gleichen Bildungschancen haben, um sich auf Augenhöhe begegnen zu können. Rassismus gegen Sinti:zze und Rom:nja muss auf allen Ebenen bekämpft werden. Jake, otherwise known as Kardos Cieslinski, is a life long learner and dabbler.  He grew up in between music and the trades. He worked in the coffee industry for 10 years, went to school for neuroscience which turned to film, and finally psychology. For graduate school he went to Berkeley for architecture then dropped out. He has lived in six different cities over the past 11 years, and plays drums, ukulele, and accordion. He recently graduated as a Social worker, works full time at a childrens center, part time as a ceramic teacher and he runs Cieslinski Goods and Kushti Bok aromatics. Estrenos en plataformas, en salas, series que no se pueden dejar de ver, el Festival de Huelva de Cine Iberoamericano. Muchos temas, muy variados, todos interesantes. comenzamos con Joaquín Sabina, Fernando león de Aranoa y Leiva, con ellos. Hemos estado para hablar de "Sintiéndolo Mucho", el documental que llega a las salas tras quince años de trabajo. El retrato de ese Joaquín Sabina que conocemos, de voz rota con el cigarro en mano y el bombín y el que desconocemos, la cara B del personaje, sus intimidades, sus miedos y debilidades. Otro de los títulos muy esperados es La nueva película escrita y dirigida por Pilar Palomero, La maternal. Concha de Plata a Mejor interpretación en el pasado festival de San Sebastián. Una historia de superación y de valentia, también de incomunicación y miedo. Con sus protagonistas Carla Quiílez y Ángela Cervantes y su directora Pilar Palomero charlamos de este retrato de la maternidad en la adolescencia.Una de las películas de estas navidades es Reyes contra Santa que adelanta su estreno en noviembre.  Con sus majestades, Melchor, Karra Elejalde, Baltasar, Matías Janick, y por supuesto Paco Caballero, su director, comentamos en el Festival de Sevilla, esta comedia que nos va hacer pasar 106 minutos de película.Si todavía no se han decidido que ver muy atentos, Armageddon Time, la nueva película del aclamado James Gray,con el que charlamos de esta produción ambientada en el Queens de los 80, basada en la infancia del director y protagonizada por un increíble Anthony Hopkins, un gran Jeremy Strong y una impecable Anne Hathaway.Otro título interesante, ambientada en la China invadida por el ejército japonés a principios de los años treinta, es Cliff Walkers,una vertiginosa película de espionaje, dirigida por Zhang Yimou con 7 nominaciones en los premios nacionales de China, Golden Rooster Awards. Con Elio Castro nos detenemos en esta cinta que pasó hace unas semanas por el Asian Film Festival de Barcelona. y de un festival a otro el de Huelva, desde allí Teresa Montoro nos comenta las últimas noticias y se detiene con Manuela Martelli, directora y actriz chilena de 1976, la película que cerrará las proyecciones de la 48 edición, como película de clausura y que llega esta semana a la cartelera.Uno de los títulos que llega a Netflix y no se pueden perder es, The Wonder, EL PRODIGIO, Un drama basado en la novela de Emma Donoghue, dirigido por el prestigioso Sebastián Lelio.
