Matt Spiegel and Laurence Holmes expressed their frustration over the NFL failing to award compensatory draft picks to the Bears for assistant general manager Ian Cunningham leaving Chicago to become the new Atlanta Falcons general manager. What has the guys especially perplexed is that Falcons president of football Matt Ryan confirmed that Cunningham is "in charge" of free agency and the NFL Draft process. Despite that, the NFL didn't award the Bears the draft selections under the Rooney Rule because Ryan is the top decision-maker in the league's view.
