Hanoch Piven is an Israeli collage artist whose colorful and witty portraits have appeared over the last 30 years on both sides of the Atlantic: in most major American magazines and newspapers such as Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone and in many European publications. Piven has written and illustrated eight award-winning books for children, as well as Apps, TV programs and exhibitions. He received a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators of New York and Parent's Choice Award for his iPad App, Faces iMake, Right Brain Creativity. In our interview, Hanoch talks about his latest book for children Dream Big, Laugh Often (FSG Books for Young Readers, 2023) authored with Shira Hecht-Koller, his philosophy and how he came upon his unique artistic language which has made him internationally famous. His methods for creating art and fostering creativity have been implemented in many kindergartens and schools. Piven's art, made with everyday found objects, stimulates the viewer to look at the world in a playful new way, to engage in active participation and practice the basic principles of creativity, which can later be implemented in any art form or pursuit.

Bryan Chaffin and host Kelly Guimont discuss their picks for iPad apps of the last year in a wide variety of categories.
Terri Morgan and Chris Demiris of Luma Touch recently won Apple's prestigious “iPad App of the Year” award for iPad video editing app LumaFusion. The Instagram Stories - 9-14-20 - Mosseri Monday and will there ever be an iPad app?
Back in 2012, a Seattle-based startup named FiftyThree launched a drawing app designed for iPad, with a name that sounded like it was designed specifically for an Apple crowd: Paper. Despite its simplicity and also because of it, Apple crowned the iPad App of the Year. Tech writers described it as “the next great iPad app”, “a superbly designed sketching app,” and “a fresh canvas ready and waiting for your ideas, inspiration, and art.
Ways to Train Your Brain to Learn Faster and Remember More学得更快,记得更多的练脑方法New Words:Obvious美 ['ɑbvɪəs] adj. 1. Learn something new.It might sound obvious, but the more you use your brain, the better it's going to perform for you. For example, learning a new instrument or a new language.1. 2. Work your body.Exercise does not just work your body; it also improves the fitness of your brain. Even briefly exercising for 20 minutes facilitates information processing and memory functions.2. 3. Spend time with your loved ones.Talking with others and engaging with your loved ones helps you think more clearly, and it can also lift your mood.3. 4. Avoid crossword puzzles. Crossword puzzles can improve our fluency, yet studies show they are not enough by themselves. Are they fun? Yes. Do they sharpen your brain? Not really.4. 5. Eat right–and make sure dark chocolate is included.Foods like fish, fruits, and vegetables help your brain perform optimally. Yet, you might not know that dark chocolate gives your brain a good boost as well. When you eat chocolate, your brain produces dopamine. And dopamine helps you learn faster and remember better.5.
