One of this summer's big movie hits was Thor: Love and Thunder, the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Welcome to Miss-Rolled Adventures! Where a group of friends, who are newish to the game, attempt to make plans and horribly execute them. Not always by their choice! With 6 players in addition to the DM, watch as the story unfolds in a Homebrew campaign set around similar basis to "The Hoard of the Dragon Queen" campaign module. Due to this being a homebrew game, I"ll list the general mechanic changes below: -1. Requirements for Multi-classing have been removed. However, in order to multi-class, it will be "unlocked" through story implemented means, I.E. taking a pledge as a paladin or cleric, or communing with nature in some way. -2. Players can cast spells without material need except if it is one of monetary value. -3. Casting spells in general possibly triggers a wild magic surge from the Sorcerers Table. (inspired from a different show called Heroes & Halfwits, by RoosterTeeth. Link provided below.) Though it has my own spin of things involving it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDvGu4PcSr0&list=PLTur7oukosPHugT2lhLuyihm3hyJcvIeu -4. Casting spells during combat have the assumption that if it needs a free hand, the caster puts away their weapon then draws it back out after casting. This is to save time during combat rather than wasting turns drawing weapons and such. -5. With the prediction that the campaign would take the party beyond level 10; at character level 4, the party each trigger their normal ability score improvement. This only effects the first one they WOULD get. As an example, a multiclass with level 3/2 would trigger this ruling. but to get their next one would not trigger at 4/2. -6 Players with spells can change at most 3 spells per long rest, rather than only a select few of classes having that natural ability. This is to allow the players flexibility when learning what spells are useful and not needing to wait until they level again to change them. Talking Through Dead or Alive Or On this episode of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Mark and I talk through Season 8, Episode 11 of The Walking Dead, which is titled Dead or Alive Or. Another doctor bites the dust! We see the journey of Father Gabriel and The Hilltop’s Dr. Carson try to get back to The Hilltop, and though it seemed like God might be guiding them, they not only end up not succeeding, but Carson is killed in a failed attempt to escape. Dr. Carson is the latest in a long line of doctors/medical professionals who have died on The Walking Dead. Jenner, Dr. S (from the prison – I forgot about him during the recording), Hershel, Bob, “Porch Dick”, Denise, Dr. Carson’s brother, and now, Dr. Carson himself. We still have a doctor from The Kingdom we haven’t met, and Siddiq, a former resident, and that means he IS a doctor, and you will hear a rant about that during the episode about several podcasts that got this point wrong this week, so I’m guessing at least one of them won’t survive the season. I felt bad for Gabriel, ending up with Eugene (who is a bit of a jerk this episode). Will he die? Will he get back his eyesight? He just continues to screw things up, though I would have to put this one on Carson, for doing such a dumb thing. As a doctor, he is a most valuable person to have around, yet like Denise, he does such a dumb thing, a lot dumber than Denise did. Tara and Dwight Exactly how much time has passed since the beginning of Season 6? Maggie’s still not showing yet. How long has it been since Dwight killed Denise? I know Tara has every right to be mad at Dwight and not want to work with him, but her behavior is a bit out of character. It also makes her a hypocrite, when you consider that she stood beside The Governor when he killed Hershel. Dwight shows he is working with our group, but then has to go back to Negan. Finally, a tear… I intentionally picked the Enid picture because this was the moment that finally got me to shed a tear for Carl. That was a heartbreaking moment to watch, seeing joy turn into sorrow. Talking Through Dead or Alive Or On this episode of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Mark and I talk through Season 8, Episode 11 of The Walking Dead, which is titled Dead or Alive Or. Another doctor bites the dust! We see the journey of Father Gabriel and The Hilltop’s Dr. Carson try to get back to The Hilltop, and though it seemed like God might be guiding them, they not only end up not succeeding, but Carson is killed in a failed attempt to escape. Dr. Carson is the latest in a long line of doctors/medical professionals who have died on The Walking Dead. Jenner, Dr. S (from the prison – I forgot about him during the recording), Hershel, Bob, “Porch Dick”, Denise, Dr. Carson’s brother, and now, Dr. Carson himself. We still have a doctor from The Kingdom we haven’t met, and Siddiq, a former resident, and that means he IS a doctor, and you will hear a rant about that during the episode about several podcasts that got this point wrong this week, so I’m guessing at least one of them won’t survive the season. I felt bad for Gabriel, ending up with Eugene (who is a bit of a jerk this episode). Will he die? Will he get back his eyesight? He just continues to screw things up, though I would have to put this one on Carson, for doing such a dumb thing. As a doctor, he is a most valuable person to have around, yet like Denise, he does such a dumb thing, a lot dumber than Denise did. Tara and Dwight Exactly how much time has passed since the beginning of Season 6? Maggie’s still not showing yet. How long has it been since Dwight killed Denise? I know Tara has every right to be mad at Dwight and not want to work with him, but her behavior is a bit out of character. It also makes her a hypocrite, when you consider that she stood beside The Governor when he killed Hershel. Dwight shows he is working with our group, but then has to go back to Negan. Finally, a tear… I intentionally picked the Enid picture because this was the moment that finally got me to shed a tear for Carl. That was a heartbreaking moment to watch, seeing joy turn into sorrow. Talking Through The Lost and the Plunderers On this episode of The Walking Dead Talk Through, we discuss Season 8, Episode 10 of The Walking Dead, which is titled The Lost and the Plunderers. Audio Problems this episode… This week’s episode is not up to our normal audio quality. This is the first episode that I’ve done at our new place, and it ended up being very echoey with a lot of reverb. I’m working to correct this for next week. Also, we had a few technical issues on top of that, and that didn’t help. I corrected, or at least improved, some of the issues before handing the files off to Kyle for editing, as I was too busy with the move and the process of cleaning up the old place for a sale. Thanks to Kyle for editing this episode. I know it wasn’t easy. Title Cards This episode brought back the use of title cards. Most prominently, we saw them in the 5th season premiere, No Sanctuary. We see title cards for Michonne, Negan, Enid, Simon, Jadis and Rick, a total of six cards instead of five, as I mentioned in the recording (I was tired… so sue me!). Mark and I thought this was the best episode we had seen from The Walking Dead in a long time, and definitely the best of the season so far. We actually felt something for Jadis??? We actually felt sympathy for Jadis for the first time, after seeing her go through this brutal attack. Hopefully, she will become a more sympathetic character going forward. Ratings are WAY down from last week The Lost and the Plunderers got a 2.86 in the 18-49 demographic, with 6.820 million viewers, down considerably from 3.64 and 8.282 million viewers last week. I’m guessing people were interested to see what happened with Carl but were really disappointed that he’s gone. I expect more erosion of the viewership going forward. Get in your feedback! Today Dave is having a technical issue and had to revert to just using his Audio Technica 2100 into blab. 1:31 @nocupcakesone wants to know  how to fix his podcast audio.  He is using a condensor microphone. These pick up everything. A dynamic microphone like the Audio Technica 2100 Separate the pieces in your sound chain (microphone, cables, power, etc). Get it down to the simplest for mat you can then build on that Write down what you've learned from each step of the troubleshooting process. The caller is using Spreaker and Uberconference. Uberconference provides a mp3. It's a better bad choice. Dave uses Callburner to record skype. You might also look into getting a skype in or a skype out number to call phones. 12:30 How Many Listeners Should I Have? There is no one size fits all as different genres and topics have more potential than others. Right now the median of podcasting right now is 165 per episode. Why did you start podcasting? Nick Cowie, from nickcowiecom talks about the problems faced with the mobile web in terms of display size of mobile screens, the number of different mobile web browers, how rapidly the mobile web is changing, how people use the mobile web compared to the Internet on a computer, problems faced using the mobile web on a non-qwerty keyboard and the costs of accessing the mobile web. Sales of mobile phones and PDAs capable of accessing the mobile web are increasing, and will continue to do so. The challenges we face as educators will be how to appropriately tap into the mobile web.
