Welcome to the first episode of the CWOWI Podcast with John and Brian. In this episode, Brian shares his journey from growing up in church and ministry into military and law enforcement service — and how exposure to suffering, evil, and the harsh realities of life led him into a deep crisis of faith. This conversation is based on themes from Brian Fenn's book Resilient Faith: Standing Firm in a Fallen World. If this conversation encourages you, please like, subscribe, and share this video with someone who may be struggling in their faith journey.Get the book here:https://a.co/d/05XpaV9tCONNECT WITH USWeb: https://churchwithoutwallsinternational.orgPodcast: https://cwowi.buzzsprout.comVimeo: https://vimeo.com/cwowiInstagram: https://instagram.com/cwowiFacebook: https://facebook.com/cwowinternationalBooks: https://churchwithoutwallsinternational.orgTranslations: http://www.cwowi.eu
In this message from Tommy Carr, we continue the Family Matters series by walking through Genesis 26 and the life of Isaac—a man who faced famine, conflict, pressure, and opposition, yet continued to trust God through it all. This sermon is a powerful reminder that faithfulness is not built in comfort, but through testing. When culture shifts, pressure rises, and life becomes uncertain, God still calls His people to live with integrity, trust His provision, and keep doing what is right even when the results aren't immediate.Through Isaac's journey, we see that genuine faith leaves a legacy. A faithful life impacts children, grandchildren, relationships, and even those far from God—not simply through words, but through a life consistently surrendered to Christ. If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs hope today.

In this episode, Lee is joined by member and deacon David Green to process together how we, the people of God, can know the will of God and make faith-filled decisions in both the big and small opportunities that the Lord puts before us. On a daily basis, we are blessed to know the Lord and walk faithfully with him. Whether you're facing a major life decision or wanting to grow in the grace of daily dependence on Jesus, this conversation will be a blessing.
In this thought-provoking episode of SWAT Radio, hosts Brad Sykes, David Gray, and Craig Henderson dive into an authentic conversation about the elusive nature of joy and the constant pull of the world's frustrations. Using a recent golf tournament and their experiences as parents and grandparents as relatable backdrops, the team explores how easily our joy becomes circumstantial when it's rooted in our own performance or the success of those we love. By examining Philippians 1, the discussion shifts toward a higher perspective: discovering a steadfast joy that isn't dictated by life's "bad shots" or "unfair prisons," but is firmly anchored in the advancement of the Gospel and the presence of the King in our hearts.
In this episode of the Grace Auburn Podcast, Lee is joined by Communications Director Kelly Sommer to talk about how Christians can faithfully engage with social media. As part of the Faithfulness in a Fallen World series, they discuss how these platforms can shape our identity through comparison, distraction, and misplaced affections, while also recognizing that social media is now woven into everyday life. Rather than rejecting it altogether, they explore how believers can approach it with wisdom- guarding their hearts, pursuing Christ as the true source of identity, and using digital spaces to encourage others and point people to the gospel. They also share Grace Auburn's philosophy for social media: to serve as a "window into the life of the church, not a mirror," highlighting authentic gospel community and inviting others to see the work God is doing among His people.

In this episode, Lee is joined by fellow Pastors Caleb Farrow and Jeff Hollis to discuss the nature of our identity – both the one we are born with and the one we are given in Christ – and how what the Bible has to say about who we are is significantly different than what the world says about who we are. Identity is given, its not a choice, and it is therefore, a gift.

Pastor Jimmy & Marissa discuss last Sunday's sermon!
I had to become willing to place myself at the altar of God's will. I had to relinquish expectations about life, God, relationships—that I held tightly in my fist. With each relinquishment, I discovered I could trust God, find happiness.
In this episode, Lee is joined by Pastor Frank Vaughn and the Braden Benson, Executive Director of the Owen Center for Counseling here in Auburn, Alabama. They discuss anxiety through a Biblical lens and how believers can walk alongside one another in even the darkest days. This first of 2 episodes is not meant to be a how to on "fixing" anxiety, but an exploration on Biblical counseling as a whole when it comes to combatting the schemes of the evil one alongside the local church, community and meaningful pastoral care. https://theowencenter.com/
Ecclesiastes - Jesus overcomes the evil in this fallen world, so you can live a quiet and productive life.
On this episode I have on a couple of young women to talk about what it is like to navigate this fallen world as Mormon Fundamentalist Women and as a daughter of God. Now for those of you who watch or listen regularly you will remember about three weeks ago I had Zack & Makayla on the podcast where they each told their story. Today Makalya joins as well as Zoe Erickson. Zoe is the daughter of Josh Erickson and both of these young women are thoughtful and intelligent which will be on full display as we sit down and have this conversation. During the course of this conversation we touch on a lot of different topics ranging from the messages young women receive from the world, unrealistic beauty standards, plastic surgery, abortion, competition, the messaging from the world to young women, their thoughts on women and priesthood, historical roles of women in the early restoration, and much more. Buckle up for a thought provoking episode. Also for those that are interested Makayla has started her own YouTube Channel called the Divine Daughter Project and after having watched a couple of episodes I can't recommend highly enough as a resource for our young women and you can find a link to that channel in this episode's show notes. In this episode, Lee is joined by member Jenna Le Hamilton. As we continue the series Faithfulness in a Fallen World, the two discuss what the Bible says about our bodies, how we are to honor the Lord with them, and ways that the world attempts, and oftentimes succeeds, in distorting Christians view of themselves. In many ways this conversation serves as an introduction to many topics and covers many different angles from scripture. Our hope is that this conversation will challenge and encourage believers to have longer, meaningful conversations with the Lord and their friends and family on how we are to view our bodies based on right theology.
In this episode, Lee is joined by Lee and Ray Hornsby, members of Grace Auburn Church. In 2021, Lee and Ray experienced the death of their seventeen-year-old son, Price. This podcast is deep, rich – full of joy and full of pain – and we genuinely believe will bless anyone who is wrestling with loss in this world. Their faith, including their wrestling with God, is a testimony to the Lord who never leaves his children...even when it hurts the most in this broken world.
In this episode, Lee is joined by member, and longtime Auburn resident, Howard Porter. Howard has been involved in many different types of business over the years, including real estate development and appraisal as his primary vocation. Porter Properties has been a staple in the Auburn community for many years, but in this episode, Howard shares his passion for young men and women entering the workforce, and those decades in, to remember that their identity should never be rooted in work but always in the person of Jesus. Through the brokenness of his own story, Howard's passion for Jesus and for others to know and love him is infectious. Given every opportunity that God now provides him, he is quick to remind others that everything we've been given is an opportunity for stewardship and to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ.

If God is a good Father and creates a good world, why does evil exist? The Catechism addresses this profound and often painful question. Fr. Mike helps us understand how to reconcile sin, evil, and suffering with God's loving Providence. He assures us that while God does not remove evil, he does redeem it, offering himself as the solution. Today's readings are Catechism paragraphs 309-314. This episode has been found to be in conformity with the Catechism by the Institute on the Catechism, under the Subcommittee on the Catechism, USCCB. On this episode Lee is joined by Kevin Briggins to kick off our new series, Faithfulness in a Fallen World. They discuss race in America vs race according to the gospel of Jesus. The Word of God is clear that the human race is diverse, consisting of all types of ethnicities from all over the world, but that all people are made in the image of God. The question then arises, "How did we get here? Where did humans mess this all up? What cultural influences over the last 100+ years poured gasoline on the fires of racism, especially in the context of our current cultural moment. This conversation is part 1 of a longer interview with Kevin on how the gospel of Jesus counter forms our minds to think differently than the world around us.

Welcome to another episode of Endure to the End with Josh and Caitlin. In this episode, we respond to questions from our Instagram community and dive into a thoughtful discussion about how this generation is living the gospel differently than previous generations. We talk about the difference between doctrine and culture, especially here in Utah. Perfectionism can sometimes creep into church life in ways that aren't really doctrinal at all. We want to be careful not to judge ourselves or others by human standards that God never intended.Service and church callings are meant to help us grow and connect with one another and with God. But enduring doesn't require us to be perfect. It requires us to be sincere, humble, and willing to keep trying. We also explore how we want to teach our children — focusing on gospel principles instead of comparisons. We discuss boundaries, agency, and why growth comes line upon line. Just like you can't cheat running, you can't cheat spiritual progression either. The main takeaway:Give your best effort. Trust God's grace. And don't get trapped chasing an image of perfection. We close with a powerful scripture from Ether 12:27 about weakness, humility, and the sufficiency of grace in our lives.Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/enduretotheendpod/Zunex Pest Control: https://www.instagram.com/zunexpestco/00:03 – Welcome and introduction00:25 – Instagram questions from listeners00:43 – Responding to intense submissions01:03 – How this generation lives the gospel differently01:18 – Teaching doctrine over culture02:04 – Perfectionism and cultural pressure02:47 – Avoiding judgment by human standards05:10 – Pressure felt by millennials08:23 – Comparison as the thief of joy10:08 – You can't cheat spirituality11:43 – Scripture about not running faster than strength12:24 – Balancing capacity and grace15:41 – Personal experience with postpartum and callings19:08 – Accountability and agency21:30 – Peace through sincere service24:38 – True closeness with God27:17 – Lessons learned from friction33:09 – Testimony of service41:03 – Becoming more Christlike42:03 – Scripture: Ether 12:2744:16 – Final thoughts44:41 – Closing testimony
What happens when God's promise is placed in human hands—and human fear gets in the way?In this Weekly Comprehensive Bible Study, Reverend David Paxton leads viewers deep into Genesis Chapter 20, uncovering the powerful and often overlooked account of Sarah: the protected promise in a fallen world. This teaching reveals that Genesis 20 is not merely about Abraham's failure or a foreign king's mistake. It is about God Himself intervening to protect His covenant. As Sarah, the bearer of the promised seed, is placed in danger through fear and compromised leadership, God steps in personally. Kings are warned, households are restrained, and the womb of promise is guarded by divine authority. The lesson is clear: God defends what He has promised—even when His people fall short.Through careful Biblical teaching, Rev. Paxton explores themes of covenant protection, spiritual warfare before fulfillment, God's defense of the vulnerable, and the assurance that silence does not mean abandonment. Genesis 20 stands as the battle before the birth. All setting the stage for Isaac, and reminding believers that God's faithfulness does not depend on human perfection.Watch this study and many others at www.lastchristian.net/television, where faith-centered, family-friendly teaching is always available. We're also now on on both Roku and Amazon Fire TV. How do we know who is a genuine believer? And why does it matter to know the difference between conversion and conviction? Those are the questions we're wrestling with in this episode How to Study the Bible. Today, we're studying Daniel 4 in our Living Right Side Up in an Upside Down World series. After dreams, miracles, and multiple warnings, the king still resists repentance—until God graciously brings him low and restores him when he finally acknowledges: “Heaven rules.” Nicole distinguishes religious conviction from Christian conversion, names how pride hides in plain sight, and calls listeners to examine their allegiance—not to personalities, parties, or echo chambers, but to Jesus as Lord. You’ll learn how to read Daniel 4 with context, spot the turn from “the tree” to “the man,” and apply the chapter’s timeless truths to your life today. Key Takeaways from Daniel 4 - Religious conviction does not equal Christian conversion. Interest, morality, or “saying the right words” is not the same as repentance and allegiance to Jesus. Heaven rules. God is sovereign over kings, kingdoms, and timelines—even when He seems slow. Pride is subtle and stubborn. It hides in control, certainty, self-reliance, and power. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. God is patient. Nebuchadnezzar receives 12 months to repent—Scripture shows a God who warns, waits, and still welcomes. Read carefully. Daniel 4 shifts from describing a tree (it/its) to a person (him/his)—a textual clue that the dream is about the king himself. Escape echo chambers. Anchor teaching in Scripture, not personalities or algorithms. Measure fruit, not just words. Repentance is a turn, not a tweak. Conversion means leaving the kingdom of self for the kingdom of God—a new operating system. These past few weeks have been full of evil and violence, but also with the sounds of revival! How do we rightly respond to the evil and suffering that surrounds us? In this timely conversation, I sit down with my husband, Dr. JP Jones, to explore the spiritual antidote to tragedies like assassinations, school shootings, and international conflict. Drawing from his years as a pastor and theologian, JP unpacks the root causes of moral decline while pointing us back to Scripture as our guide. Together, we discuss how to channel righteous anger without slipping into unrighteous responses, and how to wield spiritual weapons—like prayer and truth—in today’s battles. This episode will challenge and encourage you to stand firm in faith, overcome evil with good, and trust God’s sovereignty even in chaos. Dr. Greg sits down with Raquel Rose, who's lived this from every angle—first as a scared college student facing an unexpected pregnancy, later as a school counselor walking with teens through their toughest moments, and now as a Catholic mom of four. She shares real-life wisdom about building trust, opening up honest conversations, and bringing faith into everyday family life. Key Topics: The real reasons kids shut down—and what actually helps them open up Why Raquel was afraid to tell her parents she was pregnant—and what she wishes they had said The moment of grace that changed everything before her scheduled abortion How seeing Jesus in the Eucharist led to healing, hope, and a new path What Raquel learned from years of counseling teens who couldn't talk to their parents Simple ways parents can build trust and bring faith into everyday family life Learn More: The Little Rose Shop – Explore Raquel's Catholic toys, books, and tools for faith-filled family life. They removed Aether from the periodic table of elements and hid our true history, but that can't remove the light of the Creator and Truth from our hearts. David Weiss returns to SGT Report to discuss this and much more, thanks for tuning in. DITRH: https://flatearthdave.com/ https://rumble.com/embed/v6umnqq/?pub=2peuz
