La draft NBA aura lieu le 29 Juillet 2021 et cette fois-ci, ce sont les Pistons qui ont le premier choix. Gagner ce premier choix à la loterie et regarder en arrière vers les drafts précédentes des Pistons, nous donne l'occasion dans ce podcast de parler des Pistons et de l'exercice de la draft. Ce sujet, abordé indirectement à de nombreuses reprises dans le podcast (l'échec Darko Milicic, Dave Bing gagné à pile ou face perdu, la construction des Bad Boys notamment par la draft...) sera cette fois-ci le cœur du dernier podcast de la saison. Contrairement à ces 3 futurs Hall of Famers, Darko Milicic a eu une carrière médiocre et aujourd'hui, ce choix est considéré comme l'un des plus gros ratages de l'Histoire de la NBA. Mais alors : mais pourquoi les Pistons ont-ils drafté Darko Milicic en 2003 ? C'est la question à laquelle nous allons essayer de répondre dans le podcast d'aujourd'hui. Nous allons retourner en 2003 pour expliquer le contexte de l'époque et la tendance dans laquelle était la NBA (recherche du nouveau Dirk, défiance du circuit lycéen,...)
