When Per started experimenting with pricing, some of those experiments were very successful, pushing revenues up 25%, but they didn't understand why these experiments worked. 15 years ago, he set up his own shop and decided to develop a process that would make every pricing experiment a success. Creating a holistic view of how to price correctly, driving higher revenue, sales volume, and higher profits.Pricing is an art, combining process and science. Most people try to simplify the pricing model, thinking about the cost of the goods. But you actually need to price above your cost. The problem is that the costs have nothing to do with the value that you deliver, whether that is a service or a product. The willingness to pay means that you can measure how much people are willing to pay for the value you deliver. When you price accordingly. Your sales volume will increase, your revenues will increase and your shareholder value and profitability will increase all at the same time. The way we work as humans is that we cannot compare numbers. If you think about how many websites set up prices, they start with a low price, and then as you read left to right prices go up. That is wrong. What you want to do is start with a high price, which is called price anchoring. As you read left to right and top to bottom that's going to be the first price you see, which makes what appears after that more affordable. This will lead to higher sales volume, as opposed to doing it the traditional way, where you have an anchor, which is lower than the rest of the prices, leading to a lower willingness to pay and a lower sales volume.Create a value stack, starting with 10,000 where customers see that first, then 6000, then the 4000, which will increase sales of both the 4000 and the 6000. What you really want to do is have a mega-large package for 30,000, which nobody will buy. Just there as an anchor point. One of the most successful anchor points was when Apple introduced ‘the watch' a few years back. The normal Apple watch was 349 bucks which had exactly the same electronics as the limited edition in a gold case for 17,000. But it wasn't there to be sold. It was there as an anchor point. To do this properly, have pricing as a centerpiece in your business strategy. Within an organization, the company's profit comes from only three variables, the total cost, the total sales volume, and the price of what you sell. Of the three, the price has the highest leverage that impacts profit the most. If the organization, from a managerial and executive point of view, knows how small price changes will change the profitability of the company, you will take your company to the next level. Instalco har haft en spännande resa sedan bolaget grundades 2014. Instalco är en så kallad serieförvärvare, vilket innebär att de förvärvar mindre bolag inom bland annat installationsteknik. Instalco är nischade mot installationsföretag inom el, VVS, ventilation, kyla, teknikkonsulter och industri. Bolaget har förvärvat över 100 bolag och belönats på börsen med en uppgång på över 350 procent sedan starten. Nu genomför Instalco ett ”generationsskifte” och initiativtagaren Per Sjöstrand lämnar VD-posten för att istället bli styrelseordförande. Robin Boheman, tidigare CFO, tar över VD-posten. Our guest today is Per Sjöstrand, the CEO and Co-Founder of Instalco, the leading industrial installation company in the Nordics. Born in a mining town 200KM north of the Arctic Circle, Per became independent and self-confident, walking through the mountains of Northern Sweden for weeks on end. After high school, he became a military airborne ranger before enrolling in Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg to study engineering. Recognizing his interest in construction and leadership, Per launched his career in the industry with global leader Skanska where he spent the next decade. Having quickly moved up the ranks and wanting to follow in his father's footsteps, Per was given the opportunity to become CEO of a small family owned installation company, Midroc, then followed by private equity owned NEA Group. The owners were change resistant and heavy handed, giving Per the idea for a decentralized operating business. Before founding Instalco, he was asked to upgrade the major projects department within the Swedish Transportation Authority. Instantly recognizing the inherent difficulties of operating a bureaucracy, Per soon founded Instalco with the backing of FSN Capital in 2014. 100 acquisitions later, the group has a market value of nearly $3 billion and the stock has appreciated by almost 700% since listing in May of 2017. Per will relinquish the CEO role to current CFO Robin Boheman later this year, but he will continue to be heavily involved as Executive Chairman, planning to oversee geographic expansion into Denmark and eventually mainland Europe.

Många av er känner nog till den där känslan som sitter i både lår och huvud. När tröttheten och frånvaron av tillräckligt många höjdmeter under löpträningen gör sig påmind - och benen, liksom utan att rådfråga med huvudet, plötsligt bestämmer sig för att byta ut löp mot lunk så fort som det börjar vankas uppförsbacke.Just den känslan var något som jag ofta drabbades av då jag i somras besökte två av de personer som bland annat har de ökända loppen Kullamannen och Ladonia Mountain Trophy på sitt samvete.Efter en mils löpning längs med delar av bland annat ”Dödens Zon” anlände vi till Kullens fyr där Nordsjöns vindar rev och slet i fyrens gamla fönster - därav de smällar som ni säkert kommer att höra i bakgrunden.Men kanske var det inte vinden…kanske var det Kullamannen själv som stod utanför och bankade…..vresig och vred över att inte ha blivit inbjuden till samtalet…Vid mikrofonerna hör ni i vilket fall Ulf Öman och Per Sjögren. Museum - et program om norsk historie

Mosjøen har en ny spennende attraksjon – Helgelandstrappa. Sherpaer fra Nepal har de siste par årene anlagt en steintrapp i en bratt ut som fører opp til Øyfjellet. Derfra får du et supert fugleperspektiv på byen. Den vernede gamle trehusbebyggelsen – den moderne byen bak og i byens nordlige ende ligger aluminiumsverket Alcoa – hjørnestensbedriften. «Vi er så stolte av Sjøgata og trehusbebyggelsen, sier Kari Sommerseth Jacobsen. Den er helt unik i nordnorsk sammenheng. Hun er avdelingsleder ved Vefsn museum. Museet holder hus i Jacobsenbrygga. Og ja – hun er faktisk en av disse Jacobsene. Det var oldefaren hennes som startet handel her på 1800-tallet. Lokalhistoriker Per Sjåvik er også lykkelig over at Sjøgata ble bevart. For det var ikke gitt. På 70-tallet var det stor strid om denne kulturhistoriske perlen. «Ordføreren var samvirkslagbestyrer og ønsket seg parkeringsplass. Derfor ville han, og mange med han rive hele trehusbebyggelsen, forteller Sommerseth Jacobsen. «Min far var en av dem som ville rive hele «skiten», sier Per Sjåvik. «Faren min vokste opp under fattige kår på landsbygda. De gamle trehusene i Sjøgata minnet han om armod. Derfor ville han, og mange med ham, ha dette vekk, fortsetter Sjåvik. I dag er Sjøgata en flott dokumentasjon på handel og vandel på Helgeland på 1800-tallet da utviklet seg til et kraftfullt ladested. «Riktig frisk ble det da engelskmennene kom hit i 1860-årene og bygget dampsag. Det var noe nytt. Etter 30 års drift – det skapte rene klondyke-stemningen i byen – var det nær sagt ikke et tre igjen i Mosjøen. Og engelskmennene forsvant, forteller museumsleder Sommerseth Jacobsen. Helt sør i Sjøgata ligger Fru Haugans hotell med ander tilbake til siste halvdel av 1700-tallet. Et historisk hotell med en historieinteressert senior, Alf Gilroy Johannesen, som har sitt eget hotell-museum og ellers har lagt opp til kulturvandring i selve hotellet. «Min datter er femte generasjon på hotellet. Det har nær sagt bare vært kvinnelige ledere her.

Kulturradion Snittet:"En labyrint av ljud" Som en gigantisk, blå svävande låda, fylld med musik, berättelser och minnen väntar den stora ljudskulpturen på sina besökare. Här är övergångarna gränslösa mellan ljud som språk och ljud som musik och klang. I Kulturradion Snittet får lyssnarna idag följa med till Murberget i Härnösand, där Länsmuséet Västernorrland visar sin största enskilda utställning någonsin. Kerstin Berggren har besökt den stora utställningen "Ljudlabyrint" som är en del i ett forskningsprojekt om hur vi berörs av olika ljud. Själva labyrinten invigdes i januari och nu på söndag öppnas den andra stora ljudskulpturen som kalls "Terassen". Det hela är ett ljudskulpturen som kalls "Terassen". Det hela är ett samarbete mellan muséet och "Urban Sound Institute" och i programmet medverkar bl a tonsättarna och ljudkonstnärerna Staffan Mossenmark och Anders Hultqvist, arkitekten Catharina Dyrssen och akustikern och ljuddesignern Per Sjösten.
