Who's leading the Calder Trophy race? Colby Cohen of ESPN and Daily Faceoff's Morning Cuppa Podcast talks about the case for Macklin Celebrini or Lane Hutson. (1:49:57) But before we get to Colby, we chat about the state of the San Jose Sharks at the 4 Nations break. Why do Sharks fans need to prepare for some pain (read more 8-3 losses) for the rest of the season? What's one of the big differences between say, the .500 Anaheim Ducks and the Sharks? How much swagger can good goaltending give you? What have we seen recently from Andrew Poturalski, Shakir Mukhamadullin, and Collin Graf? (29:08) How are Keegan and Sheng feeling about whether the San Jose Sharks will deal Trade Deadline candidates Nico Sturm, Jan Rutta, Luke Kunin, Mario Ferraro, Alexandar Georgiev, and Vitek Vanecek? (55:01) We also address the Noah Dobson trade rumors. Igor Chernyshov, coming off shoulder surgery is off to a torrid start with the Saginaw Spirit with eight goals and six assists in just five games. What has Keegan seen from the San Jose Sharks' 2024 second-round pick? (1:24:05) And now, Colby Cohen! (1:49:57) What are Cohen's thoughts about Celebrini losing a bet to Will Smith and wearing a Boston College jersey? A couple weeks ago, Colby had Lane Hutson leading the Calder Trophy race, does he still think that? What are Hutson and Celebrini's cases for the Calder? (1:53:50) Smith has had an up-and-down rookie campaign, how does Colby see it? Also, Cohen sees the Celebrini vs. Connor Bedard the same way that he did in the summer! (02:14:00)
The Kid A.G. and El Prez, yapping about how to create raunchy AI art and other geek shit, political shit and Kid has an adventure trying to keep score at a hockey game. Your average full of shit edition of the Goin' Deep Show. AI Boobies and No Nut November: We kick off with a bang, discussing the tech of today - not the nerdy stuff, but the kind that lets you create your own smut fest. El Prez introduces us to Civit.ai, where you can conjure up images hotter than the sun in August. We talk about the absurdities of No Nut November, especially after a night where the whole town gets as drunk as a skunk. If you're looking for Genesis Rodriguez or just want to see some AI-generated titty freckles, this is your stop. Hockey's Hardest Job: The Kid A.G. shares his harrowing experience at a Saginaw Spirit hockey game, where his job was to note which players were on the ice when goals were scored. Sounds simple, right? Wrong! It was like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube during an earthquake. With players changing faster than a porn star changes positions, it was a clusterfuck of numbers, penalties, and pure chaos. Political Dirt Bags: We dive into the swampy world of politics with a laugh at the expense of some real choice specimens. From a Congressman with a penchant for crushing ED meds to get his "up time" longer than a Netflix binge, to a DOJ appointee with more scandals than a soap opera, we question the sanity of our elected officials. Are they dirt bags before they get the job or does power turn them into one? The Entertainment Value of Idiocy: We reminisce about the days when political figures were at least entertaining before they became power-hungry pricks. Trump on Howard Stern? Gold. But now? More like a cautionary tale of what not to do when you've got the keys to the kingdom. Closing Fucks: So there you have it, folks - AI porn, hockey mayhem, and political perversion. Remember, if you're looking to make your own digital smut, go to Civit.ai, but keep it classy, or at least, as classy as we are here. And for the love of all that's holy, think twice before you vote for anyone with a suspiciously orange face or a forehead that looks like it's been in a battle with a steamroller. Until next time, keep your nuts un-nutted, your boobies AI-generated, and your political choices... well, let's just hope they're better than ours. Catch you on the flip side, you glorious perverts!

Connor Earegood and Sam Stockton get started with a spirited discussion of the significance of the superstitions around the Clarence Campbell Bowl and Prince of Wales Trophy. We also congratulate the Saginaw Spirit bringing the Memorial Cup back to Michigan. We go on to discuss lessons the Red Wings can learn from the two conference finals. Out West, we discuss what Dallas right and what the Oilers did even better, touching on the Edmonton PK, the Stars' chemistry, and Stuart Skinner's resilience. In the Eastern Conference Final, we discuss the source of the Panthers' dominance (the forecheck, defending the slot, and a general air of nastiness), as well as where the Rangers' formula fell short. We get into the ways that Florida's brand of hockey can serve as a model for Detroit as it looks to continue its push toward the postseason. We also consider the idea of "getting goalied" and its validity as an explanation for a series' outcome. We then jump into an extended discussion of the end of the Griffins' season and its ramifications for the 2024-25 Red Wings roster. In particular, we wade into another discussion of Jonatan Berggren's future.

More than 50 players and 100 draft picks were traded from the end of the Christmas break to the trade deadline on January 10th. The Saginaw Spirit did what they promised and found just about every available player, adding a whopping 10 new pieces in total. But it was the Owen Sound Attack who surprised some by being the first team to jump into the trade pool after Christmas and, by the time all was said and done, every single OHL team made at least one move. We dive into the results this week by looking at the rosters that have been built, the teams that surprised us, the teams that confused us, and why we might not be talking about the Niagara Ice Dogs for a while. Inside today's Locked on CanadiensOwen Beck has been traded...in the OHL from Peterborough to the Memorial Cup-hosting team the Saginaw Spirit after his time at the World Juniors. The duo then run down the list of Habs prospects to grade how they performed this year, and what impact it might have for them heading into the rest of their respective seasons. Finally, the Laval Rocket have won four straight games and are playing some great hockey! The bad news is that the injury bug has sprung up once again, leaving the Rocket in need of some help once again in the forward corps as both Gabriel Bourque and Sean Farrell are set to miss some time. Scott breaks down what happened over the weekend, and why a trade is very likely on the horizon for the Habs AHL club.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Jase MedicalEmpower yourself when you purchase a Jase Case, providing you with a personal supply of 5 antibiotics that treat 50+ infections.
