Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon!   In Day 12 of our 30-day mini-meditation series, it is December 12th, and 12/12 is often associated with alignment, spiritual clarity, and light. The 1212 angel number signifies divine messages about new beginnings, spiritual growth, balance, and manifesting goals, urging you to stay positive, trust your intuition. It's a call to embrace positive thinking, self-reflection, and  reminding you that your angels support your spiritual path and manifestation of your dreams.  Today we are turning inward to connect with your inner glow.  In yoga philosophy and ayurveda, tejas is the sanskrit term for your inner radiance, brilliance, or spiritual fire. tejas is the subtle glow of clarity, intuition, and vitality. It's not about being bright, loud, or performing.  Tejas is the quiet, steady flame that lives at the center of your being. One practice to balance tejas is candle-gazing, or trataka.  I will guide you to visualize a candle but, you are also welcome to pause this episode to light a candle for your own trataka meditation.May you feel the glow and warmth of your inner radiance today.——————————I'd love to hear what you are experiencing practicing these mini-meditation episodes. "My spouse is currently sober and I want to know, how and when can I talk about things that he had done while under the influence that were immensely painful to me, without seeming like I'm shaming him.  What would be the best approach?" Reading from 'How Al-Anon Works for Friends and Families of Alcoholics', Rev Rachel reflects on the importance of compassionate communication and using the Soul Recovery process to heal from difficult and painful life experiences.  We can not change the past, however, we can work to let go of the pain and resentment that those experiences have been for us in our lives and relationships and learn how to communicate in healthy and open ways. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not allied or representative of any organizations or religions, but is based on the opinions and experience of Rev. Send one way text to Rev Rachel In this episode of the Recover Your Soul podcast, we explore one of the most profound questions in relationships: how to know whether to stay or leave. Through the lens of Soul Recovery, we'll look at how relationships, whether they're sources of love, challenge, or growth, can be powerful mirrors for our inner healing. This journey invites us to step into our own wholeness, moving beyond fear, codependency, or people-pleasing, and learning to listen to the wisdom within. Relationships have seasons, and part of our Soul Recovery process is gaining clarity on whether a relationship still aligns with our true self or if it's time to release it with compassion. It's not about a “right” or “wrong” decision but about trusting your soul's wisdom to lead you towards greater peace, healing, and joy in your life. Join me as we tap into this courageous self-inquiry and open ourselves to the possibility that, by honoring our own path, we step closer to the life our soul truly seeks. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not allied or representative of any organizations or religions, but is based on the opinions and experience of Rev. Have you ever felt like you're clinging too tightly to the outcomes of your actions, only to end up disappointed or stressed? Join me as I guide you through the transformative practice of detachment, a journey inspired by Karen Casey's "Let Go Now" teachings. When we use the tools and principles of spirituality and Soul Recovery, we can show up as our whole and authentic self in action- and at the same time let go of trying to control the outcome for ourselves and others.  This is not an easy process, but we are learning to use loving detachment one step and one day at a time to be in the positive flow of the universe and move closer to healing and inner peace.
