Transforming Perspectives | Phenomenal, is the 'World', believed as the physical land masses stretched across geographical atlases or rotating globes.  Biblically, this ideology is,  ‎ארץ pronounced, 'erets  (Hebrew), and means land or the earth. The implication is, as in the Beginning when the Lord spoke, ‘Let there be..' and aspects of creation became visible as physical substance and matter, such as, the Heavens and the Earth. Formidably distinctive, defining ‘the World' in certain Scriptures, is the word, κόσμος (Greek), in English pronounced cosmos, which is interpreted as an orderly arrangement, decoration or adornment, presumable of creation or the earth and figuratively includes its inhabitants, morally.  This ideology is implied when John the disciple proclaimed, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16, Kings James Version.Theologically, the formative ideology of ‘the World' as an adornment of God's creation are the effects of his Supremacy, council, orders and decrees, called the Law. Most, understand this ideal as the physics of ‘cause and effect'.  The ecologies of the natural environment, and habitable creatures of plant, animal and man. Solomon inferred, of the constant transitioning of World, as עןלם, ‎עלם, pronounced, ‛ôlâm ‛ôlâm (Hebrew), pertaining to eternity, by expressing, “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11,  King James Version.Subsequently, that World became corrupted when Adam sinned, secularly, the Fallen World. Scriptures are specific pertaining to the conditions of the world in the end times, correlating it to pride, sedition, and idolatry, symbolically termed Babylon.  Apostle John, saw in visions of the effects of the Lord's righteousness,  that the corrupted must become incorruptible, and hearing the angel's voice shouting, “Babylon is Fallen, is Fallen!  “For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” Revelation 18:3, King James Version.Pray, Read and Study |  Isaiah Chapter 48 and Revelation Chapters 17 & 18.____________________Thank you for joining and listening to our Podcast's Episodes! How do we know who is a genuine believer? And why does it matter to know the difference between conversion and conviction? Those are the questions we're wrestling with in this episode How to Study the Bible. Today, we're studying Daniel 4 in our Living Right Side Up in an Upside Down World series. After dreams, miracles, and multiple warnings, the king still resists repentance—until God graciously brings him low and restores him when he finally acknowledges: “Heaven rules.” Nicole distinguishes religious conviction from Christian conversion, names how pride hides in plain sight, and calls listeners to examine their allegiance—not to personalities, parties, or echo chambers, but to Jesus as Lord. You’ll learn how to read Daniel 4 with context, spot the turn from “the tree” to “the man,” and apply the chapter’s timeless truths to your life today. Key Takeaways from Daniel 4 - Religious conviction does not equal Christian conversion. Interest, morality, or “saying the right words” is not the same as repentance and allegiance to Jesus. Heaven rules. God is sovereign over kings, kingdoms, and timelines—even when He seems slow. Pride is subtle and stubborn. It hides in control, certainty, self-reliance, and power. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. God is patient. Nebuchadnezzar receives 12 months to repent—Scripture shows a God who warns, waits, and still welcomes. Read carefully. We begin an overview in four podcasts of Blake's two final and definitive poems, Milton and Jerusalem. Milton is in two books. In the first, Milton returns to the fallen world to achieve the clarified vision that eluded him in Paradise Lost. He wrestles with Urizen, who tries to oppose him, and enters Blake's left foot to inspire him.

Imagine this scenario: Someone you dearly love is hurting. Maybe they are grieving the loss of a loved one or battling the depths of depression. Maybe they've lost their sense of purpose or just got a hard diagnosis from the doctor. What is the best thing you can do for them? Is it calling them every day? Making them meals? Being willing to sit with them in the quiet? Should you watch their kids? Offer to drive them around? Pick up their groceries? All of those can be really good things for us to do. They show our love and support in very practical ways. But what if I said the very best thing you could do was to stay close to Jesus yourself? Let's explore some reasons why staying close to Jesus is so important when we are caring for someone who is hurting.
