This week Katie says Instagram was serving a heavy dose of #relatable facts when she scrolled past a quote about how parenting is basically making plans and praying your kid doesn't get sick and ruin it. The timing couldn't have been better given that it hit her feed the same morning that her almost-one-year-old daughter, Emma, spiked a fever, just in time for Hallie's long-awaited trip to California to meet her. The mamas had been looking forward to the bestie time for months and had lots of fun packed into the 24-hour trip. Ultimately, Hallie decided a little fever wasn't going to stop her from coming. And while Katie's Instagram feed seems to be on point, Hallie is wondering what she did to get inundated with ads on social media for a company that takes your children's baby teeth and turns it into jewelry. It's a hard no for Hallie, who has no plans of keeping her kiddos' teeth after the tooth fairy collects them. As for Katie, she admits her mom kept her baby teeth and they actually came in handy for a science experiment when she was in junior high! The ladies also talk about how often their husbands go out with friends after Katie stumbled upon a Reddit post from a woman who resents her partner for going out when she barely gets out of the house except for the occasional yoga class and therapy. Katie says Jason will have the occasional dinner with friends but is mindful to go after the girls' have gone to bed. The mom-of-two adds that this chapter is all about their core four, and the focus is on being together, so she wouldn't be down for Jason hitting the town for drinks all the time. Hallie explains that for her, it's a no-brainer to let Andrew go golfing with friends once a week in the summer, explaining that it's his hobby, it nourishes his friendships and it fills his cup. But Hallie admits she's only so supportive of his time with friends on the golf course because her husband is equally as encouraging of her finding time to be with her friends and do things that bring her joy outside of the home. But we want to hear from you! Let us know in the comments how you feel about your partner going out!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Hallie and Katie have a lot to unpack after Katie's most recent dive down a Reddit rabbit hole, where the mom-of-two stumbled upon an interesting question: "When do you regain your life after having children?" The moms weigh in, explaining that they don't think women ever regain their former life. This week on the podcast, Hallie and Katie dive into the universal experience of mom guilt. Katie explains that she feels the most guilty when she takes time for herself away from her kiddos, even when it's for the betterment of her mental health, like a workout class, or a chore for her family, like a trip to the grocery store. She also has lingering guilt over having a second baby so quickly after her first. The mom-of-two, who conceived her second child when she was just 5 months postpartum with her first, admits that she feels like she is often torn between the two and unable to provide them with the kind of attention she would like to.Meanwhile, Hallie has mom guilt over her breastfeeding journey after she decided to start feeding her second-born formula at 7 months. The mama says she caught herself defending her choice to friends and family and had a realization that she hopes all moms can apply to their own motherhood journey. She also explains the guilt she feels traveling for work. While she knows she is providing for her family and is grateful for the gig, she suffers from wife guilt too, as her husband, Andrew, is left to juggle the kids and work at home. The moms touch on how motherhood can alter certain friendships after Katie's iPhone took her on a trip down memory lane. And Hallie is left pondering pubic hair in motherhood after Vogue declared that the bush is back in 2025. Hallie and Katie also take a moment to reflect on their recent trip to NYC to see the podcast featured on Amazon Music's billboard in Times Square. Hallie and Katie have a lot to chat about this week! Hallie is tired AF, revealing Dylan, 2, is having a major sleep regression and is waking up at 4am every morning and refuses to go back to sleep. Meanwhile, Katie and Jason's daughter, Kaia, 1, is having a sleep regression of her own, with a raging case of toddler FOMO that left her crying so hard in her crib she puked! As for their baby girl, Emma, 5 months, she gave mom and dad reason to celebrate, sleeping through the night for the first time. Hallie dishes on how baby led weaning is going with her youngest daughter, Collins, 7 months, and says this time around she has way less anxiety with all new milestones than she did with her firstborn. And speaking of milestones, Hallie reveals that she's scrambling to learn the tricks of potty training after her toddler jumped the gun and took a big poop in the potty. The mom-of-two also gives a sweet shoutout to her hubby, Andrew, who turned 40-years-old on Tuesday. The moms applaud Kylie Kelce after she kept it real about “severe baby blues” and the hardest parts of early motherhood during a recent appearance on the Sunday Sports Club podcast. The 32-year-old wife of NFL star Jason Kelce and mom to three daughters (with baby #4 on the way), is on a mission to normalize the messy, complicated, emotional realities of postpartum life. “The conversations we're not having are the things we're all experiencing—postpartum depression, baby blues, mom guilt, feeling inadequate as a woman. We all go through it, but nobody talks about it. And we should,” she emphasized.Hallie and Katie also weigh in after one mom asked for advice on Reddit regarding her 13-year-old daughter who wanted a $50 shirt. The mamas both agree that they would buy their daughters the shirt, but only under one condition.
