Today we have the opportunity to sit down with Travis B. Hill to learn more about Thorn #1 and his experience creating #indiecomics! Be sure to check the links below to stay in touch with his future works!"When harm done to the community of Rosebush Heights comes from the hands of law enforcement, city officials, and other legal channels, a masked vigilante rises up to push back against government-approved evils. Thorn takes to the night to make sure his neighborhood is safe from outsiders that bring perverted justice.Meanwhile, Alton Eldridge, who operates the local community center, is trying to work with the city to keep private investors from buying up Rosebush properties and forcing residents out of their homes. When the kidnapping of a Rosebush teenager sends the community into a panic, both Thorn and Alton spring into action."Portfolio - https://travisbhillcomics.com/buttermilk-1---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Twitter - https://twitter.com/travisbhill5Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/travisbhill5/---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To stay up to date with my content creation as well as my day-to-day thoughts, feel free to follow my Twitter - https://twitter.com/keepingitgeeklyFor single-issue breakdowns and more be sure to visit my TikTok over at https://tiktok.com/keepingitgeeklyBe sure to drop by my Twitch channel where I live stream every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 11 PM EST https://twitch.tv/job_for_a_codyMy personal Discord -https://discord.gg/vg9zEyKtIntro Music - https://twitter.com/PersyThePianist | http://linktr.ee/PersyNotesBackground Music - [FREE] Kota The Friend Type Beat - "Laid Back" - Kota https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIY19VZa3FY&t=83s --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/keepingitgeekly/support

Looking through old yearbooks is a trip, especially when reading the inscriptions from friends. The sauciest ones always seemed to come from Travis Boatwright, a class clown who knows he was a bit of a jerk back then. Fast forward 20 years, and "Boat" is now simply "Travis," and he's a family man with two kids and an engineering job that takes him all over the country. He and his wife, Coley, live in Omaha, but his parents still live in the Aurora area, so they visit often. (Travis helped me organize the food at this year's in-person class reunion with our classmate Matt Kirk. Thanks to you both for making the 'cue happen!) In this episode, Travis reflects on how he went from a teenager who made friends (and enemies) easily to a laid-back dad with a career and a desire to be part of his community. Thanks to this episode's sponsor: Aurora Professional Pharmacy, whose owner, Tom Morrison, has been serving residents of Lawrence County since 1981. Before Tom, a member of the Aurora High School Class of 1973, took over the pharmacy, it was called Wooten's and had operated in downtown Aurora since the 1930s. Both he and my mom remember the soda fountain that used to greet customers in the lobby. (One of my classmates, Kim Short, is the granddaughter of one of the pharmacists who used to work there. It's a small world!) Do you want to sponsor an upcoming episode of “Class Reunion”? Individual and business sponsorships are available at info@classreunionpodcast.com. Our friend Trey from The Swervey Jones Show stops by the studio. We kicked off the show by taking pickle back shots using the pickle juice from pickled jalapeños that Juan from the Yellow Brick Road Foundation gave me. Please check out ybrf.org to donate to his cause and help children in hospitals get wagons. We continued our drinking throughout the show with beers provided by Travis B from Micro Man Distributors, he gave us an assortment of Lost Coast Brewery. We talk about everything from Travis becoming a thespian, to Trey getting doo doo-ed on, to moves and the grammy's. Once again, thanks for checking out the show!
