New design rules due on March 1 will see the loss of three popular Mitsubishimodels. The Pajero Sport 4WD, Eclipse Cross SUV and the small ASX SUV willbe deleted from the Mitsubishi’s line-up due to the need for an expensive upgradeto their auto emergency braking technology. Mitsubishi Australia MD ShaunWestcott saying the investment in re-engineering the trio to comply with the newADR was not viable considering the advancing age of the vehicles. The threemodels last year were 38 per cent of Mitsubishi Australia’s sales and while thecompany has already announced a replacement for the ASX later this year, in theform of the Renault Captur based model, there are no imminent replacements forthe Eclipse Cross and Pajero Sport. Just a few weeks in the 2025, and there has been a flurry of Subaru news. At the Tokyo Auto Salon, the new S210 STI was revealed, but it is based on the WRX S4 and is the first "S" car to use a CVT transmission. How does this compare to the previous "S" series cars? The new 2026 Outback has been leaked, and it is a big change from the current design. The problem is it looks almost exactly like the Forester and Ascent. They all look like very similar SUV's...
