We get into the formation of the band, how Kitten is the "most pink person in the world" (seriously, she's on an episode of Netfix's 'Amazing Interiors'), being never too old to chase your dreams, and so much more!

Welcome back to Analyze Scripts, where a psychiatrist and a therapist analyze what Hollywood gets right and wrong about mental health. Today, we are covering the new Netfix hit, Baby Reindeer. This show was especially interesting since it was based on a true story which writer and actor Richard Gadd depicts in this minis series. Donny, played by Richard Gadd is a wannabe comedian working at a local bar when Martha, played by Jessica Gunning, finds herself as one of his patrons. The series takes a dark turn when Martha begins to stalk Donny and harass his current and past love interests. We analyze Martha and discuss why people stalk as well as co-occurring pathology. In episode four we learn about Donny's traumatic past and discuss the impact sexual assault can have on future relationships and sexuality. This episode covers some upsetting themes so please take care. **TRIGGER WARNING: This episode discusses potentially triggering topics that may include, but may not be limited to, abuse, harassment, substance use, disordered eating, self-harm, and/or suicide.PRIOR EPISODES REFERENCED IN THIS EPISODE: Episode 77 & 78 Quiet on Set RESOURCES REFERENCED IN EPISODE:https://www.stalkingawareness.org/https://victimconnect.org/learn/types-of-crime/stalking/SOCIALS:InstagramTikTokWebsiteDR. It was a year ago that ChatGPT burst onto the scene. It moved AI from something that was magic in the background —like Spotify's weekly personalized playlists, or Netfix recommending what to watch next— to a product people could directly interact with and put generative capabilities into the hands of everyone. It's now used by 100 million people a week. Businesses now are looking at ways to integrate and use it in their workflows, and it's made the creation of chatbots easier by giving it source documents and fewer pre-defined steps. According to Pitch Deck, more than $21 billion has been invested in generative AI startups so far this year. LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Adam Simon was a partner in Echo Street Capital Management, a successful hedge fund in New York City. While he enjoyed the challenge of the work and it's financial rewards, the demanding 80+ hour per week schedule was wreaking havoc on his personal life. So in 2017,he quit and focused his attention on reconnecting with his family. As the Covid-19 crisis began, Adam, his wife and their two children headed to a safer location in the suburbs. "We were going a bit stir crazy" and they opted to launch an informal neighborhood project called "Pandemic Breads." They baked bread and other sweets in their kitchen and sold the goods door-to-door. He loved everything about baking and became especially enamored with the challenge of making sourdough bread. After working as an intern in two commercial bakeries in New York City, Adam launched "Sourdough Gambit" named after his love of chess and the popular Netfix series "The Queens Gambit." He started small, baking two days per week in a shared commercial kitchen and selling his products via home delivery in Manhattan. Since launching in February, 2022, the new venture has gone exceptionally well winning rave reviews from customers. Click here to learn more about Sourdough Gambit.
Today Kevin breaks down the details of the latest Elden Ring patch notes, we talk about an itch.io's fundraising event to help out in Ukraine, and last but not least, Netfix's live-action Resident Evil gets a release date.

Submarine sold American Factory from the Obamas' Higher Ground productions and Participant Media, a documentary that premiered at Sundance in 2019 (and went on to win the Best Documentary Oscar). He also brought Boys' State to 2019 Sundance, where it became the highest-priced documentary sale in the festival's history, bought by Apple for $12 million. That same year, he sold Billie Eilish's documentary, also to Apple, for $26 million, a record for a music documentary. Currently Braun is “at” virtual Sundance with the festival's most buzzed-about title, Nothing Compares, a documentary about Sinead O'Connor, an elusive personality he says he had pursued for years. Since premiering on Jan. 21, the movie, directed by Kathryn Ferguson, has won rave reviews, and a 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes for its poignant and powerful storytelling about O'Connor, an artist Braun says delivered a protest message that many Americans now lean into, but at the time only earned her scorn, ridicule, and eventually exile. She spoke about “reproductive rights and gay rights, and the ability for a woman to choose and many other issues,” says Braun, “and was essentially raked over the coals and penalized. I think every position she took at that earlier point…she would now be hailed almost as a hero.” Braun also reveals in his interview how, while preparing for Sundance, he and the team behind Nothing Compares responded when they learned that O'Connor's 17-year-old son had committed suicide. “If they wanted to be pulled, we would have pulled it,” he says on the podcast, “and we respected what those nearest and dearest to her believed was the right path.”Also on the podcast, Braun discusses what it was like working with the Obamas, attending the screening of the surprise documentary about Alexi Navalny, the Putin opposition leader, and how it feels to help independent filmmakers who typically work on shoestring budgets to suddenly, many for the first time in their lives, make the kind of money they once could only dream of: “I have to say it is the greatest feeling.”Also on The Ankler:In Wall St. Just Handed Netflix a Golden Opportunity to Grow Up, Entertainment Strategy Guy discussing eight ways the streaming service can emerge from a disastrous week.
