The Survival boys are back Ian is bouncing back from Covid and Iso Joe probably has it right now, so he'll be given us his “flu game” this episode cause if he can get through this, he can get through anything. What's been going on these past couple of weeks? For starters Kemba was the Grinch who stole Christmas and Ian liked it. Speaking of putting everything on - the guys discuss Serge Ibaka. “He took everything”. What's Joe's zodiac big three? What's yours? The guys get into what an astrology chart is, and if you can believe in God and follow astrology (doesn't every one just know their sign?) What's going to be the brand of the year? The guys discuss and make predictions even though we are only three days in and what they want to see make a comeback in accessories, fashion, hairstyle and what trends need to stay behind with 2021. The Celtics faced off against a Cavaliers team that was 3rd in the NBA in Defensive Efficiency and 4th in the NBA in Net Rating tonight and played a near 48 minutes. The Celtics certainly had lapses tonight but this was a solid game from start to finish and a game where they led by double digits for most of the night. JB and Timelord both had monster nights but we also saw Romeo and Pritchard contribute throughout. This was a particularly tough game for Tatum, Smart and Schroder who combined to shoot 8-37 (just 21%) which is just horrible. With that being said, this is a really impressive win. While Tatum didn't have a great shooting night, we saw him and JB play really well off of each other for the second straight game which was good to see. We also got to see the return of Iso Joe which was fun to watch. Before you fans start clamoring for an Iso Joe permanent return, slow your roll. They are not going to sign a 40 year old but regardless of that, it was definitely fun to see him out there. The Celtics return to .500 and face off against the Bucks on Christmas day! PRESENTED BY KEEPS On this episode, once again we go up close and take you courtside to examine what it takes to be a great scorer. On the road with the BIG3 all season, Gil has staked his claim that Joe Johnson is the perfect player for the league and unquestionably deserves to be the MVP. While we watch Iso Joe go to work, Gil breaks down the finer points of Joe’s game that make him so unguardable. It starts with his size, then there’s the refined skill, but what we find our first hand, is that Joe is playing chess out there. It’s a really fascinating look to take in the game through the eyes of one supremely skilled player watching another supremely skilled player. Be ready to take notes.
