Today, the Two Mikes had a quick discussion with Dr. Salvatore Giorgianni Dr. Giorgianni is a Practicing Clinical Pharmacist and the Senior Science Adviser to the Mens' Health Network. he focused his presentation on the ongoing debate in the medical community about whether obesity -- in men and women -- is a medical problem or a lifestyle problem. He said there are medicines that will help those with diabetes, lung disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, but all of those illnesses also require changes in the lifestyle of the patients who suffer from one or more of them. On obesity, however, the above-noted argument continues at full throttle with the stop-eating bad things team going at it with the team that advocates developing a medicine that will help as people change their lifestyles. This status quo is not working, and simply maintaining an obese lifestyle can lead to nothing but increasingly poor health, especially in men. For example, Dr. Giorgianni said that men tend to live sicker lives than women, and are dying on average six years sooner than women. Until a helpful medicine comes along, he said, "what it comes down to is what and how much you eat, what you don't eat, what you do to regularly exercise, and what you do to keep everything in moderation." No medicine can turn the trick, however, without the individual's lifestyle changes to accompany it. MEN'S HEALTH Expert: Dr. Salvatore J. To vaccinate or not to vaccinate, that is the question. But the bigger question is: Does government have the right to tell you to vaccinate, or to force your employer to force you to vaccinate as a condition of keeping your job? The Constitution would suggest no. Common sense would suggest no. But Joe Biden and his band of merry White House tyrants continue to push the idea that government has the right to guide private individuals' medical decisions. And it's leaving the economy in a mess. On top of that, it's utterly killing the concept of God-given rights upon which this nation was founded. The vaccine mandates are truly shaping to be the civil rights issue of this era. Dr. Salvatore Giorgianni, senior science adviser to the Men's Health Network, weighs in and discusses.

LEGAL ANALYST/AUTHOR: John O'Connor, is author of Postgate: How the Washington Post Betrayed Deep Throat, Covered Up Watergate, and Began Today's Partisan Advocacy Journalism and host of The Mysteries of Watergate Podcast. He served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Northern California representing the United States in both criminal and civil cases. TALK TO DEEP THROAT'S LAWYER! Deep Throat's lawyer discovers the Washington Post betrayed his client—while covering up the real truth about the Watergate scandal. The conventional wisdom of Watergate is turned on its head by Postgate, revealing that the Post did not uncover Watergate as much as it covered it up. The Nixon Administration, itself involved in a coverup, was the victim of a journalistic smoke-screen that prevented mitigation of its criminal guilt. As a result of the paper's successful misdirection, today's strikingly deceptive partisan journalism can be laid at the doorstep of the Washington Post. After Deep Throat's lawyer, author John O'Connor, discovered that the Post had betrayed his client while covering up the truth about Watergate, his indefatigable research resulted in Postgate, a profoundly shocking tale of journalistic deceit. In an era when numerous modern media outlets rail about the guilt of their political enemies for speaking untruths, Postgate proves that the media can often credibly be viewed as the party actually guilty of deception. Americans today mistrust the major media more than ever. Postgate will prove that this distrust is richly deserved. JUNE IS MEN'S HEALTH MONTH ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: PRESSURE BUILDS TO DROP MASK MANDATE ON PLANES... Wearing mask may go from symbol of responsibility to vulnerability... For Many Workers, Change in Mask Policy Is Nightmare... WHY MASK WARS MAY NEVER END... MEN'S HEALTH EXPERT: Dr. Salvatore J. Giorgianni, Jr., PharmD. is Senior Science Adviser to the Men's Health Network and a Past-Chair/Chair-Emeritus of the American Public Health Association and former Alumni Association Board Member of Columbia University School of Public Health. June is Men's Health Month, a time to encourage boys and men to take charge of their overall health by making healthier lifestyle and wellness choices. This year, as the country is slowly beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucial that men keep up a healthy regime by getting regular checkups and ensuring that their healthcare choices account for the risks associated with their age, ethnicity, family history, and lifestyle. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in the United States, men on average die five years earlier than women and at higher rates from three leading causes of death—heart disease, cancer, and unintentional injuries. Additionally, nearly 15 percent of men aged 18 and over are in fair or poor health. This year, in support of Men's Health Month, the HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) will focus on promoting the Six Plays for Men's Health to remind men and boys that they can improve their health by seeking medical advice and taking other important steps, such as making healthy food choices, staying active, quitting smoking, getting regular checkups, taking care of their mental health, and being #VaccineReady—which includes getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone can text their zip code to 438829 to get vaccination locations near them. For vaccine information in Spanish, text your zip code to 822862. On June 18, OMH will join the Men's Health Network to celebrate Wear Blue Day as part of the year-round Wear BLUE awareness campaign to raise awareness for education about men's health. Visit our Men's Health Month webpage, available in English and Spanish, to learn more about the Six Plays for Men's Health, and access shareable graphics and social media messaging as well as other men's health-related resources. Children of divorce are in desperate need of a relationship with both their parents. Sadly, far too many are reduced to having a relationship with only one parent: the mother. Citing a principle called the “best interest of the child,” family courts award sole or primary custody of most children of divorced parents to mothers, thereby reducing fathers to occasional visitation and zero authority. The silence on this issue is deafening, and this silence comes just as much from the right as it does from the left. It even comes from churches. Making matters worse is that divorce is no longer fault-based. Unilateral divorce is now the law of the land, and three-fourths of divorces are initiated by wives. Women don't have to allege any fault by the husband, and he has no right to oppose the divorce. To address this monstrous social travesty, I could think of no one better than Stephen Baskerville, former Professor of Government at Patrick Henry College. Stephen is widely recognized as a leading authority on fatherhood, family policy, and sexual politics. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and writes on political ideologies with an emphasis on religion, family policy, and sexuality. His books include The New Politics of Sex and Taken Into Custody: The War against Fathers, Marriage, and the Family. Stephen serves on advisory boards to the Ruth Institute, the Men's Health Network and other organizations. His website is www.stephenbaskerville.com. IN THIS EPISODE: 5:00-8:00 How Stephen began writing on the “divorce industry,” the political dynamics involved and about no-fault divorce: why it disproportionately affects fathers. 8:00 How women are encouraged to get divorced and take the children, make false accusations against fathers etc. 10:24 How men are less likely to use children as weapons against the other spouse 10:45 The Myth of the Deadbeat Dad 14:00 What is no-fault divorce and why is it wrong, why is it a system of “chaos” and why we need to “enforce the constitution” when it comes to divorce 11:40 - 16:00 How the Bill of Rights is violated in many divorce cases and how basic constitutional rights are being violated. 17:00 How political correctness keeps ups from being able to address it and solve the problems with no-fault divorce and how both the left and right wing media both ignore it 19:00 How even Ronald Reagan admits he was deceived when he signed the first No Fault divorce legislation into action in CA. How there was also no public debate or discussion at the time it was enacted and throughout the years until now 19:45 How these laws have affected the social structure, including crime, fatherlessness in homes, etc. 20:49-22:50 What does Stephen tell and recommend for fathers as recourse for these issues? 24:35-30:30 Why the effects of the sexual revolution have led to the the West to brink of social and economic ruin (this includes sexual chaos, domestic violence, sexual harassment, etc.) 30:45 - Why feminism has not created a “utopia” for a women Support Suzanne on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/thesuzannevenkershow Subscribe to the YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/SuzanneVenkerAuthor --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
