Be sure and join us with our special guest, 20 year FDNY veteran, Lieutenant Serge Burack. Serge started his career as a Junior firefighter with Elmont Fire Department in 1977, and in 1981 was sworn in to the Elmont Fire Department on Engine 4. Serge took the FDNY test and began Probie school on August 3rd,1985. In September of 85, right out of probie school, he was assigned to Engine 76. In 1988 he transferred across the floor to 22 Truck. Then in 1994 Mr. Burack would transfer to Ladder 126. In 1997 Serge was promoted to Lieutenant, assigned to the 15th Division. In 1998 Lt. went to Engine 234. In 2002 - 2003 he was detailed to OEM for a short time. After that, transferred across the floor again, to 123 truck, ultimately retiring in 2005. No doubt Lt. has some great stories for us and we can't wait to hear them. Especially working on the 4th of July in 1991. Gonna be another great show. We will get the whole skinny.
