That chat was filmed at Hidden Grooves, a high-end London hifi bar owned by Richard Branson. The speaker behind us? Worth £55,000. No joke.We also sit down with songwriting legends Paul Kelly and Lorde, diving into the tracks they obsess over and the stories behind them. You'll catch all the episodes from Tuesday September 9 on ABC TV and ABC iview.PLUS: every week, we'll drop extended cuts of these chats right here on the podcast. All the bits we had to leave out of the TV episodes, the stories that didn't make the edit, the moments that stayed with us.So hit follow and get ready for a season of Take 5 that'll shift your perspective, make you laugh, and maybe even make you cry.And while you wait for Season 4, there's plenty to explore. Adam talks with Australian comedian Sam Campbell as they walk around The Latitude Festival and get to know each other. Topics include whether it's OK for a Brit to do an Aussie accent, Sam's upbringing in Queensland, Adam's hat, the rules of stand-up comedy, whether AI is good at writing plays, why Kasabian chose their name, ear injuries, why painting sheep pink is the kind of thing conservatives do and creative angst. ОЭЩ МАГЗИУ (or Oesch Magziu to you and me) by ГШ (or Glintshake to you and me) is an album inspired by the Russian avant-garde, a creative movement popular in Russia in the early 20th Century and worked into a more modern sound. However, will it translate across the globe? Australia's finest, Aaron Chen, is here to tell us.

A quite brilliant stand-up, with gloriously unique and surprising one-liners, Aaron Chen started comedy incredibly young, and was already working to shed every ounce of hackery while still in his teens. As well as his deeply alt roots and proclivity to experiment with comedy forms, he is also a master of the internally collapsing vox pop, pushing through the soul-crushing rejections to a place of genuine brilliance. We talk about his early experiments with ultra-awkwardness, his astounding YouTube figures, why he searches for the one-line joke in every story, and discover why he never performs in Chinese, despite his huge Chinese audience.Go to www.comedianscomedian.com/insiders for ad-free episodes, extra content from every show that has it, and much more - including the exclusive Insiders Q&As with Nish Kumar, Alfie Brown, James Acaster and Fern Brady, plus the incredible “self-help for comedians” special with Amanda Donnet.Follow Aaron:TW @aaronch3nIG @chennylifestyleWisdom School with Aaron Chen (Adult Swim)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUdPv8VmH5cEverything Stu's up to:This podcast is @ComComPod on Twitter and Instagramwww.comedianscomedian.comStu offers remote talks to business on what the distilled wisdom of over 350 comics can teach you about resilience, especially in times of pandemic.“The most inspiring talk I've had in years!” (LEGO staff member)Find out more at www.stuartgoldsmith.comStu's “Virtual Office Party” is now available as the perfect solution to remote-working office parties, sales conferences, motivational and wellbeing events.“It was an absolutely hysterical and wonderful evening, for both those partaking and everyone watching online!”- Maria Kuzak (Fundraising Manager at CALM)“The games and interactive element were hilarious and extremely well executed! 10/10 from us, you created a real buzz in our business, thank you." - Ben Gott (SVP at Merkle)For more info on how this unique concept can bring your staff together while working apart, go to www.stuartgoldsmith.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Aaron Chen is a comedian from Sydney who you may have seen on ABC Comedy, SBS or one of his many videos circulating online which are racking up hundreds of thousands of views. Aaron has been doing comedy since his mid teens, starting out in local competitions and slowly building himself up to national fame having already accumulating a number of awards and achievements. Most notably he's starred in his own TV late show titled 'Aaron Chen Tonight' on ABC TV and also amassed viral level attention in 2017 with his sideline live reporting at the Liverpool vs Sydney FC game. Aaron's coverage stirred up both positive and negative reactions from people all over the country, introducing many to him for the first time. I met up with Aaron at The Factory Theatre in Marrickville (Sydney) and embarked on an awkwardly funny and chaotic conversation covering all sorts of topics from buying apartments in Vaucluse, top fast food restaurants, bogan comedy fans (ie: me) and much more. Be sure to follow Aaron via all of his social media pages to keep up to date with his shows and projects. Show notes Follow Aaron on Facebook here and here | Instagram | Twitter |
