After a little bit of a break I was joined by Poland's history maker in Dorota Zalewska who became the first ever Polish player to win a tour card on Ladies European Tour in 2024 gaining 3 top 20's in her rookie season & held the lead at this year's Dutch Open at Goyer. Dorota is from Szczesin, Poland and started out the game with her father at the age of 10 at Modry Las GC and has won Polish Junior Championship, Polish Matchplay & Polish Amateur Ladies Open. Dori went to University of Tennessee at Chattanooga winning 4 times at Chattanooga including NCAA Raleigh Regionals in 2023 and has represented Poland at 4 Espirito Santo Trophy's & 2 European Ladies' Amateur Team Championships. Growing up Dori played numerous sports including Tennis where we eventually talk about Polish sports people including now 6x Grand Slam winner Iga Swiatek, Hubert Hurkacz & the legendary Robert Lewandowski. Dori speaks about her admiration for everything that Iga Swiatek has done in Tennis for the whole scale of Poland. We also have a chat about Makaron z Trustkawkami which is effectively Pasta with Strawberries & Cream which came into the spotlight recently as Swiatek's favourite meal. I want to thank Dorota for coming on and being a pleasure to chat with. I wish her all the best in her quest to keep her playing privileges for the next season. Be sure to listen, download while leaving a like and subscribe via the usual platforms Podbean, Apple Podcasts & Spotify. Enjoy!

Hollywood writer and producer David Goyer — known for “Blade,” “Foundation” and his writing on Christopher Nolan's “The Dark Knight” Trilogy — explores new formats of storytelling that are bridging the gap between AI and traditional entertainment through his latest franchise project "Emergence" and the AI-powered platform Incention, powered by the Story blockchain. Live from NAB Show in Las Vegas, in conversation with Reel AI columnist and producer Erik Barmack (plus a lively audience Q&A), Goyer unpacks how technological and narrative innovation can activate fandoms and transform traditional IP structures to reach new audiences everywhere. The self-described "tech-adjacent" creative describes his experiment with AI in part as a mission to "build some guardrails and some use cases that aid the creator." Learn more about your ad choices. Blade is a 1998 American superhero film directed by Stephen Norrington and written by David S. Goyer. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, it is the first installment of the Blade franchise. The film stars Wesley Snipes as the titular character with Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson and N'Bushe Wright in supporting roles. Blade is a Dhampir, a human with vampire strengths but not their weaknesses, who fights against vampires. Blade was released in the United States on August 21, 1998, and was a commercial success, grossing $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $60.2 million worldwide. Despite mixed reviews from film critics, the film received a positive reception from audiences and has since garnered a cult following. It is also hailed as one of Snipes's signature roles.[4] Blade was noted as a dark superhero film for its time,[5] as well as being Marvel's first successful film and setting the stage for further comic book film adaptations.[6][7] It was followed by two sequels, Blade II (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004), both written by Goyer, who also directed the latter.

In this thought-provoking episode I interview NVC trainer, Mary Goyer, about one of the most challenging topics for couples to talk about openly: sex. Why is it so hard to discuss sex openly, compassionately, and connectedly, and how can Nonviolent Communication help us through this so we can have the amazing sex lives we long for? Exploring various barriers to communication, Mary addresses societal conditioning, individual traumas, and limiting beliefs surrounding sexuality. From systemic challenges to personal experiences of trauma, we examine how these factors contribute to the difficulty of expressing one's desires and needs in intimate relationships. Throughout the episode, Mary shares practical strategies based in Nonviolent Communication to support us all in having more satisfying sex lives. We cover a wide range of topics, including how to address judgments, how to negotiate differences in preferences, and how consent can be hot. Worried that talking about sex will kill the vibe? Don't worry! We address that head on, and show you how it can actually have the opposite effect. Join us as we challenge societal norms, break down communication barriers, and empower couples to embrace open, honest, connecting conversations about sex and intimacy. Whether you're new to NVC or a seasoned practitioner, this episode offers valuable guidance for enhancing connection and satisfaction in your sex life. Resources Mary Goyer, featured guest: 1. Welcome to Multiverse News, Your one-stop-shop for Information about all your favorite fictional universes. As of Sunday, the Writers Guild reached a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers to end its strike after nearly five months. The parties finalized the framework of the deal Sunday when they were able to untangle their stalemate over AI and writing room staffing levels. This is welcome news to everyone involved no doubt and hopefully means the actor's strike will soon follow suit. The first trailer for the upcoming three-episode Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Special has premiered to excited Whovians everywhere. The trailer features David Tennant portraying a reincarnation of his Tenth Doctor who reunites with his companion Donna Noble played by Catherine Tate, as well as Jemma Redgrave reprising her role as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, and Neil Patrick Harris will play The Toymaker, an all-powerful villain who first appeared in 1966. For reasons unknown to many, a reboot of the U.S. version of The Office is rumored to be in the works. Original creator Greg Daniels is reportedly returning and has previously hinted at bringing the show back, but with different actors in the roles. Daniels has also been quoted as saying he envisioned it as a quote “extension of the universe…but I don't know if that would be something people want…” end quote. In a recent podcast interview, screenwriter David S. Goyer let loose some interesting info about the Christopher Nolan Batman films, stating that he vouched for Jake Gyllenhaal to portray the titular character of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Goyer continued to tantalize saying that he is pretty sure there is test footage laying around somewhere of Gyllenhaal's audition in a Batman costume. We also could have had a Leonardo DiCaprio version of The Riddler, if an unnamed Warner Bros. executive had gotten their way. The Dark Knight trilogy is often lauded as some of the best feature films of the Caped Crusader. Amazon has announced that its Prime Video service will feature limited ads beginning in early 2024 and the ad tier will be the default option for Prime Video. Lionsgate has released a new trailer for The Hunger Games prequel film Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The film is set to hit theaters on November 17th, despite the ongoing actor's strike. During what is expected to be the worst weekend for theatrical ticket sales so far this year, Expendables 4 landed only $8.3 million in its opening weekend, representing the worst opening for a film in the franchise. It was narrowly bested by The Nun II, which continues its reign at the September box office. Gareth Edwards' hotly anticipated sci-fi epic The Creator has finally been unveiled for its first audience, with a press screening taking place last week. Judging by the early social media reaction from journalists and critics, there is almost universal praise for the way The Creator looks and the stunning work of cinematographers Oren Soffer and Greig Fraser. Many of those who saw the film last Monday described it as one of 2023's best films. The movie releases this week on September 29th.

While on hiatus, Enrique decided to take things into his ow hands to guarantee that DBB Inc, has never missed out on a week in their entire damn career! After declaring, Robert Pattison's The Batman is the best single Batman movie, he goes back and watches what people consider the definitive trilogy to decide once and for all, for himself of course. Movie Summary: The Dark Knight Rises is a 2012 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan, and the story with David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, it is the final installment in Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, and the sequel to The Dark Knight (2008). The film stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman, alongside Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman. Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist Bane forces Bruce Wayne to resume his role as Batman and save Gotham City from nuclear destruction. Christopher Nolan was hesitant about returning to the series for a third film, but agreed after developing a story with his brother and Goyer that he felt would conclude the series on a satisfactory note. Nolan drew inspiration from Bane's comic book debut in the 1993 "Knightfall" storyline, the 1986 series The Dark Knight Returns, and the 1999 storyline "No Man's Land". Filming took place from May to November 2011 in locations including Jodhpur, London, Nottingham, Glasgow, Los Angeles, New York City, Newark, and Pittsburgh. Nolan used IMAX 70 mm film cameras for much of the filming, including the first six minutes of the film, to optimize the quality of the picture. A vehicle variation of the Batplane and Batcopter termed the "Bat", an underground prison set, and a new Batcave set were created specifically for the film. As with The Dark Knight, viral marketing campaigns began early during production. When filming concluded, Warner Bros. refocused its campaign, developing promotional websites, releasing the first six minutes of the film, screening theatrical trailers, and sending out information regarding the film's plot.

Note: links may be affiliate links that provide me with a small commission at no extra expense to you. Why Did This YA Rom-Com Author Decide to Defect to Amish? Amish fiction--tales of maidens in kapps, men in straw hats, and a life lived at a buggy's pace. Or so they say. When Christen Krumm's synopsis of On the Golden Cliffs described a fish-out-of-water story--kind of two of them in one--I knew I had to read it. Listening to her talk about the process by which she auditioned (talk about waiting until the last possible second!) only confirmed that. Christen Krumm combines a social media influencer with an Amish novelist (shh... no one is supposed to know!) and throws them together. What isn't to love? What could be better? Oh, I know... the fact that she's going to write TWO MORE BOOKS in this series. EEEP! On the Golden Cliffs by Christen Krumm One wrong post has sent influencer Lyla Taylor's social media empire crashing to her feet. To save it, she'll have to escape to rural Montana. Six weeks in a high-end spa won't hurt…except, she's not booked into a spa, but at a rustic Amish B&B. Suddenly, her roommates are raccoons, and her daily activities include hanging laundry. Thanks, but no thanks. Lyla is ready to hit delete and head back to civilization. Amishman Reuben Milner has a secret…one that could destroy his world. For now, however, he's kept his life as a novelist under wraps, focusing on providing for his family after the tragic passing of his father. Renting the dawdi house seems the right move—until the wrong woman moves in. However, she comes with ideas to help improve their B&B, and that, along with her feisty personality, is something Reuben can't ignore. Even if the elders want him to focus on joining the church and finding a wife. When going home isn't an option, Lyla decides to help the Milners spruce up their rental. It does help distract her from her problems online. The more Lyla works on the rental with Reuben, the more she wonders if returning to her former life is worth it. However, is it the simple life that Lyla's heart longs for—or a particular guarded Amishman with secrets of his own? And when those secrets are discovered, what will it cost them both? Book two in the delightful and sweet Big Sky Amish Collection. Learn more about Christen on her WEBSITE. Like to listen on the go?
