Jadyn first caught attention on "The Voice" stage during Season 25 - not as a contestant, but supporting her father and future S25 finalist Bryan Olesen during his Blind Audition. When John spontaneously invited her to perform, she impressed with an impromptu rendition of "Put Your Records On." Following in her father's musical footsteps, Jadyn now leads AM/FM, an 1980s cover band where she's embraced as a daughter by her bandmates, all men in their 50s and 60s. Her versatile performances span from Madonna to Dolly Parton, but she's still honing in on who she is as an artist. Working full-time as a sales assistant at a window and door dealership, Jadyn is ready to return to "The Voice" stage - this time with her biggest inspiration, her dad, cheering her on.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Thank you for being part of the conversation. This is Play It Forward. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward. Episode 642 with Sofronio Vasquez winner of NBC's The Voice season 26. After several weeks of Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts, Playoffs, and Live Performance Shows, The Voice Season 26 Finale happened. Dozens of singers across four Coach teams were whittled down to just five finalists: Danny Joseph from Reba McEntire's team, Jeremy Beloate from Snoop Dogg's team, Sofronio Vasquez from Michael Bublé's team, Sydney Sterlace from Gwen Stefani's team, and Shye, also from Team Bublé. After singing their hearts out one last time in the December 9 episode, America sent in their votes. The results were revealed on live TV-and one Artist's life was changed forever. So, who won The Voice Season 26? Sofronio Vasquez won The Voice Season 26! Shye took second place. Sydney Sterlace took third place. Danny Joseph took fourth place. Jeremy Beloate took fifth place. Before the winner was announced, fans were treated to a star-studded Finale episode. Not only did all the Artists in the Top 5 perform duets with their respective Coaches, some of your favorite singers like Dan + Shay, Kelly Clarkson, and Sting also took the stage. Season 26 has been a rollercoaster, with two new Coaches, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg, entering the fold. "My strategy was to look, listen and learn," Snoop Dogg said about his first day of Blind Auditions. "First of all, I'm glad they didn't make me go first [during Blinds]. They made me go, like, second or third, so I was able to watch the other Coaches and see some of the things that they did. And then once I understood that, I could add some Snoop-ism to the situation, as far as my conversation and my lingo, to the Artist to try to get them to come home." Bublé said about the Blind Auditions experience, "Honestly, it's not what I'm best at. It's hard to advocate for yourself in that way. And when I did, I tried to do it with humor, to be self-deprecating and to hope that you could break down barriers that way. It would have been harder for me, I think in other seasons where there was a different energy, like more of an edge of Coaches kind of fighting each other. But I was trying to be genuine, to tell people that I might be able to help them, and use humor, again, just to break down those walls. Because my dad always said: If you're good, you don't have to tell people." Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Asher HaVon, a 31-year-old soulful gospel and R&B artist from Selma, Ala., was named champion of "The Voice" Season 25. HaVon faced off against a chorus of formidable competitors. Other finalists this season included teammate Josh Sanders from Team Reba, Bryan Olesen and Nathan Chester from Team Legend, and Karen Waldrup from Team Dan + Shay. In his Blind Audition, HaVon showed off his gospel choir roots with a powerful rendition of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain," which had Reba, Chance and Dan + Shay campaigning for him. He ultimately chose to join Team Reba, where he and teammate Alyssa Crosby performed a rousing duet of Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" during the Battle Round. In the Knockout round, he had all the coaches on their feet during a showstopping performance of Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart." During both rounds, Reba chose HaVon to move on while his teammates were quickly stolen by other coaches. During the Playoffs, HaVon gave the audience chills with an emotional rendition of David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium," securing a spot in the Top 12. In the first live show, he performed "I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz II Men, wowing with his technical ability. During the semifinals, HaVon joined Madison Curbelo and Serenity Arce for a haunting trio performance of "Fix You" by Coldplay and then stepped outside his comfort zone with his version of Beyoncé's massive hit "Irreplaceable." On Monday night's telecast, HaVon continued to impress the coaches and viewers alike with an up-tempo live performance of "Last Dance" by Donna Summer as well as a down-tempo performance of "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. Before being crowned the winner at the conclusion of tonight's finale, HaVon was joined on stage by coach Reba McEntire for a soulful duet of "On My Own," by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald. Following her first win, coach Reba McEntire will return to "The Voice" Season 26 as the reigning champ, alongside new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé and returning coach Gwen Stefani. HaVon's presence on the show's social media platforms this season garnered immense popularity. His performances accumulated 11.6 million views across "The Voice" pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. Growing up in Selma, HaVon was surrounded by gospel singers. Asher's mom, whom he likes to call his singing sergeant, really pushed him to sing at a young age. His first major performance came in 2015 when President Obama came to Selma for a speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery in honor of African-American civil rights. Asher auditioned for a spot in the choir that was set to perform John Legend and Common's song "Glory." The choir director was so blown away that he chose Asher to lead the choir that day, performing in front of 200,000 people. Chechi is a first-generation Nigerian-American whose full name means "God's wish" in Igbo. From age 13, Chechi began writing songs and turning heads with her whistle notes. Never thinking that music was an option as a career, Chechi went to college to study medicine. However, when she decided she wanted to pursue music instead, the transition was tough, especially in Michigan. Finding her artistry took time and her final push was when she opened for Brian McKnight, which motivated her to take the plunge. Now having been in Los Angeles for the past six years, Chechi has made a name for herself. This year she performed with Lizzo at the Grammys doing background vocals. She has also been in Kanye's Sunday Service Choir. In 2014, he formed his band and performed at weddings and other events. Welcome to Bottom of the Bill! "This week, we're joined by Jax-based country artist Madison Hughes. It was a joy to sit down and talk to her about her musical direction, the start of her creative journey, and much more! Madison is a singer-songwriter who is versatile across multiple genres and styles, creating "countrified" versions of rock classics or more folksy, sultry interpretations of pop hits. In 2022, she decided to audition for The Voice. After a lengthy vetting process, she secured a coveted spot on the Blind Auditions stage by charming the coaches with her country rendition of Bob Dylan's classic, 'Knocking on Heaven's Door,' earning a three-chair turn."

With a single dad who DJ'd every weekend during her childhood, it was impossible for Gina not to be involved in music. When she turned 14, she asked her dad if she could be more involved in his gigs and would help him set up his equipment. Gina always felt that she wanted something bigger than her small town of Paxton, Illinois, and performing became a way for her to stand out in her town. As she went through high school, she realized she wanted to pursue music more seriously. With her father and stepmother's support, she decided to move in with her aunt, Gretchen, in Sacramento, California. The transition to a big city was very intimidating at first, but, with the help of her aunt, she now feels more comfortable in California. The Voice is one of America's most popular shows, airing Monday and Tuesday.ABOUT THE VOICEThe four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" features the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show's newest season.Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star Chance the Rapper and platinum-selling singer-songwriter Niall Horan claim their red chairs alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon. The competition is tougher than ever as Shelton goes for the win in his final season. The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the coaches are based solely on voice and not looks. The coaches hear the artists perform but they don't get to see them, thanks to rotating chairs. If a coach is impressed by the artist's voice, they push a button to select the artist for their team. At this point, the coach's chair will swivel so that they can face the artist they selected. If more than one coach pushes the button, the power then shifts to the artist to choose which coach they want to work with. If no one pushes their button, the artist is eliminated from the competition. The artists' family and friends watch their Blind Auditions from side stage with host Carson Daly, cheering on their loved ones and hoping for a coveted chair turn.Returning this season is the block, which adds another layer of coach competition during the Blind Auditions. The coach chairs each have an extra set of buttons with the other three coaches' names on them, which prevents a coach from adding a new artist to his or her team. The coaches can use their block buttons only on one artist for the entire first round of the competition. The blocked coach only discovers they are blocked if they press their button, and though their chair will still turn, their lane lights up with "BLOCKED." If the coach doesn't press their button, the block is still available for another audition.Once the teams are set, the battle is on. The coaches dedicate themselves to developing their team of artists, giving them advice and sharing the secrets of their success. During the Battle Rounds, the coaches will pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together. The artists are vying for their coach's confidence and decision to take them to the next round. After each vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his or her artists will advance to the next round of competition. This season during Battles, the all-new Playoff Pass is at stake. The Playoff Pass will allow both artists in a battle to advance while the Playoff Pass winner gets a huge advantage by skipping the Knockout Rounds and advancing straight to Playoffs, taking them one step closer to Lives. Each coach will have one Playoff Pass to use as well as one steal in the Battles. With the steals in play, a losing artist is available for the other coaches to save and bring onto their own team. Artists who won their battle or were stolen by another coach will advance to the Knockouts, while the four artists with a Playoff Pass will advance straight to Playoffs. In the Knockouts, the artists will be paired against another teammate, but this time they will perform individually while their direct competitors watch and wait. To prepare for this high-pressure competition, the coaches enlist legendary country music icon Reba McEntire as the Mega Mentor to advise all of the artists competing in the Knockouts. Having served as Battle advisor to Team Blake during the show's inaugural season, it's most fitting Reba returns as Blake coaches his final group of artists and bids farewell to the competition. The coaches will choose the winner of each Knockout, and the artist not selected will be available to be stolen by another coach. The pressure is on as each coach will only have one steal in the Knockouts. The Playoffs are back, further bolstering the competition following the Knockouts. The 20 remaining artists hold nothing back and tough decisions are made when each coach can only advance two artists to the live semifinals. The stakes are even higher for the artists because there are no steals available.Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other during live broadcasts. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artist. The live semifinals will be more dramatic than ever because the Top 8 artists will all perform live for a real-time vote, and results will be revealed at the end of that show. After the real-time votes are counted that night, the five artists with the most votes will be revealed and advance to the following week's finale. Those with the lowest number of votes will be sent home. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract."The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Warner Bros. SherAge: 20Hometown: Ashford, ALResident: Montgomery, ALJerome got his first taste of music at a young age when his church's music director pushed him to direct a show at a nursing home. From there, he followed in his parent's musical footsteps and started singing in church. Jerome's parents are both teachers, so they made sure Jerome focused on his academics. Now a sophomore in college, Jerome is a pre-dentistry major and has big dreams of becoming the “singing dentist.” Pursuing dentistry leaves little time for Jerome to focus on music, but he does manage to make time for leading worship at a church. “The Voice” is his opportunity to see if he has what it takes to make a career out of music and follow his dream. https://twitter.com/jeromegodwin8 https://www.instagram.com/jeromegodwinlll https://tiktok.com/@jeromegodwinlll

The stakes are even higher for the artists because there are no steals available. Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other during live broadcasts. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract. "The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. MONDAYS 8/7c AND TUESDAYS 9/8cABOUT THE VOICE The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show's newest season, which premieres March 6. Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star Chance the Rapper and platinum-selling singer-songwriter Niall Horan claim their red chairs alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon. The competition is tougher than ever as Shelton goes for the win in his final season. The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows. During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the coaches are based solely on voice and not looks. The artists' family and friends watch their Blind Auditions from side stage with host Carson Daly, cheering on their loved ones and hoping for a coveted chair turn. Returning this season is the block, which adds another layer of coach competition during the Blind Auditions. The coach chairs each have an extra set of buttons with the other three coaches' names on them, which prevents a coach from adding a new artist to his or her team. The coaches can use their block buttons only on one artist for the entire first round of the competition. The blocked coach only discovers they are blocked if they press their button, and though their chair will still turn, their lane lights up with "BLOCKED." If the coach doesn't press their button, the block is still available for another audition. Once the teams are set, the battle is on.
