In 2010, Director Marshall returned to Wood County to resume command until his retirement in July 2017, concluding more than 25 years of service with the West Virginia State Police.Following his retirement, Director Marshall was appointed as the first Director of Corrections Investigations for the West Virginia Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety (now known as the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security). He was also designated the Director of the Division of Juvenile Services.
