Patrick Bet-David is an Entrepreneur, Founder of Valuetainment, and Author. Excelling through an early career in fitness, quickly jumping into finance management, and eventually into the media mogul he is today, Patrick has created a wealth of "world-stopping" moments on his charge towards success. Most recently tossing out a bid for former Presidents, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, to sit down together. If anyone can get it done, it's him. Listen and learn where he came from and how he became the success that he is. Patrick Bet-David is the true essence of the American Dream with an incredible life story and entrepreneurial journey. From a humble beginning as a young immigrant escaping a war-torn country with his parents, to founding his own company and media platform, he has gained a first-hand understanding of what “rags to riches” actually means and how it is fueled by freedom and opportunity. Patrick is a successful entrepreneur, best-selling author, and popular content creator committed to helping people get more out of life. He is the founder and CEO of PHP Agency, a financial services organization and one of the fastest growing companies in the industry, as well as the creator of Valuetainment, regarded as the #1 media channel for entrepreneurs and business builders. Patrick authored the best-selling guide “to audacious professional goals,” Your Next Five Moves: Master the Art of Business Strategy. This podcast was packed with insightful storytelling from Patrick. Here are some of the topics we covered: Patrick Bet-David dreamt of becoming the Middle Eastern Arnold Schwarzenegger. How he started his own insurance company with just 66 agents. Now, it has over 16,000 active agents nationwide. Freedom is so unbelievably underestimated, undervalued. When you have it, you don't even think about it. When you don't have it, you realize that you miss it. The best entrepreneurs are those who listen and are good at asking questions. The success of his company is credited to having a real vision and mission, as well as being extremely urgent about executing strategies. Businesses have to find a way to be technology-based in the next few years as some industries will have less face-to-face selling. How Valuetainment started. Patrick enumerates Valuetainment's standout interviews including the late Kobe Bryant. Valuetainment's interview with the former mob boss, Michael Franzese opened a new genre of interviewees for the channel. If there's one thing that successful entrepreneurs have in common, it's that they don't want to be told “no.” They always want to prove a point. Patrick talks about his book, Your Next Five Moves, which is really about sequencing your steps to success. The importance of becoming a “blue ocean” where one becomes irreplaceable. Pressure comes with the territory. It's like a pendulum--the higher you move up, the bigger the vision you have, the bigger the pressure. The happiest person is the one who doesn't have a clue what's going on in the world. While Patrick is quite political, he doesn't intend to run for office. However, he believes that he can be a ‘kingmaker.' The podcast ended with Patrick saying he hopes to celebrate a lot of things working well a year from now. His family was eventually emigrated to the US when he was 12 years old. After high school he enlisted in the US army and served with the 101st Airborne Division. After leaving the Army he got a job at Morgan Stanley. In 2009, he launched a website called Saving America and later a radio show broadcast in Los Angeles. Today's episode is particularly special to me as I reach the milestone of my 20th episode and interview my entrepreneurial mentor, Patrick Bet-David. Patrick Bet-David is a serial entrepreneur who founded and hosts the #1 channel on youtube for Entrepreneurs called Valuetainment. In addition to Valuetainment, Patrick Bet-David launched a financial firm, PHP Agency, that has over 8,000 agents in roughly 49 states. Together Patrick Bet-David and I discuss whether or not you're born an entrepreneur, suffering consequences, the United States' victim culture, divisions created by the media, and more. Dan discusses the healing benefits of ayahuasca & plant medicine & his entrepreneurial journey in the plant medicine industry. He talks with top minds like Aubrey Marcus, Dorian Yates, Dennis McKenna, & Patrick Bet-David. “No one can have your psychedelic experience for you; you just have to screw your courage up & raise the cup to your lips & face what's in there.” - Dennis McKenna on psychedelics & plant medicine “Ayahuasca is a symbiotic ally of the human species.” - Dennis McKenna on ayahuasca & plant medicine “Ayahuasca is changing global environmental consciousness.” - Dennis McKenna on ayahuasca & plant medicine “Life itself is a drug experience.” - Dennis McKenna on psychedelics & plant medicine “Psychedelics are not suppressed because they are dangerous to users; they're suppressed because they provoke unconventional thought.” - Dennis McKenna on psychedelics & plant medicine “We never feel completely ready for life's big decisions; but in taking the leap, we push ourselves to the next level.” - Patrick Bet-David on entrepreneurship “You're going to use experiences to become either bitter or better.” - Patrick Bet-David on entrepreneurship “If you always make the right decision, the safe decision, the one most people make, you will be the same as everyone else.” - Patrick Bet-David “The bigger the vision you have, the more important it is to think on what type of a team you're going to put around you." - Patrick Bet-David on entrepreneurship “If you can walk, talk, hear or see, you have everything it takes to do something big with your life.” - Patrick Bet-David “Plant medicines like ayahuasca ask us to connect to all parts of ourselves.” - Dorian Yates on ayahuasca & plant medicine “The first time, mother ayahuasca couldn't work with me. She told me I was too toxic & to stop poisoning myself & come back later.” - Dorian Yates on ayahuasca & plant medicine “The plant knows who she wants to heal each time.” - Dorian Yates on ayahuasca & plant medicine “The people who do ayahuasca are bonded together forever, like a brotherhood.” - Dorian Yates on ayahuasca ceremonies “With good practice, plant medicines can play a key role in the healing of collective suffering on the planet.” - Aubrey Marcus on ayahuasca & plant medicine “You're not rewarded for the comfortable choice.” - Aubrey Marcus on ayahuasca & plant medicine “Know the plants, know yourself, be honest, & decide the terms of your relationship with them.” - Aubrey Marcus on ayahuasca & plant medicine _____________________ As always, this episode is brought to you by Soltara Healing Center. Leading and running two very successful multi-million dollar companies would take an exceptional leader, and an exceptional example of that would be our today’s guest: Mr. Patrick Bet David. Patrick is a refugee from Iran, joined the military, before starting his venture in a business career in the financial services industry. In his early days, he said his dream is to become a body-builder and maybe join Hollywood. But his love for numbers paved the way for him being a financial advisor before building his own agency. He met a girl who he dated before who was a financial advisor for Lakers players and he saw that she makes good money. He got interested and dive into it without having a degree. After a tenure with a couple of traditional companies, he was inspired to launch PHP Agency Inc. Today, he has 16,000 agents in 49 States with over a half a million square feet of office space. Patrick is passionate about helping the next generation of entrepreneurs by teaching thought-provoking perspectives on entrepreneurship and disrupting the traditional approach to a career. Not only is he successful in his agency and making courses available to other CEO’s and thought-leaders, but he is also very popular with his media company: Valuetainment, which has been referred to as “the best channel for entrepreneurs.” Be prepared to be inspired today, as Patrick will share how he successfully lead two very successful business simultaneously, what his mindset has been, what’s his leadership skills, and how he imparts them to his family, especially his kids. This episode is the one with so many nuggets, so if you are in a place where you can take notes, you definitely should. Apply them, and they will definitely change your life. Here’s What You Missed Patricks’s early life and how it shaped him into who he is todayHow Patrick successfully run two multi-million dollar company simultaneouslyDuring pandemic: Passion or Profit? What to teach your children so that their dreams becomes a realityWhat’s his number one key to success? How to be a good leader Knowledge Nuggets [8:17] I don't commingle the two businesses. There's complete different platforms that we have. And once you do that, you earn respect from both sides of the audience and they trust you more to do business with them. [11:54] there's one of three gifts that we all have. You're either a great writer. You're either a great with audio or you're great on camera. Whichever one you're good with lead with that [15:03] I think too many people do too creative stuff, way too early. [18:04] I'm a 20, 20, 20 guy, meaning first 20 years of your life, try to not make a big mistake where you ruin your life. The second 20 years is find a career and stay in it for 20 years and make your money. The next 20 years, I'm going to combine my passion and business together. The last 20 years for me is going to be contribution. [19:19] Money's gonna make a lot of the big decisions in your life and you cannot treat it casually. You have to take it very seriously. So profit matters just as much as passion does and value does. [23:12] As a parent, ask these questions: If you had to show certain values and principles to your kids, to give them the biggest upside to have their dreams become a reality, how would you change your approach to your example you're giving to them because they're going to duplicate you in what ways would they need to live to have their dreams become a reality? And if they do what you do as a parent, will their dreams become a reality? [25:02] I just want to find what excites them the most and what their strengths are. And then I want to put them in that environment that highlights their strengths and their gifts. [28:07] The number one key to success in my eyes is learning how to process issues. [35:03] I think a lot of times leaders are afraid of having civil conversations with people that you have to have would push buttons because they are so concerned about being like all the time. And I think in the world of leadership, you gotta be able to have the courage to do that. [36:54] Go find somebody that's strong and shadow them for as long as you can, until you no longer need them. Welcome to another episode of Truthzilla! We had a crazy busy week dealing with all the stuff going on in the world and taking care of our families. We weren't able to get together on the night that we usually record and decided to take a week off from recording an actual episode. Megan and Scott got together at the last minute and put together this episode featuring a couple clips that are relevant to the discussions happening in the worldThe first clip is the infamous debate between Robert F. Kennedy Jr and our friend Mr. Alan "Statutory-Rape-Is-An-Outdated-Concept" Dershowitz. Kennedy is a vocal dissenter to the vaccine agenda and Dershowitz, a constitutional lawyer, believes firmly in the constitutionality of mandatory vaccinations. It is a fascinating debated moderated by Patrick Bet-David at Valuetainment. We reached out to Patrick and obtained permission to use this clip. PLEASE follow and support him on his YouTube Channel and his website.(Side note, it looks like the New York Times has "memory-holed" the original 1997 article by Alan Dershowitz called "Statutory Rape is an Outdated Concept." I was able to pull up the article, no problem, last time we talked about Dershowitz a few weeks ago. BIG TECH AND THE MEDIA ARE ACTIVELY COMPLICIT IN PROMOTING, OR AT THE VERY LEAST, PROTECTING THE AGENDA TO NORMALIZE CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN). Kennedy Jr in Berlin Germany on August 29, 2020. It is a rallying cry for freedom, a strong criticism of global health policy and and a plead to the world to resist the agenda being forced upon us. This clip was downloaded from Banned(dot)Video. We hope you enjoyed the sixth episode of the Back To Business podcast! This week we talked about sacrifice, what is necessary to sacrifice, what the impacts of those sacrifices can be in the long-term and how you deal with that. The points we covered were: Anything worth having takes sacrifice: this can be applied to anything but especially in business. We linked back to Episode 4 on Fear and how people can be worried to make the sacrifices but perhaps don’t weigh up the impact of not making the sacrifice. We talk about the Valuetainment podcast, where Patrick Bet-David discussed giving up cheesecake. He explained that giving it up was easier 6 months down the line than it was 2 months down the line. Sacrifice is a habit, that can be trained like a muscle. If you want to see results at the gym, you have to work out and sacrifice your time to do this. You may not feel good about it before, or during, but you always feel good after. We discussed compounding interest and the effect that sacrificing a higher salary for yourself can have over time if that money is reinvested in the business. We’ve linked the compounding interest calculator below! Tony Robbins’ book Money Masters The Game, talks about a worker on a very low salary who managed to diligently save up successfully for retirement. We talked about how even the word ‘Sacrifice’ sounds biblical. It is more of an exchange of one thing, in return for something else. Turning the sacrifice around. For example, instead of feeling like you’re missing out because you’re sacrificing going to the pub in order to work, see it is you’re sacrificing your potential for financial independence to go to the pub. Remember your goals and remember what’s important to you. Deine Lieblings-Internet-Ressource?
